Do they mean anything without the proper manifestation of emotion? Do you think simply stringing a few words together holds the power of truth or a genuine feeling?

Both Taehyung and Jungkook didn't need the comfort of those words to assure or be the evidence of their feeling towards each other.

Without knowing, the raven head has slowly given bits of his own soul away each time he came across the silver head. Being a soulless demon with evil nature, he was still cracked by the light when Taehyung appeared as pure as the first snow on a winter day.

Taehyung on the other hand never knew the destiny that laid ahead of him. For all the silver head realized was the strong attraction towards the demon from the day they accidentally met each other in the basement library.

No one knew, not even the Divine on the journey of these two souls and how they would choose to end the battle between the dark and light, the demons and the angels.

Today, at this very moment, both the lovers chose each other, and that marks the end of the battle, in a very unusual and unexpected way.

As they stare into each other's eyes with a newfound love and longing, Taehyung broke into his innocent boxy grin, feeling the jitters in his tummy on all the new possibilities he will have with Jungkook by his side.

"How is Taehyung going to live a human life after dying as one?"

Jimin, always being the curious cat in the group felt glad about the choice that Taehyung made, meaning he got to be with his soul friend until they grew old and grey.

"You are indeed a curious little one." The Divine's voice carried a hint of a chuckle as he allowed the couple to settle their love suckle emotion whilst holding onto each other so dearly.

"I mean...I'm happy he is human again but it is not easy for Taehyungie to keep transitioning like this. He even lost his earth parents when he returned." Jimin said.

"You need not worry Jimin, our Divine is always fair and understanding. He is full of compassionate and love. Taehyung is our heaven's child, we will never forsake one of our own." Archangel Jin spoke after the blond's concern.

"But-..." Jimin was cut off by the Divine's command.

"For we all have witnessed the greatest battle in the history being won today with nothing but the pure and innocent love between the angel and demon. At the end of the day, it came down to who we choose to be. Jungkook chose himself and Taehyung chose to be Jungkook's."

Taehyung scrunched his brows, understanding but also not full comprehending where is this statement heading to.

"As the heavenly realm always practices the goodwill of choice and fairness, I hereby, as the Divine of the realms would like to give an option. A chance, a way for the rest of you to amend your wrongdoings and the option to choose."

All the remaining presence in the Garden of Nem stood confused and dazzled. What kind of option and choices are we talking about?

"By the Divine, seek my apology in advance, but I have no idea what you just said and meant by that, it did not speak sense to me." Angel Hope bowed in guilt as he couldn't understand the command from the Divine.

"Yea, like what the heck are you saying?" Yoongi followed.

"I am giving you, Lucifer and even my Archangels a chance to choose. Just like the option I have given to the lovers standing hand in hand right in front of us."

Suddenly, half of the crowd became more aware of their own heart beating, a little out of rhythm as their hearts escalated with the sudden presentation of the offer. While some stood rooted on their feet, unconscious of their twitching hands and widen mouth.

"By the Divine, pardon me but this is ridicu-..."

"Archangel Jin, are you questioning my command?" the Divine spoke in an utmost calmness, in which the Highest Archangel Jin bowed rapidly, feeling sorry for the comment he was about to make.

"When Taehyung and Jungkook made their decision so selflessly, they opened the portal of opportunity for the rest of you as well. The pair have restored the balance, making everything into zero, scaling the good and bad like the yin and yang. They gave you all the option of choices as well."

"What goes around, comes around." Jimin's tiny smile was enough to warm Taehyung's heart as he saw his soul friend still keeping up with all the crazy sights and info about the unearthly business.

"I choose human life."

Jimin turned his head to the owner of the voice, noticing it was no one but the icy blond who he grew fond of despite the ugly truth of his demon guard identity.

"YOONGI! You're my best demon guard!" Lucifer's anger doubled, not only his own son chose to ignore the reality of being a Demon King, but his own trusted demon guard for centuries is choosing a mundane life too.

All for what? For a simple pathetic reason of being in love?

"You heard me, I want to be a human. I lived my life as a demon for all I know. I want to live as a human. I want to feel love." Yoongi's voice was low but heaps of sincerity masking it from breaking down.

Jimin's eyes quiver with warm tears, although he can't be sure the demon guard chose this path for him, deep down, he knows that Yoongi meant something to him and he will always be.

"Your choice will be fulfilled on the same note as the others, you shall no longer carry the power and ability as a demon guard, your wings will be striped and you shall resume your life as a human on earth."

Yoongi bowed gently as he felt to the core of his bone, a chill sensation taking over, replaced with a rush of warmth, pleasing his soul as he hears his heartbeat for the first time, not with hatred or evil but with love and care.

Jimin turned his gaze next to Hobi. The blond saw the Angel of Hope twisting his fingers in and out with a confused look on his face. Is he contemplating?

"Hobi." Jimin called out just below his breath but the soft brown head immediately looked up, catching the eye of the blond.

Jimin offered him a sad smile, in a way selfishly hoping that Hobi will choose the same path as Yoongi. Was he being extremely greedy with the need and want of two men by his side? Yes, he was.

"I chose..." Hobi trailed off, sneaking a look at Yoongi who was already intensely staring at him with his lower lip between his teeth, a few feet away from him.

"...the heavenly realm."

Jimin's heart sank.

Yoongi released the bite on his lower lip, left out a gush of a sigh as he ran his fingers through his hair. He lost the Hope on earth.

"Archangel Hope, are you sure of your decision for once taken, it can't be undone under any circumstances." The Divine spoke, sensing the tension between the shaken trio.

"Yes, Divine. I am sure. I have chosen to stay with the light, I will guard the realm and remain with my decision."

"Why Hobi? I thought...I thought we-..." Jimin's tear of joy from Yoongi's decision turns bitter and painful with Hobi's answer.

"My sweet little Jimin, I am terribly sorry my little one. I have made my decision. My heart has never wavered for anyone like it did for you my dear one. I will always stay as your guardian, I will look after you, awaiting you at the end day."

Jimin lost his cool, he fell on his knees and sobbed as hard as he could. Releasing the pain and wishful thinking into the drain of his own tears, unable to calm half of his heart about the thought of not having the angel of his side, forever.

"Come, stand with me Angel Hope."

Angel Hope bend down to plant a soft kiss of blessing on top of the crying blond's head as he embraced the petite body into his own.

"I love you Jimin."

"N-no..." Jimin sobbed.

Taehyung who stood by the side, wiped away his own tears as he clings closer to his lover, unable to think of the possibility of losing Jungkook.

"Lucifer? I believe you are up next for your decision. Although you have been banished from heaven, you are still considered for the option between the dark realm or earth."

Namjoon looked straight ahead, all he saw was the pink-purple head angel standing gloriously in front of him, with a look of anticipation in his face.

Should Lucifer choose to rule the dark realm like he used to or choose to live a human life? Or the unspoken option, will he choose someone his heart longed for secretly?

"I choose..."

This chapter was personally very exhausting for me to write. I put in a lot of thoughts, replaying the scenes over and over in my head so it makes sense.
