"Morning angel" Mark said as he wrapped his arms around Jack's waist from behind. "Morning babe" Jack replied, still sounding dazed from the small amount of sleep he got last night.

The boys were headed to a weekend getaway by the beach with a bunch of friends, including the game grumps, Felix, Marzia, Ken, and Mary. Everyone was bummed out that Bob and Wade couldn't make it, but Wade was busy and Bob couldn't make it due to the fact that he still has his last class of the summer for law school.

Jack was currently packing some food for the day. He had marshmallows, hot dogs, chocolate, sandwiches, crackers, and various other types of essentials. He placed all of them in the basket and poured himself and Mark a cup of coffee.

He plopped down on the kitchen table, literally. He was sat atop of the table, face into the wood. He groans, making Mark chuckle. "Get energized dude, just because you slept for 4 hours doesn't mean you can't deal with other human beings. Sleep is for the weak, right?" Jack groans again at Mark's phrase. Using his own words against him.

Jack actually got up and hopped off the table, plopping into Mark's lap this time. "Please don't spill the coffee on me like last time" Mark laughed and so did Jack. The greenhaired man kissed Mark and then rested his head on Mark's neck.

"I miss having Matt and Ryan around" Jack said sadly. "I feel you. They wanted to move out and we couldn't really stop them. When they first moved in they said they're staying for a bit and then moving on their own. They just stayed here for a while more because we all really needed time together. They also didn't want to leave me alone, but now I have you and Chica" Mark smiled. Jack kissed Mark's neck and smiled softly.

"Now, drink your coffee and let's get going. We're going to the grump office first to meet up with everyone" Mark says and sips on his cup, flinching at how hot it was. "Do you need ice?" Jack laughs and Mark sticks his tongue out. Jack gives him a sweet kiss trying to cool him down.

A distant phone was ringing, probably from Mark's pocket. He fidgets with his sweatpants a bit and grabs his phone, seeing Barry as the caller ID.

"Hey Barry!" Mark answer excitedly. "Hey nerd, when are you guys coming over? We're gonna be late if you don't hurry up" Barry warns. "Okay, we're on our way" Mark hangs up the phone.

"Did you really have to lie to him?" Jack laughs as he gets up from his partner's lap. "Shut up now move" Mark yells as he runs up the stairs, Jack shortly behind.

Mark and Jack put on the clothes they had planned out beforehand and grab their bags. "Okay, do you have everything? The food? Toothbrushes and toothpaste? Socks? Extra clothes? Napkins? Water guns? Sticks? Sunglasses?-" Mark gets interrupted by Jack's loud yelling. "Yes we do, stop naming every single thing we have and move!" Jack says as he grabs his bag and runs downstairs and Mark runs after him, wobbling due to the fact that Jack left Mark with the heavy bag.

Jack grabbed the car keys from the key holder and rushed to the car, unlocking it and plopping his bag in the trunk and waited for Mark to do the same thing. They hopped into the car and started driving into their adventure.

"We're going on a trip, in our favorite rocket ship!" Jack started singing as the man driving cringed very badly and extended his hand to cover Jack's mouth from singing any further. Mark felt a warm substance graze his hand and he immediately pulled away after he realized that Jack licked his hand. Mark let out a long 'ew' as he rubbed his hands over Jack's jeans as the Irishman laughed furiously.

Jack plugged the aux cord into his phone and put his Spotify on shuffle, various rock songs playing as Jack pretended to drum to the beat. Jack sure did miss playing the drums.

"Are you excited?" Mark asked, snapping Jack out of his thought bubble. "Fuck yeah I'm excited! I get to hang out with the awesomest people ever!" Jack gestures with his hands excitedly. "Well I'm glad you are" Mark laughs.

The couple arrived infront of the building, hopping out and rushing to the door. They stepped into the elevator and Jack pressed some random buttons, hoping to take them somewhere. They were greeted by the sight of Suzy and Arin, chatting it up with some bags scattered around them.

The colored haired dudes stepped out of the elevator when Suzy noticed them and rushed for a hug. She grabbed both of them and gave them a big bear hug. Arin also joined awkwardly in the back.

"Hey dweebs!" Kevin said as he entered the room. "Hey kid" Mark and Jack both said as Kevin came in to hug them too. "Hey don't call me a kid! You're both 12!" Kevin defended himself. "True true" Jack nodded.

