CHAPTER ONE: Body Slam

Faster than you can scream both of your lines cross and your bodies slam into each other. Your boat veered off causing you to head right to the other skier. Your world went black.

Jungkook in shock pops to the surface of the water, gasping, choking, looking around in a panic for the girl he slammed into.

His boat has turned around and is coming back, the other boat seemed to picked up speed and heads off.

Jungkook can't believe it, "What the fuck, they're running."

Jungkook is frantically looking for you. The water has settled enough he catches a glimpse of flowers and he swims to you, but it's only a bikini top.

He shakes his head in disbelief and even more frantically looks for you. You are floating only a short distance away but not moving. Out of fear that you may not have survived the impact he quickly pulls you to him. He blushes profusely as it was your bikini top he found.

He is keeping your upper body covered by the water. "Are you ok?" he gently shakes you, "Are you alright, can you hear me?"

You think, 'Maybe if I just play dead he'll go away.'

Then you think 'that is the stupidest thing you have ever thought of. Well, other than jumping off a cliff to parasail that one time in Kauai Hawaii.

To Jungkook's great relief you open your eyes and cross your arms over your chest you think to yourself 'Shit, why does everything happen to me? This is why you should always wear a life vest no matter how good you think you are, you stupid girl.'

You are looking around for your top. You prefer to swim nude but only at your secluded lake at home so this is just ridiculous to you and you start softly laughing. He notices you are looking around.

He knew what you were looking for and he grins a evil bunny smile and holds up your bikini top.

"Are you looking for this?"

You laugh and snatch it from his hands, "Yes, thank you."

You try to look beneath the water, "Did you happen to lose anything?" You grin mischievously at him.

He laughs, "No, I have everything I came into the water with."

Grinning mischievously he asks, "Do you need help getting your top back on?"

You can't put it back on one of the stings is broken. So you hold the material to your chest as you both keep treading water to stay above the water line. You both laugh then you found it hurt to laugh and grimace, you stop.

The longer you are treading water it starts to get harder to breath.

Silly, you know, but is it because the most gorgeous man you have ever seen has taken your breath away or are you hurt.

Seeing your grimace he starts to ask, "What's wrong are you . . ."

His boat captain and crew pull up at a safe distance. His Captain calls out, "Mr. Jeon are you ok, is the girl ok!?"

One of the crew is about to jump out of the boat, Jungkook yells, "Grab one of my t-shirts."

She replies "Got it!" and after grabbing a shirt she jumps in the water swimming towards you and Jungkook.

You think you might have a broken rib as it is getting harder to breath and the longer you keep treading water the more out of breath you feel.

You look at him as your world slowly goes dark around you. The last thing you see is his handsome face. The last thing you remember is thinking 'Such a cute bunny smile . . .'

CHAPTER TWO:  Is Love At First Sight Real?

Jungkook has taken you in his arms keeping your head above water. He gently strokes your cheek, "Hey, open your eyes, look at me."

Your eyes start to flutter open you whisper, 'Can't, catch, my, breath."

Just as the crew member reached Jungkook she takes in the situation and slips the t-shirt on you with the help of Jungkook, who was gentleman enough to keep his eyes adverted as he kept your head above water.

Still dazed you cough and he turns you to your side. You roll back to him and hold on to him. It feels easier to breath on this side, plus it was nice having him to hold on to.

"It's easier to breath on this side." you tell him.

The crew member who brought you a shirt helped Jungkook get you to the boat and the captain and others helped lift you in. You thought you were going to pass out from the pain.

Jungkook asks "What happened?"

You are trying to take a breath, "My Captain's wife . . . went into early labor . . . just . . ." You take in a shallow breath, "as we were readying the boat . . . to leave. The first mate, his brother . . . took over for him."

As you were talking Jungkook's Captain had already been in touch with the Coast Guard, he comes to where you two are and sits.

"Miss, They found the boat and the driver several miles down. Thankfully the boat ran out of gas and came to a stop on its own. When the coast guard got there he was slumped over the wheel."

"Oh no is he dead?" You fearfully ask.

"No ma'am, but he was unconscious. He's in a diabetic coma and on his way to the hospital."

