JIU SIGHED as she rested her chin on the palm of her hand. she had been working on her mixtape she wanted to release later this year, but it wasn't really working out the way she wanted it to. she had no clue what she wanted to write and what the songs could even be about. at this point she was just scribbling nonsense and doodles in her notebook.

the female was quietly humming the melody of their newest title track 'dna' when a knock on the studio door pulled her eyes away from the notebook. another soft sigh left her lips as she stood up and walked to the door to open it. her eyebrows raised slight when she saw taehyung in the door opening looking at his feet. "taehyung?"

jiu's voice made him look up. "what are you doing here?" she asked, confusion written on her face. the male raised his hand, showing a few sheets of paper, "i need some help with this one song. i have been working on it since early in the morning and i just can't seem to get it right."

"yeah sure, come in." the female's lips curled up into a smile. "i have an extra chair anyway." taehyung cheered a thank you as he sat down in the spare studio chair. "i knew you'd help me."

sliding the sheets of lyric paper in front of her as she sat down jiu raised her brows. "what do you mean? did no one want to help?" her eyes scanned over the current lyrics, waiting for an answer from the figure next to her.

said male let our a sigh, "namjoon and yoongi hyung were working in the studio themselves saying i couldn't interrupt, jimin and hobi hyung are in the dance studio, and honestly, i don't even know where jin hyung and jungkook are." jiu turned to look at him when he finished, "well, that's why you got me."

taehyung smiled at her words, "yeah ... exactly." his eyes stayed on her as she focused back on the lyrics in front of her. there was something about her that made him feel some type of way, but he didn't know what. for some reason, she had him completely in her power.

jimin and hoseok weren't even in the dance studio and he easily could've gone to one of them for his song, but he so desperately wanted to be with jiu. he had been noticing this feeling for quite a while now and it would come back up whenever he saw or thought of her.

"okay so," jiu's voice pulled him away from his thoughts. "what if you change these up?" she glanced up from the lyrics to look at taehyung for a second, her finger pointing at a certain section in the song. "so instead of these three short sentences here," she looked back at the lyrics, moving her finger over the paper. "you put them here."

taehyung let out a hum, keeping his eyes trained on the female next to him. she continued making adjustments to some of the lyrics, telling taehyung what might help him further, but not once did he let his eyes slip away from her side profile.

not noticing she was rambling she got cut off, "jiu." her eyes finally left the sheets of paper in front of her as she was now looking at taehyung instead. "yeah?"

"don't hate me alright?" he looked at her, slightly turning his chair so he was fully facing her. jiu knitted her brows, confused at his words, "why would i hate you? i don't-"

her words got cut off as she felt his lips on hers. for a moment she sat completely frozen, not knowing what to do because of the sudden action. noticing she wasn't reciprocating the kiss, taehyung pulled back. "sorry," he spoke quietly, immediately standing up from his chair.

"i shouldn't have done that." he rushed in gathering the sheets of paper from her desk, seeing her sitting completely still. "i'll go, thank you for helping with the lyrics." he kept his eyes on the ground as he walked towards the door.

jiu's eyes followed his movements, still slightly shocked from what had happened. "taehyung wait," she spoke up, standing up from her chair. her words caused the male to halt in front of the door, turning back to look at her walking towards him, "look, i'm really sorry jiu. i don't know what-"

"shut up." jiu spoke quietly as she stopped in front of him, quickly placing her hands on the back of his neck to pull him closer and crashed her lips onto his. taehyung smiled against her lips, dropping the sheets to the ground to be able to place his hands on her waist and pull her even closer.

after what felt like forever jiu pulled back, resting her forehead against his. "don't say sorry for something i've been waiting on since forever." she laughed softly, earning a chuckle from him as well.
