What causes pain???

Here are a few things that can certainly be painful...

Slamming your hand (fingers) in a car door...

Falling onto a hard surface or sharp objects...

Getting cut (paper cuts are the worse)...

Stepping on something sharp barefooted...

Breaking a bone (or bones!!!)...

Getting chucked in the throat (or some other sensitive locale)...

Getting shot (really sucks)...

Natural child birth (or so I've heard)...

Needing and not having...

Being lied to (on)...

Having trust betrayed...

Being violated (many forms... Pick one)...

Loving without being loved back...

Losing a loved one...

Those are painful things...

Pain does have one attribute...

Feeling pain let's one know for sure that one is still alive...