Jungkook suddenly realized he didn't know your name once the Captain called you Miss.

"Um, This is Captain Kim and his first mate, Soo." He points to his captain and the woman who came out to help you.

You smile, "Hello . . . . thank you . . .for help . . .helping me"

Jungkook looks to you with concern then introduces himself, "I'm Jeon Jungkook, but um, you can call me Kooki."

You whisper out, "Kooki, so . . .cute."

He didn't know if you meant the name was cute or he was, but is hoping you think he is.

"My name . . is Keilani, but you can call . . .me Lani."

Jungkook looks at you warmly, "That's a beautiful name. Are you from the one of the islands."

The captain and his first mate turn away trying to hide their smiles at seeing Jungkook blush.

You smile, "Yes, Maui . . .you . . . Jungkook?"

"Seoul, South Korea." You smile at him.

"My mom was from Seoul . . .my father is . . . Hawaiian."

You stop to try and get some good breaths in, "dammit..."

You gently keep you arms across you chest as it hurts to take a full breath. "I think I have . . . a broken . . .rib or or . . .two."

Jungkook takes you back in his arms holding you against him the way that you felt you could breath best, before being pulled out of the water. Plus he liked how you felt pressed against him.

He holds you as the boat picks up speed to get to the waiting ambulance. Seeing you continue to grimace he gently pulls you a little snugger to him, in case your ribs were broken his holding you this way may provide some relief from the rocking of the boat.

They get to the marina dock and an ambulance is waiting for you. The paramedics rush on board and help to take you to the ambulance. Jungkook stays by your side.

"Mr. Kim, " Jungkook calls back to his boat captain, "Have a car pick me up later at the hospital will you?"

"Sure thing Mr. Jeon."

He rides in the back of the ambulance with you holding your hand. The warmth of his hand makes you feel all glittery inside as if your body is tingling with sparks. 'Maybe it's a brain injury instead of broken ribs,' you think chiding yourself for feeling this way.

You aren't scared of going to the hospital, goodness you have been in enough scrapes and had enough bumps and bruises on many of your physically challenging adventures that the emergency room staff and you are on first name basis, they are like family.

You think to yourself, 'Doctor Mia isn't going to be happy to see me so soon.'

You think, 'Especially not after that last time when he said to see if I could go at least 3 months without a visit to the emergency room. Here it is only one month since you last went for a dislocated shoulder from sky diving. How were you to know there would be a sudden down burst of wind?'

Jungkook is riding across from you holding your hand. He hasn't taken his eyes off you. He thinks, 'Is there such a thing as love at first sight, because if there is, is this how it feels?'

CHAPTER THREE: Kooki Overboard!

After getting out of the hospital you stayed at your parents to recover. You and Jungkook stayed in touch. You made plans to go to Seoul to stay with your Grandmother and be closer to him.

She knew all about your Kooki and even though your parents didn't want you mingling with a global idol, your grandmother was thrilled. Her best friend had been Taehyung's grandmother.

Once you moved to Seoul Jungkook would come see you or have a car pick you up. You got to meet the others and they welcomed you to their inner circle.

On his free weekend, you were looking forward to skiing as he promised. But you noticed that he was so tired from the night before. They had finished a concert and he had taken you back with him to his hotel room. That morning you were to go out on the boat.

It was a beautiful day for skiing but it looked like the previous day, and night, were catching up to him.

"Baby, wake up." you giggle at Kooki.

He tilts his head and opens his eyes giving you an evil bunny smile as he pulls you to him. He whispers in your ear, "Thought I was sleeping did you? I was daydreaming about last night."

You blush and sigh. He takes your hand and pulls you over to sit, "I have something for you baby." he pulls a small gift bag out from under the little pile of dry towels.

You grin, you had no idea he had hidden anything. Soo looks at you and smiles as she goes stands beside the Captain as he steers the boat out into open water.

You open the small gift bag and look inside. You start laughing.

"Are you kidding me!?" You pull out a new bikini just like the one you were wearing the day you two met by accident.

He leans close to you whispering, "I want to see you in it."

"You mean now?"

He laughs and pulls you across his lap. "Yes, now. Go put it on for me baby."

