---Stop Making Mistakes, Give K-Ci A Break
"Look, I know you're upset, and I'm not tryna take sides or anything but..." DeVante sighed, then. "Think about things from Rozonda's perspective. She's having trouble looking after Kayshani. What makes you think she can handle another baby?"
"Yeah but why get yourself pregnant if you know you're not going to handle it?!" K-Ci ranted. "It just doesn't make any sense."
They were still in K-Ci's room and they were still pretty much talking about the whole abortion situation.
K-Ci was actually really annoyed at DeVante because for someone who had said that he wasn't taking sides, he had seemed to be strongly against K-Ci's side and K-Ci didn't like that.
"You know what? Just leave."
"K-Ci we're not done here."
"Just leave!" He had ordered, pointing to the direction of the door.
DeVante didn't say anything to K-Ci.
He had just pretty much stared at him instead but that was it from him really.
He wanted to argue with him but he understood the situation. He too would have been pretty ticked off and frustrated if he had found out that his now ex girlfriend wanted an abortion.
And even worse?
She hadn't told him this before today.
The only issue right now was that Jodeci was always with four of them and not three of them instead.
DeVante didn't want people asking questions as to where K-Ci was, assuming that they had gone on stage without him.
Give him a break man. He needs it.
He just didn't know what to say if someone had asked him where K-Ci was.
Oh yeah, he got break up blues.
No way.
That didn't sound the most professional, at all.
Hopefully K-Ci would have felt a lot better before their concert had started, but the chances of that happening right now was like fifty to nothing.
Either way, DeVante had left the scene, before reassuring K-Ci that if he needed them then he should have let them know.
And they were never going to leave.
Then he shut the door behind him.
He was a bit annoyed at himself for getting K-Ci to be mad at him but sadly what was done was done so there was nothing DeVante could have done about the whole thing sadly.
Dalvin and Jojo didn't seem too pleased when they had realised that DeVante had looked seemingly upset about something.
But worse than that?
He had come back without K-Ci.
"Where the hell is K-Ci, man? We can't do this whole thing without him."
DeVante sighed.
"Look, he just broke up with Rozonda, aight? She wanted an abortion but she didn't say that to him. The only person she told about this whole thing was Kayshani, which makes sense as they're siblings but she didn't tell K-Ci this earlier."
Dalvin and Jojo had freaked out internally, just like DeVante and K-Ci too for that matter had done when they had heard the same thing.
"Why get yourself pregnant if you just want an abortion though?" Dalvin had pointed out intelligently.
"Long arse story that we don't have time for right now because we gotta go. K-Ci's too emotionally unstable to perform with us right now, so if anyone asks y'all where he is, don't tell him the real reason he's not performing. Just say that he fell sick last minute so therefore he had to bail out."
That was a smart thing to do.
But everything honestly just didn't seem right without K-Ci there.
He would have come later hopefully. He had too. This was his team. They were Jodeci.
Although at the same time, the dude was still processing something really huge. It would have most likely taken him a long time to get over this whole thing, and it did.
So reluctantly, the three of them had yelled We are Jodeci after placing all their hands in the middle with Jojo counting down from three.
Did they tell K-Ci they were going?
No but K-Ci would have probably figured it out.
Why they didn't tell K-Ci?
Because K-Ci would have probably ignored them or yelled at them.
That was why.
And they didn't want to live with that so therefore they just left without him instead.
