Brainstorm

Diesel walked in, "Hi guys," She started to say, "I didn't find Krystal but-"

She looked over to see Hugo free of his restraints, with his forehead on the table, "Did I miss something???"

Sukoyaka awkwardly patted him on the back.

"Okay, now I know I missed something," Diesel reasoned, "Does he have the ethical program?"

"Yeah," Sukoyaka replied.

"Hugo," Lila asked gently as she pulled out a chair and sat in it, "What you were trying to do to the humans."

Hugo shook his head.

Arik tried explaining the situation, "We need to know so that they don't die."

He still shook his head.

"Look at me, Hugo," Lila said.

He rested his forearms on the table, and lifted his head off the surface, then turned his face to Lila.

"If you don't tell us," Lila said a little more forcefully, "You will have even more blood on your hands. Do you want that?"

"No," Hugo replied mournfully. He gathered his thoughts, "I was going have them poison the water supply."

Arik's eyes widened, "So that's what you meant when you said nothing would be left... If the water's poisoned then anything - animal, or human - Would die when they ingest it."

"How did you plan on executing your plan?" Jayden asked.

Hugo said breathlessly, "We would find anything that counted as poison, and release it into the water supply."

"Wait," Lila noticed his word choice, "Have you already done this?"

"Not yet," He replied, "The others are still finding the supplies as we speak."

"What would those supplies include?" Sukoyaka asked.

"Anything poisonous; lighter fuel, motor oil, insect repellent," Hugo was irritated with himself, and the situation he got himself into, "I told Emmett to store them somewhere."

"Where?" Lila asked.

"I don't know," Hugo explained, "I told him not to tell me, in case I was in a situation where I was captured."

Diesel contemplated where they might be, then she came up with an answer, "The tents!" She exclaimed.

Everyone looked at her.

She explained, "When I was getting the computers, I noticed that all of the tents had different types of things in each one. There was one with chemicals and stuff in it. That must be it!"

"Then it would most likely be under guard," Jayden reasoned.

Arik responded, "And that's probably why Krystal was there."

"But why would they use Krystal as a guard?" Lila asked, "She isn't very durable, and she's Hugo's counterpart; she's too valuable to lose," She gestured, "And besides, Emmet would be guarding it, since he's probably the only one you told about its location."

Hugo nodded.

"You're right, I did see him standing outside the area," Arik admitted, "But he would've been too far away to do anything."

Sukoyaka had an idea, "The poison could be hidden somewhere..."

"Yes," Jayden perked up, "Perhaps in a cooler or a suitcase."

"I remember a room filled all the way up with suitcases," Diesel recalled, "It has to be there!"

"So now we have a pretty good idea where it is," Sukoyaka said, "But what do we do about it?"

Jayden considered the facts of the situation, "All of the substances Hugo mentioned are highly flammable, so we could set fire to them," He thought some more, "However, whoever is going to do this would need to get as far away as possible, since there would be a sizable explosion due to the built-up pressure of the aerosol cans and all the oil and fuel."

"So all we need now is something to start the fire..." Lila mentioned.

There was a long silence.

Lorelei's voice announced from the other room, "I have a lighter in my coat pocket, would that work?"

Arik retrieved the lighter from her, "Yeah, this'll work. Thank you."

"No problem," Lorelei replied, "Just doing my job."

"Okay," Sukoyaka said, "We have a lighter now, so, what's the plan?"

"I know where everything is," Diesel said, "I could do it."

"All tents are required by law to be flame retardant, so you would have to go inside of it to ignite the materials," Jayden reasoned.

"I don't know if I like that," Diesel warned, "I was shot at with arrows a couple of times from the surface."

"Couldn't we do that too?" Arik questioned, "You just said that the fire would have to be set in the tent. So, why couldn't we shoot flaming arrows into the tent?"

"But the flame would go out once it hits the cold air," Sukoyaka countered, "We need some sort of lighter fluid."

"And all of that's in the tent," Hugo replied remorsefully.

"Maybe not," Lila answered, "Does anyone know where we might find a boat or a car? Any type of vehicle for that matter; but not too close, so we can make sure that they haven't already picked them over."

"Hang on," Diesel said as she pulled the map from her pack. She looked over it, "Yep, there's rental boats docked about five miles from here, they're below us, on the ground. I can go there too, It'll be much faster by air."

"Then let's get going!" Sukoyaka expressed his excitement.
