I'm back with another Chapter!! In this we meet Paul and Drew. But sorry this chapter only has contestshipping at the end. And the pic on top, is my version of Lilycove City.

October 1, 2021, at 4:23 pm

"Do you both like shopping?" May asked, munching on her chocolate ice-cream, which she had just bought.

"It's one of my most favourite hobbies!" Dawn exclaimed excitedly, licking her strawberry flavoured ice-cream.

"Yup, mine too" Serena agreed, while paying for her ice-cream.

"Well then, how about we go to the Lilycove Central Mall to buy you both new outfits, since your both beginning new journeys? Also your outfits don't really suit Hoenn's climate" May suggested, referring to the blazing sun that shone down at them.

"Sure, a new journey means a new outfit!" Dawn declared.

"I agree, but May aren't you going to get a new outfit for yourself?" Serena questioned.

"Oh, I'm already wearing my new outfit, my mum made it for me! For my birthday with was just some time ago" May replied.

"Ohh okay, then let's go shopping!" Serena cried out.

May smiled at the younger girl's antics and and started taking some steps backwards "Alright then, you both follow me!" she exclaimed and started running on the sidewalk.

"Right behind ya!" Dawn called out, running behind May.

"Hey! You guys! Wait for me!" Serena laughed and started running too.

The girls laughed and ran, calling out to each other, unbeknown to them two pairs of eyes were watching their movements.(AN-BTW The girls started running after they finished their ice-creams) 

'What's that girl doing here?' The boy with dark black eyes thought.

'May's in Lilycove too?' The older looking boy with light green eyes thought.

These eyes belonged to two boys of 14 and 13 age respectively. Drew was the name of the 14 year old boy, with light green eyes and hair. And the other guy's name was Paul. They both were good friends through their families. And since Paul had arrived in Hoenn, to collect gym badges and participate in the Hoenn league, Drew took it upon himself to accompany Paul on his journey since Hoenn was his home region. 

Right now both of them were on their way to Route 122, which would take them to Route 123, which eventually would take them to Route 118 and Mauville City, where Paul would challenge the city's gym. It was then they had seen the girls across the street from them on the other sidewalk, giggling and chasing each other.

Paul saw the distant look in his friend's eyes and questioned "Do you know those girls?"

"Only the brown-haired one, you seem to know one of them too" Drew replied(a/n he wasn't able to see dawn properly so didn't recognize her)

"Well, I sort of know the dark-blue haired one, I think she was the troublesome girl that was travelling with that Ash" Paul replied.

"Oh"  was Drew said before he saw a different look in Paul's eyes, while he was watching the blunette.

A smirk quickly found it's way onto Drew's lips as he commented "Do you like her?" 

Paul was caught a bit off-guard by the question, 'I should have known, Drew didn't change that much' was what he thought "No, of course not" he replied flatly.

"Well who knows, we might cross paths with them" Drew retorted back.

"Hnn" Paul just shrugged and observed the City more.

Drew shook his head at Paul's actions, 'He didn't change much', 'Well since I'm going to travel with Paul, I should tell May that I won't be seeing her in a while' Drew thought to himself, during his and May's Johto and Sinnoh travels the two became close with each other and became best friends. The last time Drew had seen her was on her birthday, September 20, in Petalburg, so he was surprised to find her here in Lilycove with(whom he assumed) her friends.

'But how should I get some private time to tell her that' he thought. Then suddenly an idea popped into his mind. 

"Hey Paul, don't you think we should get some food? It's 4:30 pm " Drew asked. It had been a good amount of time since they had lunch, so Paul should be hungry, Drew had figured.

"Ok, where should we go?" Paul asked back.

"There's WcDonalds right next to Lilycove Central Mall, we should go there" Drew answered, he had seen May and her friends go in the direction of the Mall, so if he wanted to meet May he had to go somewhere in that direction.

Paul shrugged and replied "Sure lead the way"

Drew smiled and lead him to the Cafe.

