Minho's Dream

I thought I was all alone this morning so I decide no shirt. But when I walked out that's when I saw her making coffee. Her being Y/n. She looked so beautiful in the mornings, when her curly hair would cover her eyes. She was so obsessed with making sure that she had her coffee in the morning, it was kind of adorable. "God, your here I thought it was just me." She said to me and I looked at her.

"How do you think I feel? I thought the same. Finally some peace." I said to her and she stopped making her coffee.

"Now I can't even concentrate on wanting coffee." She said while looking my chest.

"If this is one of your remarks I don't see the punchline." I said to her, if she was trying to make something out of that. I would've thought she'd try harder like usual.

"It's not, now I've got to find another way to wake myself up." She said to me and I looked her with my arms crossed.

"I'll try not to disturb you this time." I said to her and she started to walk away.

"No, I want you to." She said to me before walking over to the bathroom. "I want you to join me." She said to me. I then started following her. I don't even know what was happening in this dream anymore. Why was I thinking this? I looked down and her and she looked up at me. Jumping suddenly and wrapping her legs around my waist. Our lips starting to draw closer, until she took her shirt off and I closed the door. The shower was the only option.

Back to Y/n

I woke up to Minho screaming. I wasn't even going ask. But I couldn't get back to sleep now. I decided to make some coffee. If I was up I might as do something to give me energy. Maybe I'd even study. When I was making my coffee I saw Minho come out his room. "Coffee?" I asked him and he started shaking his head.

"No, I'm fine." He said before retreating back into Dae and his room. That was weird but who was I judge. When it was the actual right time in the morning I went off with Q. Kitty wanted to talk to Alex. We did our usual thing once we were together, coffee.

"I just wanted to talk to him, and then Alex said that not everybody's on my timetable. So now I'm just wondering about Professor Lee and- -" Kitty started and Q cut her off.

"How about, instead of fixating on all this Alex drama, we concentrate on what you are both gonna wear to Minho's Madness Party?" Q asked as the three of us sat down together.

"You know that party won't start until I'm there." I said to him, I was definitely going. Maybe this was the perfect excuse to talk to Minho. Living with him was also a good excuse but after this morning.

"I'm not going." Kitty said to us. Q and I looked at each other before looking at her. She had to.

"What?" We both asked her, this was our first big party here. Second if you include the welcome party. But that was a disaster after all.

"Why? It's the event of the year." Q said to her and I looked at her.

"Which is why you have to go." I said to her before drinking some of my coffee.

"Because Dae and Yuri will probably be there." Kitty said and there she was again like a broken record.

"Yuri will be there. She's DJing. But Dae never goes to these things so you don't have to worry about that." He said to us and I wanted to go back, Yuri could DJ. I didn't even know she knew how to.

"I'm not worried. I don't care to spend time with somebody who can't acknowledge a meaningful gesture." She said and I looked at my watch.

"5 minutes." I said to Q, that's how long it had been since she'd last brought this up.

"Here we go." Q said to me, the two of us just sat back.

"He didn't even say 'thank you' for the necklace. Not even an emoji. That necklace was my mom's. I have it to Dae when his mom died." She said to us and I couldn't listen to this anymore.

"Okay. While we would love to sit here and talk about this again, I'd rather shove scissors in my ears. I think Y/n's on the same page as well." He said and he looked to me. I had to break it to her.

"I would as well, I can't bare this anymore." I said to her, since being here I'd found myself listening to her issues the whole time. But when I needed someone to talk to I didn't have her, it was either Alex this or Dae that. Which is why I find myself turning to Q, because he will listen. And I do the same back.

"Yeah. Seriously, this whole week, all we've been hearing is, 'Dae, necklace, Yuri, Alex, necklace, Alex, Yuri, Dae, necklace.' You're like a robot that's malfunctioning, stuck on a loop." Q said and I looked at her, I had another example.

"Or like a record that's stuck on one song, we won't the next one already." I said to her and Q nodded at me.

"And you came here to have new experiences and love your life. You know what Minho's Madness Party is?" Q asked and she gave him a look. I didn't either but I heard party. "A new experience." He said to her and that's what I needed. A new experience.

"Ugh. God, I can't believe I was just about to stay in on a Friday night, pouting about a boy." She said to us, I could because she'd basically been doing that since day one.

"Yeah." Q and I said to each other.

"Oh, no. I'm turning into LJ." She said and I looked at Q, he didn't know who she was.

"That's Kitty's sister." I said to him and he nodded.

"Sure. Okay, but tonight we're gonna go out into the great big world and be a new kind of Kitty." Q said and she needed to be.

"I will help. We both will." I said to her, she needed to move on from Dae. And fast.

"New kind of Kitty who...?" She asked and we all looked at each other.

"Who'll find someone to kiss?" He asked her, she needed to kiss someone. And it better not be Dae.

"Well, I always thought Dae would be my first kiss, and now he's the only boy in the world who can't be." She said and she was sad about that.

"It'll be okay, we'll find someone better." I said while rubbing her arm, who knew. She might get a boyfriend after this night.

