Dream state

It was just like another normal day in the boys dorm + Kitty and Y/n. Apart from it wasn't. Although it wasn't the same it was quiet. Everyone had left making it just me and Minho. I was making a coffee in the kitchen and he was in his room. He walked out shirtless. "You know I was jealous the other day at lunch. I was thinking my chances would be over with you." He said to me I knew that he was. Buy this was always a dream. Wasn't this what I was controlling.

"Well, I knew you would be. That's exactly what I was hoping for as well." I said to him and he walked closer to me. I put my coffee. Down on the counter as he was right in front of me.

"Where's those sassy remarks I'm used to hearing?" He asked me and I looked up at him. I didn't have any at this moment.

"I don't have, it was all a plan to get you interested." I said before looking up at him and I saw a smile on his face.

"Well your plan worked." He said to me and he looked down at me. I jumped and wrapped my legs around his waist. Our faces got closer together and sealed the gap. He then took me into his shared room.

Awaken state

That's when I woke. I shrugged everything off of me. I did not just have a dream about Minho. A sex dream at that. I don't even like him that way. Or am I lying to myself. All I know if I can't look him today. I'd be avoiding him at all costs. Especially if I had coffee. Me and Kitty had a meeting. Minho had kicked us out of the dorm. Thank god.

"I'm very sorry you were both not assigned a proper dormitory." Professor Lee said to us as he was choosing who we'd be sharing with.

"That's fine." I said to him it was definitely an experience.

"That's okay." Kitty said to him and it was and wasn't.

"Oversights like this song often happen at KISS. I understand as new students it can be scary to speak up, which is why Minho kindly alerted us to your egregious rooming mishap." He said to us and we were handed our new forms.

"Yes, he is so selfless." She said to him.

"He's so kind doing that for us." I said to him with a fake smile. I was going to kill him.

"I'm sure you and your assignee roommate will become fast friends. You can go." He said to us and we looked at each other.

"Thank you." We both said and we both ran out. We packed and went to our new dorms. We were no longer together and let's just say I was going to get any sleep here. It one of the rooms it sounded like someone had their boyfriend ever, great. Then there was music from the other room. Someone was sat on the sofa.

"Hi, I'm the new girl." I said to her and she looked at me. I had a feeling I'd be wanting to leave this dorm as quickly as I entered it.

"It's nice to meet you. Your in that room, so you'll mainly be on the sofa. But I like your hair it's very pretty. Are your curls natural?" She said to me and already this girl was weird. Why couldn't I have been with Yeojin at least.

"They are natural." I said that night I had the worst sleep ever on the couch. I swear when I woke up that morning I was missing a lock of hair. The next few days I was exhausted. I had to leave campus to buy coffee because our dorm didn't have one. I was in Professor Lee's class and Yeojin was helping me to stay awake. I was more fortunate then Kitty. We needed helped. "Who can we even go to?" I asked her and she looked at me.

"Alex. He has to help us." She said to me and we went off to go and find him. The two of us were an absolute state. "Please, you have to help us." Kitty said to him and I looked at him.

"Listen, I'm losing my sanity in that dorm." I said to him. The only thing I wanted was a good night sleep and a coffee.

"I understand that the living situation may be a little bit difficult." He said to us and I looked at him. He'd never seen or heard the things that I have.

"Professor Finnerty, have you seen a Jenja tower of pizza boxes? Have you ever smelled a Jenna tower of pizza boxes?" Kitty asked and I thought mine was bad.

"And have you ever had loud music playing all night in one room and then someone at it all night in the other? Have you ever been told that your sleeping on the couch? And lastly, have you ever woken up missing a lock of hair and all the hair in hairbrush gone?" I asked him, I'd love to know where it's gone. It's like someone was making a voodoo doll of me.

"Actually- -" he started and I didn't want to hear it. We needed to have help. We couldn't stay in that way anymore.

"You are our resident advisor. Isn't there anything you can do?" She asked him, there had to be.

"Sorry, Kitty, but the girls' dorm is completely full." He said to us and I didn't know what to do.

"My sanity is leaving me." I said to them as I looked around.

"I can't sleep. I can't study. I can't get the mozzarella out of the carpet. And I'll dial all of my classes." Kitty said I was going to be in the same position.

"There's always the library." Alex said to us and I looked at him.

"That's perfect for napping in." I said with a smile let's face it. It's quiet and no one would talk to you. I'd just have to create a tower of books. Kitty was giving him a look.

