Y/N FOCUS

a surplus of calls wake Y/N up. Her arm reaches onto her night stand and brings her phone in front of her face. The call stops.

12 missed calls from Zendaya

The woman's eyebrows furrow. WHe would she need to call her that many times.....unless...

Zendaya is calling

Y/N immediately picks up, "Hello?"

Zendaya is frantic, "He's on a flight to you!"

"What?"

"Tom found you. He's on a plane."

Y/N rolls onto her back, staring into the dark abyss of the ceiling, "Motherfucker."

"I wish I could be there." Her voice is soft and genuine.

"It's okay, I'll be able to handle it. I have Jin and Namjoon with me too.  

"Just... Be careful."

"I will be, I promise."

"Okay. I'll let you go back to sleep."

"Have a good evening." Y/N says.

"Goodnight."

Her phone beeps, signaling the call being dropped. Y/N plugs back in her phone and goes back to looking at the ceiling. The past few years have been rough, needing to start a life in Korea, saving up money for her own house, raising her children. She thinks about all the hospital visits, tests, puzzles. Everything that had to do with her two children, her babies. The long nights when Seren wouldn't sleep, when he would play with his toys and watch his sister. The days spent in hospitals, Euphie taken and tested. The days when Seren was being given tests.

She lays in bed thinking, The life she made for herself is going to change very quickly. She'll have plenty of decisions to make. She never falls asleep, her mind and heart racing, thinking of the worst scenarios.

When the sun comes up she gets out of bed, moving herself to the living room and doing some work for a few hours. When Jin wakes up, the two make breakfast together.

"Did you go to sleep last night?" Jin asks, cracking eggs into a frying pan.

"For a few hours." The woman responds, clicking buttons on the rice cooker.

"Your phone kept going off." He says.

"Tom is on his way." Y/N nods.

"Oh." The man breathes. The shower turns on from across the house, Namjoon is awake.

"I don't know what I'm going to do yet." She leans back against the counter, watching Jin cook food.

"We can discuss it as a family if you'd like. Namjoon would do anything for you, you know that."

"I'd like that." She responds.

Namjoon joins the two toward the end of them cooking and then leaves to wake the children up. Y/N and Jin set the table, Seren and Jungkook running in during the process. They're put into their chairs before Namjoon comes in holding Euphie. Y/N takes her daughter from the man, holding her close before setting her down in her chair. The six eat, resembling a real family, because that's what they are.

After breakfast the adults wash the dishes and talk, deciding what to do about the Tom situation. "We could ignore him." Namjoon suggests.

"I think what we really need to think about is whether he deserves the chance to meet the kids." Jin says, scrubbing a dish with soap which is then passed to Namjoon to rinse.

"Let's take everything into account then. They did come from his sp-" Namjoon is cut off by Jin slapping him. "Okay! Okay! Fine. He was a major part of the making process." The dish is passed to Y/N to dry. She silently wipes it dry, listening to the two.

"He also left them and Y/N behind." Jin counters, passing another dish to Namjoon.

"And he took a very long time to look for them all." Namjoon adds, passing the dish to Y/N.

"But, he did go to a lot of effort to find them, showing he really does want to be there for his children." Jin says.

"But is Y/N ready to face that?" The two men look at each other before looking at the woman.

"I don't know..." She softly replies, not looking at the two, trying to keep her tears down.

"I think you should talk to your therapist about it," Jin dries his hands and walks toward the calendar hanging on the wall, "You have a meeting tonight, right?"

"Yeah." She nods, confirming.

"Y/N," Namjoon says, "Why don't you go watch the children, Jin and I can finish the dishes."

She takes a deep breath before turning to look at the two, "Are you sure?"

Jin nods, "Of course."

She leaves to the living room, Jungkook, the son of Namjoon and Jin, sits on he couch with Euphie, watching a cartoon. Seren is below them on the floor, reading an English book.

"Mom," Seren is the first to notice her, "can we practice English?"

"I don't wanna!" Euphie yells, set on watching her cartoon with Jungkook, who stays silent. Euphie didn't like practicing languages, it was Seren who liked learning more.

"We can practice together, Seren." Y/N nods, reaching out her hands for the small boy. He smiles and runs into them, being picked up and carried to the corner of the room. She sets the boy down at the small table before sitting on the ground in front of it. The table would go half way to her knee standing up.

"What do you want to practice?" She asks.

"Speaking." Seren says, grabbing a puzzle from the bookshelf behind them. Whenever Seren practiced speaking a language he liked to do something at the same time.

"Okay." She smiles, watching her son dump out the pieces on the table before throwing the box somewhere. At some point he stopped looking at the covers, wanting to do it with no help. "What do you want to talk about?"

"I'm reading a book." Seren says, picking out end pieces.

"What's it about?" She asks, watching him intently. He was smart, abnormally smart. Euphie couldn't speak nearly as much as him, nor could she do puzzles. Euphie was better at Korean than English, which was normal seeing that's what she's around the most. Seren, though, he was good at both- amazing even. He could read and write well, it was incredible for a three year old.

"Knights."

"What do the knights do?"

"They go on quests that make them confront fears." He finishes collecting all the border pieces and starts to assemble them. Hearing how much attention Seren is getting, Euphie slides off the couch and runs into her mother's lap. "They do what is best for the people around them," Seren looks at his sister, "they're brave."

Euphie watches TV from her mother's lap, not paying attention to much else.

I quite like this chapter, how do you guys feel about it?

I watched a drama recently, "My Holo Love". Honestly I liked it a lot and finished it in under 24 hours... I am not okay. Its about a girl receiving glasses that have an AI in them and becomes a beta tester and then like a bunch of stuff happens. It's pretty good, you should watch it. It's on Netflix. Ive also been watching Haikyu, I'm kind of surprised how much I like it.

Other than that, I've been working on a Namjoon X Reader... I'm not gonna give any spoilers buuuuut, I think it might be the best thing I've ever written not gonna lie. It has a very interesting plot, I love it. I don't know when it's going to be public, I might honestly finish most of it before starting to publish it. And it will probably come out towards the end of this book so that this remains my top priority writing wise.