"I know, I know, but think of all the possibilities. Seriously. Use that matchmaker skill on yourself. Switch it up." Q said and I looked at her. I did agree with her.

"Exactly, you deserve it so much. More than anyone." I said to her and she smiled. She finally knew what to do.

"Okay. I could kiss somebody tonight. Yeah! I will kiss somebody tonight." She said and I looked at her with a smile.

"That's my girl." I said to her with a smile. She was finally not going to be sad anymore.

"Yes, girl." Q said and then I felt his eyes on me. "And you, are you going to talk to that guy that you like. Because if you are I want to know who it is." Q said to me and now Kitty was the one looking confused.

"I am, and who knows what will happen." I said to him and Kitty looked at me and then at Q.

"What have I missed?" She asked and that's when Q looked at her.

"She's got a secret crush, who isn't so secret. I think I know who it is." He said and that's when Kitty looked at me.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked and I didn't exactly know what to say. I tried to tell her.

"I tried to." I said to her and we continued on with our day. Soon I would be getting ready for the party and I had to be looking my best.

Now I wasn't dressing up for Minho. I was dressing up for myself. Or maybe I was dressing up for him as well. "Damn, Y/n. Your pulling out all the stops." Q said to me as I walked into our shared room.

"Hey, I've gotta show that I'm the only one that he needs." I said to him and Kitty walked in. She had her jaw dropped and not metaphorically either.

"I would ask if your ready to go but you definitely are." She said to me and we started on our way to Rubik. There was even a bouncer at the door.

"Names?" He asked us and I looked at him.

"Y/n Hwang." I said with a smile and he nodded and let me go.

"Kitty Song Covey." Kitty said and the same thing. The two of us then walked in together. Clutching our bags. I saw people looking at us and I smiled. Winking at a few of the guys. But we were looking for Florian or Q. And when we saw Florian we both did twirls for him.

"Oh, my God. You look so good." He said to us and we smiled.

"Why, thank you. You look good as well." I said to him before hugging him. Kitty and I had gotten closer to Florian since him and Q had gotten together. I couldn't ask for a better friend. The five of us then grouped together.

"I told you everyone was gonna lose their mind." Q said to her and I put a hand on her shoulder. She was getting the attention she deserved.

"This also means that, your hot and people are only just opening their eyes." I said to her and that's when her mood changed she saw someone in the crowd.

"Dae is here." She said and we followed her gaze. There he was. Great, this would be the subject of tonight. He smiled at her and then she snapped her head back to us. "Nope. I am here to meet a new boy to kiss." She said before taking Q's drink. You see I was smart. I got a drink while we were walking. But all mocktails, great. I needed alcohol.

"What are you doing?" Q asked, if that was me I would've wanted to take my drink back. But it was Kitty so I'd let her have it.

"I'm getting ready to get this whole 'meeting new people' thing started. Never actually had alcohol before, but liquid courage, right?" She asked, if my Mom ever knew I'd drank alcohol she'd kill me. Which is why I never drank it, yet. But if anyone had any tonight, I wouldn't say no. It's not like she can see what I'm doing from Portland.

"There's actually no alcohol in these. Mocktails only. Underage drinking in Korea, huge no-no. People get canceled for that." Q said to me and I looked at him.

"Tell me about it, in my household my Mom treats it like Korea. You can only imagine what growing up was like." I said to him and he started to think about it.

"I feel for you." He said to me, the amount of times my brothers had gotten into trouble. I never wanted to be in that position.

"Well, lucky for us...I'm French." Florian said while pulling out a flask. He then put some in Kitty's drink.

"Thank you." She said to him. It was my time.

"Load it up baby. Thank you." I said to him as he put some in mine. Then it was Q's time. He then did his. I was gonna need this.

"To new experiences. Let's do this." Kitty said and we clinked glasses.

"And to starting new things." I said, I was definitely going to talk to Minho tonight. It seemed like the perfect place.

"Kitty, you look amazing..." Dae started and we walked away. To the dance floor. Kitty was scanning the room. For guys. And I was scanning for Minho. I couldn't see him. I didn't even know what he was wearing. I was on my second drink now as well which meant more alcohol.

"Hi. I see your eyeballs. You are boy shopping. And you, you are looking for your boy." Florian said and he was right. He then put more in my drink.

"Thank you." I said with a smile.

"I love this vibe for you both." He said to us both. And that's when I saw him. But I wasn't going now.

"I'm having the best time." She said to us and I looked at her.

"Same here." I said to her.

"Moi aussi. This is exactly what I needed. Like an escape from family drama and stupid school pressure- -" He started and I looked at him.

"So stupid, the stupidest!" I said while raising my glass.

"Stupid school, yes. It's like, why is school so hard all of a sudden?" Kitty asked and I had to agree. So much pressure.

"I have no idea." Florian said to us all.

"I Know." I said to them and Q came over with more drinks.

"Thank you, kind sir." I said with a smile. These drinks were just what I needed.