I believe you can both make it work. You've already survived your first weeks of junior year." He said and the bell rang. I wanted to the old dorm back with the coffee machine. "I'm here if you both need me. And let's look at the bright side. This living situation, it could be a lot worse." He said and then started to walk away. I could be bald. That was the worst.

"How?" Kitty asked him.

"Could be blue cheese." He said to her and the two of us walked away. That evening, Kitty, Q and I were watching one of Q's favorite shows. In a Minho free zone.

"I don't know. It's a lot of bulging eyes and rotting flesh." She said, this one of my favorite shows. My brother and I would watch it together.

"Tell me your lying." I said to her, she can't have just said that to the two of us.

"Kitty, what? This is a classic." He said to him and I pointed at him.

"He's right. A true classic." I said to them both and Q was agreeing with me.

"You know who you should be watching this with? Florian. You guys are vibing." Kitty said and I'd seen it in biology. I'd been trying to avoid Minho in that class but it never worked.

"I've been seeing it, you two have a lot of chemistry together and I'm not talking about in the classroom." I said to him and he smiled and let out a small laugh.

"I don't know. I mean, I've been with plenty of guys before...but I've never liked anyone this much. It's making me nervous." He said to us and trust me I'd be there before. All he needed to do was make a move.

"What is we get a group together tomorrow for a binge party? We'll invite Florian, he'll get hooked on the show, and you, and start watching more episodes, with fewer people around, at night time. Just take it one step at a time." Kitty said and looked at him.

"I'll be there tomorrow night." I said to him and he smiled at me. I would rather be in that dorm then in my new one.

"Thank you. And yeah. Right. Like how you flew across the world for Dae without telling him." Q said turning it around on Kitty just a little bit.

"Hey, if I hadn't, I wouldn't have met you. And I wouldn't have discovered I have a half-sibling somewhere in Korea." She said with a smile. No one could top that.

"You got me there." Q said to her.

"Got me too." I said to her. I was kinda hoping this couch would swallow me up. It would be better than my dorm wouldn't. But yet again there could be gum in it. Maybe not. Kitty looked sad.

"What sucks is that I can't tell Dae about any of this because Yuri is always around. I miss my best friend." She said and I was definitely not going to take that to heart.

"Ouch, I thought I was your best friend." I said to her and she looked at me.

"Your more of a sister than a best friend." She said to me and I smiled at her. That was better than I imagined.

"I'd rather be that." I said to her making her smile. She still seemed sad though.

"Well, I might know one place Dae will be that Yuri definitely won't. Nature. That girl's not outdoorsy, and you're talking to the president of KISS's Outdoors Club. First hike is tomorrow." He said to us and I smiled at him.

"Well I'm glad who I know who will be leading the hike." I said to him, this seemed like a place Minho wouldn't be as well. We then heard the zombies snarling again in the show. The next day I was going around to my old dorm. For two reasons. Coffee and coffee. I guess it was more of one. When I walked in I saw Minho. Alone.

"Why are you here?" He asked me and I looked at him. I was looking like I was ready for a hike.

"Coffee. I need coffee. I thought I was losing my sanity but it's because I haven't had coffee." I said to him and that's when I remembered my dream. But he was in a robe, not shirtless although he was underneath. Thankfully there was already coffee in the pot.

"And I thought I'd seen your low point. Although I'd thought you'd lose your sanity in this dorm." He said to me and I filled my travel cup.

"Listen, I don't have time for this. I can still hear all those sounds from last night." I said to him, he looked at me as if he'd almost felt bad for him.

"Try white noise, that'll probably help." He said to me and for once no snarky comments.

"I will. Now I've got a hike." I said to him with a smile before I left.

"Enjoy it." He said to me with a smile, he seemed like he was being genuine. I then left with my coffee and I made it outside to the meeting point.

"All right, people, welcome to KISS's Outdoors Club. First rule of Outdoors Club: please talk about Outdoors Club. That would be very helpful because we did lose a few members this summer. All right, let's get started with some stretches alright." Q said and I started doing my stretches. Finally I'd be immersed in the Outdoors again.

"Sorry I'm late." Dae said when he came in and he could finally talk with Kitty.

"Oh, hey." Q said to him and then he saw Kitty. He started doing his stretches next to me and Q. Kitty waved at Dae and he left us. I watched them, they could talk. Finally. Then she turned up.

