Stronger

Jin-Jer spent the last few weeks training with little to no rest. She had taken a ship to different planets with strong gravity levels since she couldn't bare to train with Vegeta at the moment.

Her muscles rippled and she began to withstand all the weight on her shoulders. She smiled, knowing that she was getting stronger. Only problem was, she didn't know how to ignite the power of a super Saiyan.

Was there some type of technique? A spell? Anything? What would be the point of all this training if she had no clue how to transform?

After a few months, Jin-Jer decided to come back to earth. She felt like she would float away if her feet weren't planted on the ground properly. Her Saiyan blood began to boil for the thrill of a spar. But who would she face?

*tap tap tap*

Trunks put his toys down when he heard a tapping. He opened his door to see that there was nobody there. The boy shrugged and went back to playing.

*tap tap tap*

Trunks looked around to see where the noise was coming from. He checked under his bed and the closet. The tapping just got louder and faster. At this point it was already annoying.

He looked up and saw a shadow behind his curtains. He opened them up and floating outside his window was Jin-Jer. Trunks smile widened by 10 times. He quickly opened up the window and asked: "Where have you been?!"

"Here and there."

Trunks flew through the window to meet her outside, "I missed you so much! My dad and I thought we'd never see you again! I have to admit, knowing another Saiyan was pretty cool."

Jin-Jer couldn't help the small smile that was tugging at the corners of her mouth. Seeing Trunks this excited made her feel happy on the inside. "Where are your parents?"

"My moms working and my dad is in the hyperbolic time chamber."

Jin-Jer had no idea what that last part meant. She just assumed that it was some other work out devise. "You think they'll be gone for the whole day?"

"Possibly. Why?"

Jin-Jer swept the loose bangs that fell from her pony tail. She bit her tongue being embarrassed to ask her question. "Your dad told me that you can go super Saiyan. And.... I've been away training to get stronger and I don't know how to transform just yet. I have no clue if I'm even strong enough to transform. So.... Ummmm... I was wondering... If you may possibly want to... I don't know...."

"You don't need to say it. I'll definitely help you transform!"

Trunks lead Jin-Jer to the mountain range where they could train without disturbing anybody. "How did you transform?"

"Well, usually something has to trigger your transformation. Like something tragic that's happened to you or someone you love. I don't remember too much about when I first went Super Saiyan though. It was really sudden."

"Oh... Okay..." The last thing Jin-Jer wanted to do was think about something tragic in her life, but if it'll make her stronger then so be it. "Alright, I'm ready."

Trunks came at her with full force. He didn't go SSJ yet because he wanted to see how strong she's become. Truth was, she was able to handle things pretty well. "Alright now I'm going to power up into a SSJ."

Trunks clenched his fists and let out a battle cry before his lavender hair went blonde and his black orbs turned teal. Jin-Jer could feel his energy radiating through the area. He was so strong. She would have never guessed a half breed could amount to so much power. "Wow...."

"Pretty sweet, Huh?" he grinned in a very cocky manner. "Now I'm going to see if you can handle my new strength." The boy charged at her with a series of attacks. He was shocked that Jin-Jer was able to keep up. She even landed a few powerful blows. Jin-Jer pulled out a sword from the scabbard on her back. Instead of a blade, there was blue ki that replaced it.

Trunks was in awe when he saw the weapon and got distracted, allowing Jin-Jer to get the upper hand. Trunks fell to the ground and she pointed the sword at his chin. She sighed in disappointment and helped him up. "Why are you sad?" Trunks asked. "You did great! Even when I was in my super Saiyan form."

"Yeah but I still didn't transform." she plopped to the ground, "I wish I knew what I was doing wrong."

"Hmm, I don't know."

"It's because she isn't fully tapping into that dark moment in her past." Jin-Jer and Trunks looked up to see where that deep voice was coming from.

"Piccolo, what are you doing here?" Trunks asked.

"I felt a powerful energy. Turns out it was just you and your friend."

Jin-Jer stood up and stared down the green warrior, "What do you know, Namekian?"

Piccolo crossed his arms, "Let me guess, friend of Vegeta's?"

"So what if I am? It doesn't matter to you."

Piccolo rolled his eyes, "You Saiyans are all the same. Arrogant, power hungry, too stupid for your own good."

Jin-Jer gritted her teeth, "I'll make you eat those words." she growled. It bugged the warrior to a great degree when someone bashed the name of the Saiyan race. They are a prideful breed of warriors who refuse to be mocked by some weakling. Plus, Frieza played a big part in disrespecting them and Jin-Jer wasn't going to take it anymore.

"I'm far stronger than the boy. So you'd better reconsider before I end up killing you." Piccolo warned with a devious look on his face.

Jin-Jer scoffed, "There's no way you're stronger than a Super Saiyan."

"I was stronger than Vegeta and Goku at one point." he reminded the clueless warrior. "Don't underestimate me because I'm not apart of your nearly extinct race."

Jin-Jer snarled before throwing a powerful strike. To much of her amazement, Piccolo caught her fist in mid swing. "Impossible! You got lucky!"

Piccolo threw her arm to the side. "If you aren't convinced yet, I have no problem with teaching you the true strength of a super Namekian."

"Uhhh, guys..." Trunks stood in between the two grown ups, "Let's not get out of hand now."

Jin-Jer ignored him and moved the boy behind her so she could levitate to the Namekian's level. "Oh I wish I could kill you a thousand times over. But once will do." she smirked.

Piccolo didn't hesitate to begin his battle with the woman. Neither held back their strength. Trunks moved out of the way and watched from a far.