"Is everyone ready?" Ross asks as he joined ten crowed with Danny and Barry. "Yes!" Jack yelled. You could see how excited he was, he was basically jumping up and down. Danny noticed his hops and ran towards him, grabbing him from the waist and throwing him over his shoulder, running around the room as Jack struggles to breathe as he laughs uncontrollably.

"Hey be careful! Mark will probably beat your ass if you slip your hand further!" Ross yells at Danny making everyone laugh, except Mark who just stuck his tongue out at Ross and flipped him off.

"Can we go now?" Suzy asked. Danny, who was still holding jack over his shoulder, decided to take the stairs down. Bad decision, atleast in Jack's point of view. Despite him being uncomfortable, he still couldn't stop laughing.

"Beat you guys" Danny panted as he pointed at the group that took the elevator. "Can I get down now?" Jack leant towards Danny's face. "Oh yeah" Danny said as he let Jack down back on the floor.

"Okay so, we rented a car and all of us should probably fit in there. Felix and his group already passed by and divided into their own cars so they're good. Who wants to drive?" Suzy explains, they could already tell she's gonna be the leader of this trip.

"I'll do it!" Barry said as he hopped into the drivers seat and everyone took their seats in the back. "Let's get this party started" Kevin sarcastically said as he pulled out his headphones and played some random band.

Jack was really humbled when he got to hangout with Danny for dinner around sxsw, but now he actually got to spend a whole weekend with him and the rest of the 'squad'.

Vernon, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, pulled out his phone to snap a picture of everyone. The amount of swagilicious poses were unbelievable. He uploaded the picture to his Instagram and Twitter with the caption 'your fav squad out on a trip to swag town' causing Jack to laugh when he retweeted it.

The ride there was pretty fun and it passed rather quickly. They didn't stop talking the whole way there, everyone was wrapped up in different conversations, including the YouTube Creator Summit, the movie Mark was working on, and even the fact that Mark and Jack were holding hands.

Kevin, who had his earbuds in the whole time, which Arin made sure to remark, spotted Felix and Ken on the beach and gestured that way, telling everyone they've arrived. Jack threw his arms in the air and screamed random nonsense at the top of his lungs, that's how you know he's excited.

They reached the driveway of the surprisingly spacious house they rented. People started flooding out of the car, and Jack almost tripped because of Kevin being unbelievably excited and pushing him so he can get out of the car first. Jack made sure to flip him off.

Mary and Marzia came out of the house and greeted everyone with a grin from ear to ear. "We already possessed our territory bitches!" Felix yelled and threw his hands in the air.

"Let's show you around the house!" Marzia jumped giddily and Mary followed behind. The guys all got the bags from the trunk of the car and joined the girls in the house.

The house was astonishing. Jack was basically wondering how the hell they could afford renting such a huge place. 'Oh wait, Felix' Jack remembered. The group continued walking behind Mary and Marzia as they showed them which rooms they were staying in.

It was like a log cabin, not like Jack's small cabin in the woods, you know? The beach houses that you probably always see on tumblr. The outside was a pastel blue and white and the inside was almost the same. It was rather modern, the wood smelt fresh, and it was certainly cozy.

Marzia and Mary stopped Mark and Jack by a room, probably their bedroom. "This is where you guys are staying, we made sure to give you the one that was soundproofed" Mary smiles. "Why the hell would a room in this type of place be soundproofed?" Mark laughs. "I don't know, don't ask me!" Marzia raises her hands innocently and walks away with the rest of the group.

The two men open the bedroom door, being welcomed by a fresh cinnamon scent. The room was absolutely breathtaking. It had a pastel blue King-sized bed, a bathroom with the biggest bath you can imagine, and enormous wardrobe, amazing decoration, and a flawless balcony that has a beach view.

Mark closes the door and grabs Jack's hand, running towards the bed and flopping face-first onto it. The mattress basically felt like a cloud. Mark was so close to calling the manager of this house to ask him where the hell they got the mattress from because damn, it was holy.

Mark hears his phone ring, and then Jack's phone went off exactly after. They both take out their phone from their pockets and check their notifications, realizing they've been put into a groupchat with all the people on the trip.

'I know some of you guys won't even answer me when I shout out your name so I decided to make the group so you guys can stop ignoring me and actually get off your asses. And yes, I'm looking at you Kevin' the text from Suzy read. Jack giggled and Mark replied with 'okay dweebs'.

"This place is so cool" Jack looks around. "Yeah, I really like it. I wonder how the hell I'm gonna repay Felix for this" Mark sighs. Felix was the one who invited everyone, no one really knows exactly the reason, and they didn't really question it.