"Sorry, guys, I'm late. Sorry." Yuri said before walking away with Dae. Who told her about this. Kitty walked over to someone else. They must've been talking about her.

"All right, who's ready to go on a hike?" A voice I asked and I knew exactly who it was. Minho, but why was I kind of happy he was here. Since that dream it's like my thoughts on him have changed and I hate it.

"Minho! What are you doing here?" Q asked him and  I was hoping he was just passing through.

"What? Cant I hang with my best friends?" He asked and I looked at him.

"Your definitely obsessed with me showing up here." I said to him and he looked at me. He remembered the other day.

"Keep saying that." He said to me and I looked at him.

"If you weren't then you wouldn't be here." I said to him and he looked at me. He definitely wasn't impressed.

"We can talk on the hike. Let's go people. Make sure you stay hydrated. I really hope you guys used the bathroom, because there are none." Q said and we started our work through Seoul to get to our climbing destination. We then started our uphill hike. "You guys are making great time! Let's keep up the pace, people." Q said to us and then that's when Yuri started to squeal.

"Worms, worms, worms!" Yuri shouted as she started running. Minho looked like he was struggling.

"Ahjussi, did you need your stick?" I asked him with a smile and he looked at me.

"No, I'm fine without one. And I'm not an Ahjussi." He said to me, well he clearly needed one.

"We're in nature. Embrace it." Q said to us and he was right. Nature deserved to be embraced. Besides they were just worms.

"Is it on me! I thought the worm followed me! Where is it?" She said as she stopped and I saw Kitty run over to Dae. They stared to talk.

"Why'd you even come here? Your not someone I pictured to go hiking." I said to him and he looked me.

"Maybe because I feel left out. All I hear about is Kitty and I just wanted to talk with my friends but instead here I am talking to you." He said to me and he was turning soft. I want the old Minho back.

"If it makes you feel any better all I hear is Dae along a lot of other things now. I wanted sometime away from the drama but there's more now. I don't even know why I'm telling you this." I said and then I saw Kitty trip and Dae catches her. Minho stopped. I stopped as well.

"You don't have to wait for me." He said to me and I looked at him.

"We could both use a friend, so I'm waiting." I said to him, I couldn't believe I was going soft on him.

"Are you good?" Q asked as he went over to her.

"I'm good." Kitty said to him.

"Are you sure? Because in the Outdoors Club, the only thing we take more seriously than cardiovascular endurance is safety!" Q shouted and that was important which is why I was babysitting Minho.

"Aw, don't worry, Kitty. It wasn't as bad as when you fell into the cupcakes." Yuri said before walking away and I looked at Minho. Even more drama. Most people would love it for me I'd had enough.

"Hmm. I'm more worried about you and those worms." Kitty said before the two of them walked off together, we then started to walk again. Then the girls started racing.

"Just make sure you stick together!" Q shouted at them both.

"I can't even be asked to run. I'm staying back here." I said to them all. Looks like I was stuck with the guys.

"Why did you come?" Dae asked Minho and I looked at him.

"I've been asking the same thing." I said to him, he definitely had a reason for being here.

"Because I'm looking out for you. That's why I called Yuri." He said and I looked at him, so this was his fault that all this was happening.

"Let me deal with it on my own!" Dae said to him before walking away leaving Minho and I.

"Your the one who invited Yuri. Jejeongsin-iya!" I said to him and he looked at me.

"I was trying to help the situation out." He said to me and we kept walking. I kept seeing that Minho was struggling. I was taking they as a win. For me at least. I then saw Kitty run past.

"Kitty, where are you?" Q asked her, I hope she had an answer.

"What's going on?" I asked her and she looked at the two of us.

"I'll tell you later. Have so much fun tonight. I'll be with you in spirit!" She said as she passed us. That was weird.

"Is she okay?" Q asked me and I looked at him. I never truly knew.

"On this occasion I think yes." I said to him and then Minho looked at the two of us.

"What's happening tonight?" He asked us, we weren't telling him.

"Nothing." We both said, the least we needed was more drama. Soon it would be time for the date. And when it was time I made sure to where a comfortable. I was hoping I'd fall asleep, they kick a girl out thats asleep right. I watched as Q pulled a tv screen in. I was sat at the end next to Florian.

"I present to you...The Devil's Daughter. It's a lot to take in, so no talking." He said and the show started playing. I was glad I was here. Even if you know who would be around. I saw the door open to Q and Minho's room. And out he walked.