Before both fighters knew it, they were both bruised and bloody. Jin-Jer was on the ground and could barely lift herself up anymore. Piccolo struggled back to his feet and placed his foot on the back of Jin-Jer's neck. "Is that all you got? You're pathetic. You dare call yourself a warrior? You are nothing more than a disgrace." Piccolo charged up a purple orb of ki and aimed it down at her head. "Your people couldn't protect each other. And you can't defend yourself. You are just a filthy monkey."

Jin-Jer clenched her hands and screamed loudly in anger, "No.... I'm... Not!!!!!" she roared, powering up whiched knocked Piccolo off of her. She stood up with firey, erratic blonde hair and cold blue eyes. "I said I would kill you and I meant it!" she huffed, grabbing him by the collar of his battle suit. "But I want it to be slow and painful."

"Jin-Jer stop!" Trunks cried out, "You don't need to kill him! Please don't!"

Piccolo gave a bloody half smile, "There..." he spoke breathlessly, "You did it..."

Jin-Jer let go of him and took a moment to process what had just happened. "I'm a... I'm a..."

"A super Saiyan." Trunks finished her remark.

"B-but how?" Piccolo tried getting back to his feet and almost fell forward until Jin-Jer caught him.

After he regained his composure, Piccolo spoke. "With Vegeta, you were unable to go to that dark place in your mind because you were so ecstatic to be with him again and you couldn't keep your focus. And with Trunks, you couldn't bring yourself to hurt him because he's Vegeta's son." he explained, "Since you don't know who I am. You would have no problem killing me. As for the insults, that was just something to get you angry."

"Why did you help me?"

"With Goku being dead, it would be handy to have another strong force as our ally. You'd be the perfect fit."

Jin-Jer placed her hands on her hips, "And who says I'm going to use my strength for good, hm? What makes you think I won't obliterate this planet?"

Piccolo didn't a low chuckle, "If destroying earth was really apart of your agenda, you would have attempted to do it by now. And second, I doubt you'd want to hurt Vegeta and his son. Let's be honest, mass destruction doesn't seem like it would spark your interest anymore."

"You know nothing about me!" Jin-Jer hissed, "So stop talking like you do." she warned. "What do you mean Kakarot's dead? He was alive and well at the tournament. And how did you know I was training with Vegeta? Have you been spying on me, Namek?!"

"Goku gave up his life to save the planet a number of years ago. You may have noticed the halo; King Kai let him come down to earth so he could see his son compete in the tournament. He went back to other world though. As for knowing about you and Vegeta; I hear everything." Piccolo informed then pointed to his ears.

"Hmph." Jin-Jer crossed her arms. It's been a while since she let her Saiyan personality show. Since being on earth, she never really talked to anybody, so there was no point in being cheeky towards someone. Piccolo saw no point in conversating with the woman anymore and turned to fly away. "Namek!" Jin-Jer called back.

Piccolo turned around and caught what Jin-Jer threw at him. He opened up his fist to see a Senzu bean.

Jin-Jer stared back and gave him a nod in which he returned. "The names Jin-Jer, in case you care or not."

"Piccolo." he introduced himself then took the Senzu bean, before going back to his business.

Jin-Jer turned to face Trunks, "Let's get you home."

Once they arrived to Castle Corp. They flew up to the boys window. "I had a lot of fun today. Could we do this again sometime?"

"If you want."

"Cool! Maybe I could bring my friend Goten along so he could meet you too. I think you'd like him." Trunks went in through the open window and pulled Jin-Jer by the hand to come inside. "Do you want to see some of my toys? They're pretty awesome."

"Ummmm," she stammered, looking back at the window. "I really need to go now." Trunks pouted and gave her puppy dog eyes. Jin-Jer couldn't help but fall victim to that face. Her son used to use that one all the time on her. "Just real quick."

Real quick turned into a few hours. Before they knew it, it was already night time. Time had just flown by. Spending time with Trunks reminded the woman of how much she loved playing with Blayze.

"Oh man, I need to wash up and get to bed or moms gonna kill me!" he began putting his toys away and got out a pair of pj's. "Stay here okay. I'll be out real quick."

"Trunks-." she was cut off by the boy running into the bathroom and shutting the door. Jin-Jer took this moment to view the pictures hung on the boys wall. He looked like such a happy boy. She smiled when she came across a picture of Vegeta and Trunks in the gravity chamber. Bulma must have taken it through the window when they weren't looking.

"Alright I'm finished." Trunks came from behind and saw Jin-Jer holding one of the framed pictures. He noticed she was crying. "Hey... Are you okay?" he asked, grabbing her hand.

"I'm fine." she wiped her tears.

"You can tell me. I'm good at keeping secrets."

Jin-Jer sniffled then giggled softly at the boy. "You just remind me of someone I knew."

"Who?"

She shook her head not wanting to talk about it. "You should get to bed now. It's late."

Trunks yawned and jumped in bed. Jin-Jer turned to exit his room from the window until he called her back in. "Can you tuck me in? My moms not here and she usually does it every night."

"Uhhh yeah. Sure." Jin-Jer tucked in the covers to make sure Trunks was warm and cozy. "Better?"

He nodded, "Before you go... My mom usually gives me a kiss goodnight."

Jin-Jer sighed. Wow, she missed tucking her own son into bed and kissing him goodnight. Jin-Jer placed a soft kiss on the side of Trunks cheek. "Goodnight, Jin-Jer. You're the best." he smiled before drifting off into a slumber.

"Goodnight Trunks." she smiled before leaving.
