Krystal sat next to Jayden on a log that overlooked the mountain vista. The lake shone a deep turquoise which drastically contrasted the the warm green pine trees that surrounded it. Some elk played in some tall grass near the shore of the body of water.

Jayden glanced over at Krystal, almost disturbed at how much her personality has changed over the course of their journey. Before her eyes were a shiny black color. Now, after Hugo's manipulation, her eyes looked as if they were covered with a thin layer of frost. She was perpetually in a dazed state, almost always tripping over her feet as she walked.

Krystal leaned against Jayden, putting her head on his shoulder. Jayden stiffened, his eyes widened. He retracted his arms from his sides, and stood up abruptly.

She looked up at him, confused at his reaction, "Don't you love me?"

Jayden explained uncomfortably, "Forgive me, I do not like to be touched."

"I'm sorry, I didn't know," She apologized.

Jayden nodded, and walked away, leaving Krystal sitting on the log by herself, still trying to process what happened.

Lila gradually opened her eyes halfway and looked at Sukoyaka who also had his eyes halfway open. She rapidly blinked her eyes 26 times, signaling the amount of letters in the alphabet.

She then blinked numbers that corresponded to letters: Tied.

Sukoyaka waited to make sure nobody saw him, I not. Then he waited again and then glanced at the snowman model behind Lila, Behind not Jayden.