Suddenly, all they could see is Kevin barging into their room with a beats pill in his hand. He was blasting 'Sweatshirt' by Jacob Sartorius through a Beats™ pill.

"FUCK YOU!" Jack got up and started throwing pillows at the younger kid. "You can wear my- SWEATSHIRT!" Kevin ignores the pillows and continues dancing and singing. Mark gets up too but instead of siding with his partner, he joins Kevin's singing.

"Cuz you're the only one I hold and I don't want you to be cold" Mark sings as loudly as possible, making Jack cringe hard and flop onto the bed with his head pushed into a pillow, trying to banish himself from existence.

"And when you walk the halls girl you know wanna flaunt it" Kevin sings at the highest possible volume. "Said this may be the start of something new, girl I'm gonna tell you exactly what I wanna do is more than just this" Kevin and Mark sang as they exited the room to annoy even more people.

They entered Felix's room, still blasting the song. "hey hey hey" Felix said as he ran towards Kevin and quickly snatched the speaker from Kevin's hand. "DUDE NO!" Kevin yelled in a high pitched voice and ran after Felix into the bathroom.

"One more word, and this thing goes down the toilet" Felix threatened as he swung the pill over the toilet. "Do it!" Jack said from the background and Kevin looked back at him and flipped him off.

Kevin quickly disconnected his phone from the speaker, causing the music to stop. Felix sighed and threw the pill back at Kevin. "Phew, thank god!" Arin said, entering from absolutely nowhere and making Jack jump.

"Come on guys, get your shit, we're gonna hangout by the beach" Mary yells from the hall. Jack squeels and runs excitedly to his room and changes to his swimming trunks, and grabbing their bag full of equipment. Mark hurried after him, grabbing two foldable chairs.

Everyone basically blasted to the beach in their swimsuits, placing the chairs all around the fire pit. It was still too early in the day to light it though, even if they want to burn to death. They also had a white plastic table with a white cloth on it, which they used to put the food on. Mark and Jack emptied their food onto the table, and so did the rest. It was like an open homemade food stand. Oh, now that they think about it, renting a food truck too would be cool.

Suddenly, Jack felt something on his neck, the declaration of war. He turned around to see Ken and Felix with water guns, loading them from the open source of water infront of them. "Oh it's fucking on" Jack challenged as everyone ran to their bags and grabbed their own water guns. They agreed to having a water fight beforehand but they never knew it was gonna start so soon.

Considering there's thirteen people with an endless amount of water, this is gonna be ugly. All of them ran towards the water, quickly loading their guns before starting to shoot eachother. It's like they all had it planned, everyone took the shot at Ken and Felix, the guys probably jealous of their beards and Mary and Marzia have been probably wanting to do this forever.

Jack realized who he has infront of him, loaded his gun, and sprayed Danny all over the face and hair, making his long fuzzy hair a straight and wet mess, just like him.

Jack starts running away as he realizes his partner was chasing after him, spraying the hell out of him. Jack tries to defend himself but everytime he tried to shoot him, he would get water all over himself so he decided to wait until he ran out of water. Jack, being the small person that he is, ran out of breath and had to stop running.

Mark caught up with him and turned him around, dropping the water gun onto the floor and grabbing Jack's face to kiss him. Jack wrapped his arms around Mark's wet bare torso and kissed him back.

"PDA!" The couple heard Ross shout and everyone chuckle. "Here have some holy water!" Felix yelled as he sprayed the couple with his water gun. This put Kevin on edge and made him cry from laughter, he always finds that joke so funny. "MCR broke up 3 years ago, stop crying over it and grow up already, Kevin!" Danny complained when he realized that Kevin was crying, and he took the opportunity to embarrass the emo man-teen. This made Kevin stop laughing and shoot Danny straight in the face.

This went on for a while, rather until dawn. The group was wet from head to toe, and the night was approaching, along with the cold atmosphere. Some of the guys went up to the cabin to grab some wood for the fire pit, and the girls all starting setting up the marshmallows, chocolate, and crackers.

When the guys came back, the s'mores were ready to be probably burnt. "Woah woah, s'mores already? Where's the wieners?" Ken laughed. Mark handed Ken a package. "Huh, who knew you'd get a package of wieners from a gay couple?" Felix laughs. "Excuse me, I'm bi, thank you very much" Jack defends himself, but Mark looks at the sand defeated.