Meanwhile with the girls...At 4:45pm

"Here's the Lilycove Central Mall!" May exclaimed, motioning to the large building:

Both Dawn and Serena were panting with their hands on their knees, but as soon as the saw the mall, they promptly brightened up.

"Wow! I can't wait to shop in here!" Serena said.

Dawn agreed with her "I know right! And this Mall is huge they'll be so many shops!"

May giggled and replied "Well then what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

"Great! Let's go!" Dawn cried and ran into the mall, with May following her.

Serena, however stayed outside a bit longer and turned around to see the path they had taken to get to the mall..

May had said that this was the main shopping arcade of the city, and Serena had fallen in love with it, once May saw the dreamy look in Serena's eyes she said that they both along with Dawn can go shopping there too, when both Serena and Dawn head this, they happily agreed.

"This shopping arcade looks so pretty at sunset!" Serena said to herself.

"Oh wait, I should follow Dawn and May inside, I'll have more time to explore the arcade" she reminded herself and followed May and Dawn.

Sometime after Serena went in the Mall, Drew and Paul arrived in front of McDonalds.

"You go ahead, get us a table and order, Paul. I have to call someone" Drew said.

Paul raised an eyebrow in suspicion, but nodded and went in.

Drew walked into the mall's entry corridor and took out his phone to text May. (This is their text conversation)

Drew: Hey May

May: Hi Drew, what's up

Drew: You're at Lilycove Central Mall right?

May: How did you know?

Drew: I have my ways, anyway can you meet me in the entry lobby of the mall right now?

May: Sure, what for?

Drew: I'll tell you once you come here.

May: Okay, I'm coming.

Drew put his phone in his pocket and leaned on the wall behind him. A few minutes later May came.

"So what is it that you wanted to tell me Drew?" was the first thing she said.

"What? no hello, how are you?" Drew mocked.

May rolled her eyes and giggled at him "Okay, Hello Drew, how are you?" 

Drew chuckled and replied "I'm just fine. You?"

"I'm great too, now would please spill the beans? As much as I'd like to spend time with you, I can't keep my friends waiting for long" May replied.

"Okay, okay I wanted you to know that you won't be seeing me for a while, since I'm going to accompany a friend of mine, in his journey through out Hoenn" Drew said.

"Ohh I see, but y'know, we might actually meet again" May says with a cheeky smile on her face.

Drew blinked "Huh? he asked confused.

"Well, you see I'm going on a journey in Hoenn along with two of my friends, who aren't from here too" May explained.

May's sentence brings a grin to Drew's face "Well, then we're bound to see each other again" he says.

"Mhm" May hums back in response.

And then the awkwardness welcomed itself as neither of them utter a word and just stare at each other.

"W-well uh goodbye I guess?" May said unsure.

"Yeah, goodbye to you too" Drew responded back.

"Let's call each other every night or at least call each other when we reach a city or town and if possible meet up too okay?" May asked with a blush on her face.

"Wow April, I didn't know that you would miss me that much" Drew teases her with smirk.

May huffs and turns away, ready to go, she is however stopped dead in her tracks when she feels Drew hugging her from behind.

Drew bends down to put his face on her shoulder "Aww come on June, I was just teasing ya, you and I both know that we will miss each other a lot" his breath tickles her neck, making her face flush.

"Y-yeah, so we will call each other right?" May askes with her face still flushed.

"Yep" Drew replies.

May then turns and wraps her arms around Drew's neck and buries her face on his shirt's collar. Drew wraps his arms around May's waist and hugs her back. Then after some time they break the hug and Drew tosses a red rose to May, who giggles and catches it effortlessly.

"Well then, goodbye May" Drew says.

"Yeah goodbye Drew" May says back. Then with one last wave both of them leave the lobby to go to their respective places.

I had already written this chapter, so that's why I was able to post this chappie. Anyways till 15 you won't be having an update on any of my books. Since currently my 10 marks exams are going on and then I have to travel for a wedding and then there's my birthday too...so I won't be free till 17. I'm really sorry, but that's why I posted this chapter so that you guys can enjoy something. So in next chapter, let's see how the girls are going to enjoy shopping, they might also meet the boys.
