CHAPTER ONE: Frosting, Fondant And Jin

You hurry from your apartment carrying the twins cake. You got your door closed, stepped over the neighbors dog and didn't trip on the cat sitting on the steps two floors down.

You made it out of your apartment building with no incidents and are rather proud of yourself.

Smiling you start to turn the corner of your building being very careful as you head to your bakery just a few doors down.

Suddenly you collide with someone. The cake box is smashed against your chest and the cake smears down the front of your dress as it falls.

In what seemed like slow motion you watch it fall. You start to tear up, because it was so much work making the cake with their favorite characters on it.

The box and cake hit the sidewalk just as your heart dropped for the most handsome man you had ever seen standing in front of you reaching to wipe off the front of your dress.

Realizing where his hands would be going you back away.

"I'm sorry, please forgive me." he says as he too realizes what he almost did. "Let me buy you a replacement cake."

You look up into his sweet brown eyes "You can't buy a replacement cake. I made this special, it's one of a kind."

He smiles, "You like to cook?"

You smile back as you take the handkerchief he held out for you to wipe your dress. "Yes, I love cooking but my passion is baking."

He grins broadly, "I love to cook too, by the way my name is Seokjin."

He gives you small bow and you reply "Hi Seokjin. You can call me Sugar, it's a nickname everyone around here knows me by." You blush, "Because I bake sweets"

You start to giggle as you noticed he did not get away unscathed from the cake disaster for there is frosting on the front of his pants with one of the little characters stuck to it right where the zipper is, you blush and had to turn away as you started laughing.

Of all places it just had to get stuck there, you have to put your hand over your mouth to stifle your laughter.

He looks down and blushes a deep red. You hold out his handkerchief to him not looking as he uses what little there is of it that is not already covered in cake and frosting to wipe the front of his pants.

"You can come to my bakery, it's just around the corner and you can use the restroom to clean up if you like."

He sighs "Thanks, I would appreciate that a lot." You enter your shop and he heads to the restroom.

Your best friend Sia, who works with you in the bakery comes out the back with a fresh from the oven rack of cookies. She sees the back of a man enter the restroom and sits the cookie tray down on the counter.

She then notices your dress and exclaims "Oh my what happened." and she grabs a kitchen towel and begins to help you wipe your dress.

"What happened?" then she suddenly grimaces "Oh no, not the twins cake!?"

You frown and reply "Yes, the twins cake. A total loss but with your help I can make another just in time. But I need to quickly run to my apartment to shower, change and grab the extra little characters. You start the cake batter and I will back as soon as I can."

Then you stop and say "Oh no, we don't have time to mix another batter, bake it and let it cool, darn it!"

Your bestie says "Lets use one of the other cakes we already have made and decorate that one instead?"

She sees the man who had just come in walk out from the restroom, "Is that a customer?" and she begins primping and smiling his way.

"NO, that is the man who collided into me smashing the cake."

She starts to glare at him as he is walking to the counter still looking down at his pants.

He looks up and starts to apologize again "I'm sorry for ruining the cake, at least let me pay for it."

CHAPTER TWO: Do You Know Who He Is?

Your best friend is standing there mouth gaping open, she recognized who was standing there, the man who collided with you was none other than World Wide Handsome Jin of the most popular global idol group.

She stands there speechless as you talk with Seokjin.

"It's ok, you don't have to. I was just as much at fault for not paying attention."

You grab your purse to head back to your apartment to change and on the way out he stops you at the door.

"Would you at least let me buy you dinner tonight? I feel so bad for what happened."

You sigh, for as much as you would like to you need to change and rush back to make another cake for the twins birthday party later that day.

"I really need to go home and change and I have to re make the cake. I don't think I will have time for anything else."

He frowns slightly disappointed. He holds the door for you to walk out. "May I come by later and see the finished cake?"

In a hurry you quickly say "Yeah sure that would be fine."

He smiles and as you both walk out the door he goes left as you go right and your bestie goes down onto a stool.

By the time you shower and change Sia is in the kitchen taking the fresh made cakes out of the quick freeze, a trick of the trade to rush cool down a cake.

You call "I'm back!" as you tie an apron over your fresh dress. She turns to you after taking out the last cooled cake layer.

"Surprise!"

You hug her tightly after she put the cake down. "You are the best!!"

She says "I know" and you both laugh.

As you both are turning the cakes out of the pans she says "Do you know who that was today? The man that collided with you?"

Busy unboxing the extra little characters you say "He said his name was Seokjin."

You're sitting the characters up in order they will go on the cake.

You get the fondant out to make little scenes to go on the cake and your air brush to paint backgrounds on them. Your friend grabs your arms and turns you facing her.

"Sia what the.. ?"

She says excitedly "That was JIN! World Wide Handsome Jin!"

Stunned you just look at her. What she said was unbelievable. "What? Are you sure?"

Sia says "Yes. I'm sure, I have his posters up in my room and I would recognize him anywhere."

You drop onto the kitchen stool at the counter in shock. "It was Jin? I, I didn't recognize him. I was so embarrassed over the cake and upset for the twins that it didn't register. I never thought to run into him any where."

Later that day with the help of your bestie the twins cake is ready for delivery and you are about to close shop for the day.

You smile at her and say "It turned out even better than when I first made it, thanks to your help."

