You ever heard the quote

That's us.
Your eyes were level with the skyline
And when the sun came up that night,
They were a good enough sunrise for me.
We didn't have anything stopping us.
We kept running,
Shouting our tragic philosophies from the rooftops
We swear we ruled.
We kept saying we were infinite. I still believe it.
Even when I cried in my closet that night
Because I screwed it up again,
I never felt this alone.
You see,
Love is the last thing I need after you,
But deep down,
I want to just be told it's going to be okay.
And believe it.
I want to believe it all
Recklessly.
I still can't figure out why we fell apart.
We had the fucking stars aligned!
