Chapter 3

 "So it's a date then?"
        The words echoed in your mind as you lay awake that night. You felt beyond guilty for over thinking it... but you couldn't forget, no matter how hard you wanted to. You knew Hiro loved you, and after everything that you'd been through... he wouldn't... no. You were positive he would never do anything like that.
        With that, you fell asleep.

                                                                                                                         ~~~
        "And you've no idea what happened or where you think he would have gone?" You sat with your head in your hands, looking at the spread of papers in front of you. GoGo popped another gum bubble.
        "I have no idea," she answered, standing up and stretching. "Sorry (Y/N)." You sighed.
        "No, it's fine. Thanks for trying." She nodded and walked out of the room.
        "Any luck?" Hiro walked into the room, holding two coffees and shut the door behind him. You let out another loud sigh.
        "No, nothing."
        "Here," he handed you a cup, and you shot him a grateful smile.
        "Thanks Hiro, what would I do without you?" He chuckled. "Hey, do you think you could stay a bit later after school and help me with this?" Hiro frowned and rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.
        "About that... you see, I have tutoring today so..." You looked up at him.
        "Oh, okay. I'll just stay and do it myself then," you grumbled. Hiro muttered another sorry, picked up his backpack, and left the room.
        You stayed at your desk for a good three hours before you finally called it a night, no closer to the case than when you started. Since Baymax usually dropped and picked you and Hiro up from school, you took the bus home, arriving around forty-five minutes later.
        "I'm home!" You called, throwing your backpack down by the door and taking off your coat as you entered the kitchen. You heard some shuffling, and a second later, Clare scuttled out.
        "By Hiro!" She giggled, waving.
        "See you on Thursday!" He answered. Clare pushed past you and walked out the door.
        "Hiro?" You peeked through the kitchen doorway, seeing Hiro packing up his things at the table. "How was it?"
        "I-it was good. She's... very tough to teach math to, but she's improving."
        "That's good." You sat down next to him. "Where's aunt Cass?       "
        "She went to bed already," he answered. "You should be too, it's getting late."
        "Yeah," you sighed, leaning back in your chair. "I guess." You stood up and stretched. "Goodnight Hiro." You gave him a quick peck on the lips, and turned to leave.
        "(Y/N)?"
        "Yeah?" You turned around again.
        "I almost forgot, your sister left you a message, and she wanted you to call her back as soon as possible." You smiled and nodded, deciding you'd call her first thing tomorrow.
        "Yeah, okay. Thanks." Spinning on your heel, you stalked up the stairs to your room. As you changed into your pajamas, the curiosity almost overwhelmed you. What was it that Asia wanted? She usually called your cellphone and not the land line if she wanted to get a hold of you. Finally deciding it wasn't too late to call her, you picked up your phone at sat on your bed. It rang twice before going to voice mail. Trying once more, you heard her pick up on the other line, and smiled to yourself.
        "Asia?"
        "(Y/N)!" She sounded slightly surprised.
        "I'm just calling you back," you started when she didn't say anything.
        "Oh! Yeah, that. I was just... wondering if I could come up for a week or so, assuming it's okay with Cass. I completely understand if it's not. It can wait-"
        "No!" You interrupted. "I'd love it if you came to visit!."
        "Er, great! Would the day after tomorrow work?"
        "Yes, that'd be awesome!"
        "Okay, well, I'll let you go kiddo. See you soon!"
        "Love you!" You called, hanging up.
