"Officer, I can wait outside... I-I don't want to bother you anymore." Jimin told the officer who frowned looking at the father, he glanced at Jungmin who is in Jimin's embrace, his face is hidden in Jimin's neck as the boy is glued to his father like a koala.

Jimin looked tired as he was carrying the boy since he found him in the bathroom, the boy refused to let go of his father. Jimin was devastated after finding Jungmin with the help of the officer he has thanked him countless times. Jungkook tried to take Jungmin in his arms but to his dismay the boy didn't pull away from Jimin not even for a second. After they both had calmed down Jungkook took them with him after ordering the manager about things which Jimin picked from the food store to deliver at his adress. They stood outside Jungkook's luxurious apartment, which is just beside Hoseok. Hoseok and Taehyung haven't arrived yet and Jungkook offers Jimin to come to his house and get some rest but the stubborn father refuses, he didn't want to create more problems for the officer.

Jungkook sighed heavily. "As per my calculations it will take them 2-3 hours." Jungkook lied, they are already inside their house. But you can't blame Jungkook. "I can understand if you feel uncomfortable with me, umm... I can reserve a hotel room for you, for some hours." The officer suggested knowing Jimin will definitely deny.

Jimin shook his head. "Officer Jeon, 'uncomfortable' is the last thing I feel around you... It's just that I don't want to burden you with my problems, you have already helped so much." A tear slipped from Jimin's eyes as he looked at the officer.

Jungkook's heart clenched, he let him emotions overtake and pulled Jimin to his chest wrapping his arms around Jimin's waist as he looked at the boy in Jimin's arms. He stopped himself to dig his nose in Jimin's neck and cry like a child.

He has missed him so much.

While the smaller was shocked for a moment, but a warmth which he never felt crawls in his chest.

Why does it feel so familiar?

Why does it feel like he is being in those arms before too?

Why does it feel like he meant to be there?

Jungkook patted his head as they pulled away. "Don't think like that, If I feel burdened I would never help. But I like to help you, you are my responsibility... I mean as a police officer, it's my duty to keep yo- everyone safe."

Jimin's smile reached to his eyes as he thanked the officer.

Somewhere in his heart he knows that it's not the only reason why the Officer is helping him.

"Thank you Officer Jeon." Jimin mumbled as he bit his lips.

"Should we go in?" Jungkook asked as unlocked the door.

Jimin looked hesitant but nonetheless nodded his head.