"Hey, my mom is in this. She plays the king's second daughter." Minho said, of course his mom was an actress.

"Oh, yeah? Does she still act?" Florian asked and me and Q gave each other a look. Well, this night was going to be ruined.

"Oh, yeah, she's absolutely smashing it right now in L.A. She's up for a role as a mermaid in the mafia." He said as he started walking over to the sofa.

"Like that makes sense." I uttered under my breath. In what would a mermaid ever be in the mafia.

"I'd watch that." One of the other two guys said.

"Mm. Scooch over." Minho said and he sat on the sofa. Causing me to have no space at all. I definitely wasn't falling asleep now. "Hey." He said to Florian.

"Hey." Florian said to him.

"Oh, I could give you guys the behind-the-scenes dirt on this." He said and I rolled my eyes, I'd rather just watch the show.

"Okay. I love dirt." Florian said and Q and I looked at each other. His perfect evening, was no longer perfect.

"Yeah? Yeah." He said back and I leaned into him.

"So obsessed with me." I whispered in his ear and he looked at me.

"Get over yourself. Besides who's dorm are we in? Not yours. Are we sure it's not you?" He asked me and I looked at him.

"Jugeullae?" I asked him and he shook his head and looked away. All I wanted to do was watch the show. That's at least what I was trying to do. Nearly every scene was a comment I saw Florian go to take Q's hand and I smiled.

"It took that guy 20 takes to nail that." Minho said, what did he want out it. I couldn't care how long any of this took.

"Oh, cool." Florian said to him. His and Q's hands were no longer touching. Minho needed to stop being a cockblock.

"Oh, hey, look! It's my mom." He said as he pointed at the screen. She was beautiful.

"Oh, wow. Dude, she's gorgeous." Florian said and there was no lie there.

"I know. Thank God I got her bone structure." He said and I looked at him. Mainly his face.

"Shame you didn't get her beauty as well." I said to him and he glared at me. Listen after how soft we'd been with each other day, I had make sure we went back to our old ways.

"Didn't your mom and dad have that messy divorce?" One of the guys asked Minho. I didn't know his parents were divorced, I could kinda see why he has so many walls up.

"The whole mess was exaggerated to sell magazines. But, yeah, they did get divorced." He said to us and he looked sad. I was kinda feeling bad now.

"Yeah, my parents are going it right now. It's just- -I can't concentrate on anything. Like, it's really, really sad." Florian said and I felt bad for him. I couldn't imagine what he was going through.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't know you were going through that." Q said to him, Florian needed someone in a time like this.

"Yeah." Florian said and I saw the two look each other. Finally! But that didn't last long as Minho was tapping Florian's shoulder.

"See that guy? Total douchebag in real life. My mom couldn't wait to stab him to death in the finale." Minho said and we all looked at him. He did not just spoil the show.

"Spoiler alert!" One of the guys said.

"Thanks for that Minho." I said to him while rolling my eyes.

"Great. Now we know how it ends. I should be studying in the library right now, anyway. My parents can be pretty hard about grades. Thank you for the show." Florian said as he stood up to go. Q and I hit Minho.

"Ow." He said while looking at the two of us we just stared at him.

"Q? Maybe just me and you next time?" Florian asked him and I smiled. It had worked when the door closed I looked at Q.

"I told you, it would work." I said before giving a high five. I was happy for him. And now I finally had some space so that I could nap. I would need as much rest as possible. Especially if I was heading back to my dorm. I only woke up when the thunder started. Along with the rain. I saw Minho sat beside me. The first time it struck I accidentally grabbed his hand.

"What are you doing?" He asked me and I looked at him and quickly retracted my hand.

"It was a reflex, I tend to grab closest thing when there's thunder." I said to him, I wasn't going to lie I was scared of it.

"Don't let it happen again." He said to me and I nodded.

"Wouldn't dream of it." I said to him. Talking of dreams I was not having the dream the other night come true. I went to get a coffee. And every time the lighting struck I jumped. I heard the door open.

"You're here." Dae said and it was silent. "How was your day?" Dae asked it was still silent. Minho was not in a mood to talk.

"I'm just gonna go." I said before leaving for my dorm. The dorm filled with all those noises. I needed to get out of there, I then saw Kitty.

"No you don't." She said while pulling me away.

"What's happening?" I asked her, and she looked at me.

"I'll explain." She said to me and we went back to the boys dorm. "Is Q here? We have eight minutes until curfew." Kitty said to them as we entered.