The group huddles up infront of the fire as Vernon throws some logs into the pit. He grabs some matches and sets one aflame, throwing it into the logs after coating them with vodka. Yes, vodka. That's all they had.

The fire immediately bursts, making everyone jump, but calms down a few seconds later. Everyone takes their seats infront of the fire and start to stick the hot dogs onto their stick things. "This is relaxing and cozy" Kevin says as he cuddles up into a blanket.

"Yeah, this has been an amazing day" Ken says as hey passes beer to everyone. "None for you, Mark?" Ken asks. "No thank you" Mark smiles. Ken skips Mark and hands Jack a bottle. The Irishman shudders, questioning if he should drink it or not. "I don't know" he stares at it. "Oh baby, drink it, don't worry about me!" Mark smiles as he grabs Jack's hand. "You sure?" Mark nods to reassure him. "I'll be fine, I can get high off s'mores"

Jack opens the bottle and gulps half of it, missing the taste of the beverage. Ever since he moved in with Mark, you couldn't even bring alcohol into the house. He couldn't blame him though, he'd rather have Mark alive.

"Guys, can we play a game?" Arin asks and everyone nods. "It's like truth or dare, but without the truth part" Arin chuckles. "Everyone asks the group a question and we all answer with genuine answers. I really wanna know what you guys say"

Eating their food, everyone agrees. They all get closer together, forming more of a proper circle. Arin was cuddled with Suzy, Felix was cuddled with Marzia, Ken was cuddled with Mary, Jack was cuddled with Mark, and Vernon was cuddled with Kevin. Vernon and Kevin were both definitely straight, but let's face it, who wouldn't want to cuddle Kevin, even in a friendly way?

"Who's gonna start?" Mark asks. "Since you asked, how about you go first?" Barry informs. Mark takes awhile to think of an actual question, but eventually, it pops into his head. "Do you ever think we'd reach s day where our subscribers would ditch us?" Mark looks off into the sky.

"I mean, it's gotta happen one day. This isn't gonna last forever, even if we want it to. Everyone's gonna go down their own path, everyone's gonna pursue what they want to without having cameras pointed at them wherever they go" Danny rambles on. Jack places his head in Mark's lap and Mark starts playing with the green hair.

"It actually kinda scares me. Who knows, at any second everything can fall down into ashes. Our career is in the hands of our viewers, and if they just suddenly decide we're not worth it anymore, they can just let us go, and there we would be, starting all over again. That's why some youtubers should try their best to branch out while they have people to help them, you don't wanna end up depressed after the whole YouTube era dies down" Jack attempts to take a sip of his beer without spilling it.

"Yeah, I agree" Felix says. "And it's not always about the job. It's kind of the thing where you won't have any people fangirling over you anymore. Sure, people do take it out of hand sometimes, but it's also heartwarming seeing the endless amount of love and support, knowing there's people next to you no matter what. It's like an unnecessary ego boost, it makes you feel good about yourself and what you've created" Jack nods.

"Do you think there's such a thing as true love?" Danny asks out of nowhere. He sighs as he takes a sip of his third beer. Mark holds Jack's hand even tighter. "There's always someone out there for you, you just have to find the perfect one. Even if you don't, it doesn't really matter. You should know that you'll always have friends right there by you, that mean so much more than a partner. Sure, we might not give you the satisfaction of love, but we are a family, and family sticks together. Look at this beautiful friendship we've all developed, I'd prefer that over a love life any day. I don't think true love always has to be about a physical relationship, it just has to be between people who actually care about eachother, people who would be together no matter what" Ross says, making some people start to tear up.

"What Ross said is true. I've grown up on YouTube looking up to you guys, and many other talented people. Considering I came from a log cabin to ten million subscribers, to a relationship with a guy I've always looked up to and still do, to be sitting here with you guys, with the king of YouTube, and all of you awesome people. It just gets overwhelming sometimes. If something like that could happen, I'm sure true love can be unfolded out there. And who knows, sometimes it might just be close to your grasp" Jack says as he grabs Mark's hand and kisses it.

The s'mores were now being brought out, dozens of beer bottles empty, tears, laughs, and memories. This was truly the best setting and hangout they could imagine. They would never forget this day, it was a truly influential day.

Jack sinked deeper into Mark's chest, slowly closing his eyes. He felt himself slowly drift off into sleep inbetween his lover's arms, and surrounded by the best friends he could ask for.