"So pretty. Thank you." Kitty said to him and Florian put my drink in them. I think it was vodka. Kitty then laid her eyes on a guy. She then waved him over and he was a no. A whole no, especially by how he was coming over.

"No. No." Me and Q said at the same time.

"No, no. Let's go." Florian said and we started walking away.

"Don't look back." I said to her as we walked.

"Immediately." Florian said and we were getting her out of there.

"He's weird." Q said and we kept walking. And Kitty kept trying to find someone. We all separated I went to the bar. When I saw Minho.

"I'll have what he's having." I said to the barman. He then looked at me.

"Wow, I didn't even know you were here." He said to me and that was a lie, I knew that it was.

"Sure you didn't." I said as I sat at the bar next to him. I saw him look me up and down.

"I think I would remember seeing, I can't believe I'm even saying this, seeing you look this. Um, beautiful." He said and I was a bit taken a back.

"Dance, me and you. Come on let's go. And thank you, you don't look too bad yourself." I said to him and I pulled him up. I saw a small appear on his face.

"I can't even believe I'm letting myself do this." He said to me with a smile, it was nice to know that he was willing to do all of this for me.

"Oh, please you enjoy it secretly." I said to him and he smiled at me.

"I do admit that I do, sometimes." He said to me and I knew it. Our drinks were made and I took mine. The two of us then started dancing together. He then saw someone and he had go.

"Beer. This isn't one of my London parties. We are in Seoul, meaning no underage drinking. Give me that." He said to the guy before taking the bottle and walking away. He then walked back to me.

"I should probably say, I've been drinking." I said to him and he looked at me. Like he couldn't trust me anymore. It wasn't my fault.

"Then I guess, we'll get you some water." He said to me and I shook my head at him. I didn't want water. "Why no?" He asked me and I tilted my head at him. "What's this look apart from cute and working?" He asked me and now I didn't know if he was saying this because my brain was gone.

"I wanna dance. With you again." I said to him and he smiled, he then took a plate from someone.

"Eat this first and then I'll think about it." He said to me before walking away. I then saw Alex as I was eating whatever Minho gave me. I walked over to him, Minho was there as well.

"Alex. Thank God you're here. You have to help me stop these barbarians." Minho said as I approached him, who was he call him barbarians.

"You don't think I'm trying?" Alex asked him and I stopped.

"Then why don't you try harder." I said to him and Minho looked at me. Almost like he didn't want to leave me.

"Last year, an idol's family was ruined because if an underage drinking scandal. I refuse to put my mother through that and Y/n's family. I'll take the left side, you take the right. I'll also take Y/n with me, who knows what she'll do." Minho said and he took my arm and looped his through mine. He did care about me.

"Okay." Alex said and they tried to move. We then started to walk away.

"You do care about me?" I asked him and he looked at me and shook his head.

"That's the only thing that your taking into account. But seeming as you might not remember this when you wake up tomorrow I do. It's your fault as well." He said to me and I looked at him. How as this my fault.

"It isn't, you just couldn't resist me." I said to him and I saw a smile creep on his face. We continued our walk around.

"Welcome to the stage, Yuri!" The DJ said and she took to the stage.

"We should go support Yuri's set." I said to him as we stopped and he looked at me.

"I thought you didn't like Yuri because of the situation with Kitty." He said to me and he was confused. I never didn't not like her.

"Please, I get there's a code that girls follow but I don't know both sides of the story." I said to him and he put his arm around me. In a different way. Around my shoulders.

"I guess that's fair." He said to me and we continued walking. I've never felt more comfortable with someone. Was this us just being friends? Or was he thinking the same as me? "Also, if you want to dance then we should." He said to me and we went into the main area. Everybody Wants To Rule The World started and I looked at Minho, it was dance version but it didn't matter. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he looked at me. Confused. "How much do you think you'll remember tomorrow?" He asked me and I shrugged and looked at him.

"Depends if I regret something or if it's something I want to remember I guess." I said to him and he wrapped his arms around my waist. Like he had a plan.

"Well, hopefully this is one of them." He said to me and he put his hand on my face leaving the other resting on my hip. Pulling me closer to his until our lips touched. Leading us to kiss. We then pulled apart.

"I'll definitely remember this." I said with a smile. I saw him smile back.

"Good." He said before we kissed again with a bit more passion. I was smiling through it. We then stood there, near enough making out. Not caring anymore. We only stopped and pulled away when the music stopped. We then heard screaming.

"Minho, I can't run." I said to him as he was pulling me to run. He then stopped and turned around.

"I'll carry you, don't worry." He said to me and I got on his back. Wrapping my arms around him. He had his hands holding onto my legs so he wouldn't drop me. How I wanted that moment to last forever. When we got back to the dorm it was just the two of us. He quickly kissed me again.

"Goodnight." I said to him as I went to my bedroom door.

"Goodnight." He said or me and I changed briefly and got into bed. I couldn't believe the events of the night. If anyone told me that would happen I wouldn't believe them. Me and Minho. It was an idea I would've hated but now. It's something I liked. I was not looking forwards to tomorrow though.
