B A C K G R O U N D

Originally, I wanted this to be a piece of digital art featuring the sister of my main character, Marlene Rae. She was meant to be running on a forest path through the woods with pine trees rustling on either side of her, the moon above and a lamp glowing through the foliage far ahead. Vera's hair should be a thick honey-gold, her curls a tumbling mess. 

Because this is my first digital art, it didn't work out quite the way I expected! She reminds me a bit of Alice in Wonderland...