"Yeah, in his room." Dae said and Kitty dragged me in there.

"Okay." She said before knocking on his door.

"Come in." He said and we entered, I wanted to know what this was about now. She'd discovered something at the hospital.

"And when I was at the hospital, look what I found." She said while showing us her phone. "Adopted by Australian parents, just like professor Finnerty, and born around the same time. He could totally be my hand-brother." She said to us and I was trying to comprehend all of this.

"I'm gonna need you to go back." I said to her, I was too tired to understand all this.

"Okay, what?" He asked her.

"The facts add up!" She said to us and I looked at her.

"It could be a coincidence." I said to her, I didn't want her to get her hopes up.

"I don't know, Kitty. This could just be a huge coincidence, like Y/n said. I mean a lot of Korean kids are adopted by Australians." He said to her, that was a true fact. There could've been hundreds of kids at that time.

"But why else would he be at KISS? He's probably also looking for answers. Answers we can find together as brother and sister." Kitty said with a big smile. She'd gotten her hopes up too high.

"Whoa. I think you need a little bit more evidence. You're gonna be dropping a lot of information on him, including the fact that his birth mom is, well...not alive." Q said and he was right I looked at her.

"Exactly, it's not an easy conversation to have. But you also need to be 100% sure that your right when you tell him this. You don't want to give him hope that your his little sister, when your not." I said to her and I saw her rethink a lot of things on her face.

"Yeah, you both may be right. But I just get the feeling that my mom kept that bracelet for a reason. I think she wanted to find the baby one day." Kitty said to us and we heard knocking on the door. Minho and Dae.

"We need to show you both something." Dae said and we both followed the laptop was open.

"Someone's been selling your hair, and some of them have been made into dolls." Minho said to me and I started shuddering.

"I knew that I was missing my hair and now that's why it's gone. I knew I should've said it wasn't natural." I said while shuddering again that was disgusting.

"Yeah, I was wondering if you were somehow balding in a different way." Minho said to me and I hit him on the shoulder. "Ow." He said to me.

"You deserved it that time. But I can't stay there, I'm gonna have to wear a shower cap all the time." I said while thinking of that thought. At least nothing would happen to it. The next was a livestream of Kitty sleeping.

"What? My roommate put me on some weird website as I was sleeping? My God." Kitty said I hugged her, the two of us really drew the short straw.

"I don't see the appeal. For either things." Minho said but yet he was the one who found these things.

"Yet you somehow found the sites." Q said to him and Dae closed the laptop.

"Funny way to say your balding and still play with dolls." I said to Minho and I was willing to take any comment back.

"Kitty and Y/n, you should move. You can't live with these girls anymore." Dae said and I definitely didn't want to. I'd rather sleep in a bin.

"Yeah, I agree with Dae. This is kind of sketchy." Q said and I was glad he wanted to help us. This was more than sketchy though. Creepy.

"We tried to move. There are no other rooms." Kitty said and I looked at her.

"We just have to suffer, don't be surprised if I'm bald one day." I said to all of them. I'd be wanting to buy my own hair back then. That's something I never thought I'd say.

"Uh, how about a hotel? My driver could take you right now." Minho said to us, I didn't have that much money and I couldn't ask my dad. I couldn't even stay with my Eemos or my Halmeoni.

"Can't afford that for an entire semester." Kitty said to us.

"I'm sure Dae can hook you up with a discount at Han Hotels." Minho said and I looked at Kitty, we still wouldn't be able to afford it.

"Shut up, Minho." Kitty said and I agreed with her.

"Please." I said to him and he turned around.

"All right. Just trying to help." He said and Q looked at me.

"What about your family over here?" He asked me and I looked at him.

"They live in Asan and a few live in Busan. That's too far to travel for school." I said to him and we had no choice.

"Okay, I have an idea. Kitty and Y/n should live here." Q said and I liked the idea. It would be a lot better and it worked before.

"With who? Dae?" Minho asked the lightning struck again and this time I held Kitty.

"No!" Kitty and Dae said at the same time.

"Okay, just listen to me for a second. You and I will switch rooms. Kitty and Y/n can bunk with me. You bunk with Dae. I mean, what do you guys think?" Q asked us and I looked at him with a smile.

"Give me ten minutes, I need to get my suitcase and leave. Hopefully with everything in tact." I said to him with a smile and that was exactly what I did. Who cares who I was with. No more harm would happen to me.