You go below deck and changed out of your more modest swimsuit and into the new bikini.

While you are changing Jungkook sits on the edge of the upper deck thinking about you in the bikini. He is enjoying the warmth of the sun on his body and the image of your body next to his that morning.

By the time you come out and see where he is you thought, 'Is he sleeping for real this time?'

He sure looks like he has fallen asleep sitting up. From what you have seen being with the members they can fall asleep anywhere in almost any position, even standing up. You have seen Yoongi and Jimin do it during rehearsals.

You approach him quietly in case he is sleep, not wanting to startled him and have he fall over board.

"Baby, wake up." He doesn't move and you smile as you hear a soft little snore.

You step closer and lay a hand on his knee, "Kooki? Wake up baby." Still nothing. You look around the boat and Soo grins making a pushing motion with her hands.

The boat had stopped and you and Jungkook were to ski today, he promised. You turn to Kooki thinking 'this is your last chance bunny.'

"Baby . . . Kooki, wake up, I want to ski. You promised." He licks his lips as he mumbles in his sleep but you don't understand what he said.

You press your lips together and make a decision, you waited two weeks to go skiing and he promised. You wont get another chance like this for a while because of his up coming concert tour.

You have perfected his cute evil bunny smile and gently push him over board. 

CHAPTER FOUR: Swept Away By Love

The push woke him up and he tries to grab you as he heads towards the water.

Leaning over the railing you pretend shock, "Are you ok baby? I will save you!" you jump in cannon ball style and send a wave over him.

You pop up laughing and he is coming towards you. He is grinning mischievously with a gleam in his eyes.

"Lost something again baby girl?"

Suddenly you realize you have lost your top!! 'Oh shit, not again!'

You start to back away and he advances swimming faster.

"No Kooki, stop." You are frantically looking for your top. He reaches you and pulls you into his arms kissing you.

'To hell with the bikini top' you start kissing him back passionately.

He lifts his head from trailing kisses down your neck, "Lani, the ocean and chance brought us together two years ago today. Do you remember?"

You smile, "I remember Kooki."

"Have I told you how much I love you?" He looks deeply into your eyes.

"Every day, with your touch, your words and how you care for me, the way you look at me, like now."

He says, "Sometimes I feel I am being swept away by the strength of my love for you."

He looks tenderly into your eyes, "I love you."

He softly kisses your lips, "If you will have me for better or worse, rocking climbing or bungie jumping . . ."

You stop his words with a kiss and say, "For cliff diving or parasailing . . ."

With a passion filled voice he asks,, "Have you ever made love in the ocean?"

Your body trembles at the thought and you shake your head.

With smoldering need he asks, "Would you like to?"

You kiss him and against his wet lips you say, "Yes."

The Captain and Soo were on the opposite side of the boat discussing the weather for their next cruise out. Soo suddenly starts to laugh and points, "Well there goes her top."

a few minuets later the Captain laughs saying, "And there goes his swim trunks."

"Grab the T's and shorts Soo and toss them over, but take your time."

She grins knowingly and very slowly walks to the cabin below.

Leaning on the rail looking out across the ocean he thinks, 'ah love, wasted on the young' and he starts thinking of Soo. Though they have both been married before, her divorced and with a teenage son and himself being widowed these past five years, he knew he was in love with her.

He thinks to himself 'We both aren't getting any younger. I should confess to her how I feel.'

After tossing over the clothes to them she goes back to the Captain.

"Job done my Captain." she cheekily says giving him her prettiest smile as she salutes him.

"Have I told you how much I lo . . .. I appreciate you. You are the best first mate I've ever had."

Soo sighs and thinks 'Does he know just much I love him?'

They both walk over to the side of the boat and lean side by side on the rail smiling and watching you and Jungkook swimming and laughing in the ocean.

He softly asks, "Have you ever made love in the ocean?"

She shakes her head. He asks, "Would you like to?"

She feels his hand gently cover hers and she whispers, "Yes."

Later that night while you and Jungkook, with his hyungs are celebrating your engagement at your grandmothers, the Captain and Soo had taken his private boat out and celebrated their own love . . . in the ocean.
