Donghyuck hums to himself, thanking the vendor whom he was buying fresh strawberries from. "And tell your mother I said hi Donghyuck!"

Waving, the boy nods. "Will do! Thanks again, Mr. Yang!" He turns fully, jumping in surprise as he came face to face with that same boy from last week.

"Oh, I'm sorry Donghyuck." Mark blinks and steps back a bit.

Donghyuk narrows his eyes. "I'm surprised someone who can't keep track of their grandfather can remember a stranger's name."

Mark's eyes widen and a strong blush covers his cheeks. "I- Well-" Donghyuck raises a brow, cockily waiting for the boy to answer him. In the end, Mark settles with just shutting his mouth, making Donghyuck let out a beautiful laugh.

"Ah, you're so cute, Mark." He smiles, a teasing glint in his eyes as he looks at the boy in front of him. "Anyways, Mr. I-lost-my-grandpa, I need to get back to my house." He walks by Mark, who was still in a bit of a daze. He places a hand on the boy's shoulder, whispering lowly in his ear. "You're so cute when you blush," Donghyuck smirks and pulls away, walking back down the cobblestone road to his home.

As soon as the tanned male leaves, Mark lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding. It's only been a week and he's only met Donghyuck twice but already the boy was doing wonders to his heart. The snarky attitude only intrigued Mark further. There was just something so captivating about Lee Donghyuck that Mark couldn't help but to crumble at his feet. He'd only met the boy twice, but he prayed to every god he knew, that they would have many more encounters. There was just something about Donghyuck that Mark felt he had to keep the boy's attention on him. And only him.

"How was town today?" Donghyuck's mother asks as soon as he enters the house.

"It was nice. Mr. Yang says hi." He takes off his sandals, leaving them by the door and walking into the kitchen. "I ran into that boy again as well."

"The one you called 'cute'?"

"Mhm." Donghyuck nods, taking the strawberries out from his basket. "He keeps appearing around town even though he's supposed to be helping his grandfather."

Mrs. Lee takes the strawberries, immediately washing them in the sink. "Who's his grandpa?"

"Old  Man Lee."

"Ahh..." Mrs. Lee hums in understanding. Mr. Lee, or Old Man Lee as many called him, was a good family friend of Donghyuck and his mother. They were very close to the older man. "I didn't know he had a grandson."

"Me neither."

"Is he nice?"

Donghyuck takes a moment to think, his body now on top of the counter, and his legs swinging freely. "He's....interesting."

"In a good way?"

Donghyuck smiles widely. "Oh definitely in a good way."

Mark enters his grandfather's house, smiling when he sees the old man fast asleep on the couch. He takes his basket of food into the kitchen and begins to take out a few things to prepare for dinner. It was a beautiful summer night, and the radio was playing 'Be Mine' by Lance Fortune. It was a family favorite in Mark's house, and his parents were always playing it. He liked it a lot, it always made him think of true love, which he assumed was the purpose of the whole song.

He smiles and softly sings along, prepping dinner for him and his grandfather.