You smile at each other and she says "And thanks to Jin."

You look at her confused, "Thanks to him? How? He crushed it."

She laughs, "If it hadn't been for fate causing you two to run into each other you wouldn't have needed to make another cake."

You both laugh. "Yeah, I think you're right. I thought he would come back to see the cake, he said he wanted to."

Your bestie says "Well, he is a very busy idol probably couldn't make it back."

You pick up the box with the cake in it and say "Ok, here I go, lets hope the cake and I both make it this time."

You both laugh and then hear the little bell over the door jingle, you both look and there he is smiling.

"I see I made it just in time. May I see the cake?"

You slightly blush as your bestie grins at you. You sit the box on the table and open it.

He steps closer to look inside and you softly close your eyes and gently inhale his cologne.

Without knowing it you said "MmmMMm."

He looks up at you "Did you say something?"

Embarrassed you blush and say "Oh, um the cake smells. . ." you lean in close to the cake and say "Yummy, it smells yummy."

Your best friend is laughing so hard she headed back to the kitchen the door swinging behind her.

CHAPTER THREE:  Love Is . . . Cooking

After taking a closer look at the cake he says "That looks fantastic, your artwork is beautiful."

You smile at him "Thank you."

He grins at you "May I walk with you to where you're taking the cake?"

Surprised he would ask you say "You can if you want to, do you have an extra change of clothes just in case."

He laughs with you, "I'm sure we will get there in one piece and the cake too."

It was then you noticed he had changed clothes too. He must be staying near by.

You wonder if the others are here too. You didn't recall there being a concert, Sia would have made sure you knew about it, constantly. You softly smile thinking about her love of the group.

You start to pick the cake box up and he takes it from your hands "Let me carry it for you."

You smile and head towards the door to hold it open for him. "Thank you. We don't have very far to walk."

Your best friend pops her head out of the kitchen doorway "Take your time. I will close up tonight."

You and Jin start talking about cooking and baking on the way. You explained to him that this cake was special.

The little twins were turning five and they always came to your shop on Saturday for a mini cup cake with their dad since they were two.

They were the sweetest little boys and they always gave you a frosted kiss on the cheek as a thank you. You smile as you tell him about the little twins.

You reach the restaurant that their dad owns and when you enter it is set up for a birthday party in a private section of the restaurant.

You enter and see the twins, they come running forward laughing and calling "Uncle, Uncle" and head straight for Jin.

With a look of surprise on your face that he is their Uncle you just stare. They dance around him as he tries to dodge them without dropping the cake.

"Stob, stob!" he laughs.

Their dad, your very good friend, rushes forward to take the cake from him. You and Jin follow him into the decorated room. He places the cake down and unboxes it.

"This is exactly what they wanted." He turns to you smiling "Thank you. This is perfect."

You smile as his wife comes up and looks at the cake with the boys. "Oh Sugar, you out did yourself. This is perfect, absolutely perfect. I love it."

She hugs you and tells you again "Thank you."

 She uses your pet name of Sugar that some of your clients and friends  nicknamed you not long after you opened your bakery shop called 'Sugar Sweet Bakery'

The twins are excited over the cake wanting to play with the little characters. Their dad tells them "Not now my little men. We need everyone else to get here to see it too." he smiles lovingly at his sons.

His wife looks at you then Jin and says to you "Oh, I'm sorry let me introduce you to my brother in law Kim Seokjin"

You smile brightly at her "We've met, quite by accident." you start to laugh and so does Jin.

"Yes, we did. Completely by accident." and he smiles at you.

Sensing a good story she grins and asks, "Oh tell me, tell me."

She noticed the spark in Jin's eyes when he looked at you and she could tell you were smitten with him.

She smiles at you and says "You must join us for dinner tonight."

You look undecided and Jin takes your hand in his and says "Please, I would like it very much if you did." You smile at him.

She says "Good it's settled then."

She takes you by the arm and whispers as she leads you away from the others, "So tell me."

You laugh and explain the whole cake accident and just where one of the little characters ended up. She bursts out laughing and you can't help but to join in.

Smiling knowingly she is hoping the next special cake to be made will be a wedding cake.

She knows you and Jin have a lot in common and like her and her husband, cooking was the binding ingredient to their marriage.

Just then the door opens and you can't believe it, the others are here. Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook. Soon followed by Namjoon, J Hope and Yoongi.

You think to yourself, Sia would faint dead away of a heart attack if she was here.

You quickly texted her

My baker boss - Remember the invite you got for the twins birthday party?

Sia - yeah, what about it? you know I don't like kiddie parties

My baker boss - well, get your butt down here. They are ALL here!

Sia - OMG no waaaa *crash thud*

My baker boss - Sia?

My baker boss - Sia you there?

My baker boss - when you pick your self up off the floor get over here!! lol

Jin comes over to you. "Is everything alright? You look worried."

You smile at his concern for you, "Yes, everything is fine."

He smiles his brilliant smile and asks, "Would you mind talking a walk with me after the party? The moon promises to be beautiful tonight, though not half as beautiful as you." 

You blush and place your hand on his arm, "I would love too."

You both go back to the party his sister in law smiling as you come in arm in arm. 

You don't think you have ever enjoyed your own cake more than tonight for you feel it brought you love.
