Chapter 22
Okay, so here's a thought... I've been reading theories on big hero 6 sequels and how everyone thinks it's going to go and everything... So I thought -- why not try and write my own before the next movie comes out (my own sequel to the movie)? Tell me what you think, because I'm seriously considering this ^-^ (assuming his one wouldn't be an x reader, though it also might be considered, whichever you guys most prefer, and I really would like your input so I know what to do.) Thanks and enjoy!~ Bella
I should shoot her.
That was your first thought as you pointed your gun to her head. I should shoot her for killing my sister and my father and trying to kill me. She deserves it... right?
"I-I, don't know Hiro..." you stuttered, and he looked at you, confused.
"You're not... gonna... do it?" He asked quietly.
"I'm... not sure I can..." Your hands were shaking almost as much as your mother was -- who was back to being curled up in a ball on the ground, whispering nonsense to herself. "I-I."
"Hey," Hiro whispered, setting a strong hand over your trembling ones. "It's okay (Y/N), put it down." He lowered the gun so the barrel was pointing at the ground. "It's okay." You were crying again, and let Hiro take the gun from your hands and pull you into a hug.
"I don't know!" You wailed. Your head hurt, your sister had been murdered; you just wanted to crawl away to your room and cry until you couldn't cry anymore.
The sound of sirens echoed throughout the deserted parking lot, and you and Hiro snapped your heads up as they got louder and louder. A split second later, an ambulance skidded off the road and bolted right towards you, followed by several police cars. You heard Hiro drop the gun, it clattering to the ground audible, even above the sirens and screeching breaks.
The rest was pretty much a blur. You were rushed into a car, or maybe one of the ambulances... you couldn't quite remember. People were talking to you urgently, and then you were ushered to a room, where they gave you what was possibly the softest bed you'd even laid on. After that, everything went black.
~~~
"(Y/N)!" You cracked open your eyes, only to snap them closed again as light flooded your vision.
"Ugh," you groaned, bringing a hand to your head as you pushed yourself into a sitting position. After a few more attempts, you were able to squint (barely), and you could make out a short, red and black figure standing by your bed.
"(Y/N), oh, thank God you're okay!"
Hiro.
"H-Hiro," you muttered, pressing the palm of your hand to your eyes in a feeble effort to ease the pain. "W-what, where, what happened?"
"You're... in the hospitable (Y/N)," he told you quietly. Now you opened your eyes completely, and there was your boyfriend, standing scared and wide-eyed in front of you.
"R-really?" You were about to ask what exactly had happened after you were picked up, but someone else had just burst into the room, cutting you off with a squeal.
"(Y/N)! OH MY GOD YOU'RE ALRIGHT!" Aunt Cass had practically thrown herself into the room, over to your bed (shoving Hiro to the side in the process) and pressed your face into her shoulder in a tight hug. "I'm a terrible guardian, oh, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have left you alone like that, I'm so sorry..." she cried, still not releasing you from her dead grip. Eventually, you had to reach up and pull her off of you so you could catch your breath.
"Aunt Cass, it's fine," you assured her. "I'm fine."
"And Asia," she choked, stroking your hair lightly. "I'm SO sorry (Y/N), I want you to know that." The thought of Asia brought tears to your eyes again, and a lump formed in your throat... but you were tired of crying... or you just didn't have any tears left to cry, so you just sobbed and closed your eyes again, unable to speak.
"I'm so sorry..."
