(Mark and Jack are Demigods who move the sun and moon. Mark moves the moon while Jack moves the sun.)

Mark's POV

I was so excited for tonight's eclipse, I could finally see Jack. nearly 6 long months of loneliness and I'll finally get to see him. For the first time in a long time I smiled as I moved the moon across the sky to end the day, it was rare that I ever saw Jack when I did this but when I did he would always give me his biggest smile. What's funny is that everyone on Earth thought the night demigod was female, and the day demigod was male and their children were the sunrise,sunset, and the stars.

I had finally pushed the moon into the place it was meant to be for the solar eclipse. Now I just waited for Jack. I watched the stars slowly fade away as the new day began. I stood up on the cold icy surface of the moon as I looked at the Sun as Jack got it in place. Personally we both thought it was funny that the humans thought this meant the world was ending. I finally saw it, I finally saw him. His smile almost outshining the Sun he governed. We both started to walk, well more like float over to one another, leaving the celestial bodies we moved.

"It's been so long Mark, I've missed you." I reached out and he did the same and we floated faster until we felt the others embrace. I hid my face in his shoulder, I wasn't used to being so warm. It was nice, I felt safe. He tilted my head up.

" Don't hide from me, I wanna see your face sweetheart." He placed a small kiss on my cold lips giving them warmth.

"I can't stand being alone for another 6 months, we have to find away to stay together." He thought for a moment before smiling.

"What if we helped each other push and move the sun and moon?"

"How? What about your sunrises and sunsets?"

"You would only have to leave a little before then." I smiled and hugged him close, he smiled and did the same to me.

Never again did I have to wait 6 months to see him.
