38 - Jiro Kyoka

3rd Person's POV

Yaoyorozu and Todoroki stared at Bakugo, who was still raising his eyebrow at the purple haired girl named Jiro Kyoka.

"Well? If you don't wanna sit then scram, fucker." Bakugo growled, his hands folded on his chest.

"Y-yes, yes well-" Jiro nervously eyed Yaoyorozu before taking a seat next to her. The four fell silent again.

"Talk." Bakugo demanded as Jiro flinched.

"Well, I wanted to apologize-"

"For?"

"For.." Jiro didn't look up at the three. Her own nails seemed much more interesting at the moment. She inhaled, "for talking behind you two's backs... I'm sorry."

Silence again engulfed them. Bakugo made a tch sound.

"What? That's all?" He scoffed. "Alright, then me and my friends can continue our little chitchat-"

"Wait, no!" Jiro looked up at Bakugo again, shaking. "No wait, i- there's more."

"Oh? Then talk."

"Look, I know that  the day Ochaco-san was, well, criticizing you two, I was with her. We really thought you two weren't capable to form a healthy relationship." Jiro paused, then noticing the glare coming from Bakugo he quickly added. "Well, we're were forced to think anyway."

"Forced to think, you say?" Bakugo said with a cold voice. "And which fucker might have forced you to believe that we were not a healthy couple?"

They all saw the purple head shift a bit uncomfortably in her chair, coughing a bit before throwing her gaze on her nails again.

"Well?" Yaoyorozu then asked.

"Ochaco-san." Jiro exhaled. "But I swear, the moment I saw you guys I knew it was a lie. It took me a while to realize that she was wrong, and when I did, it was too late. The same goes for Midoriya-san. Iida-kun and most of us. Trust me, we're all really sorry but we didn't know how to approach you guys. Specially Midoriya-san, he didn't know how to face you guys. And after Momo-san had knocked some sense into us, rather rudely I must say," Jiro eyed Yaoyorozu, tad bit of hurt in her eyes, "well, most of us realized how blind, oblivious and controlled we were."

"Oh cool, so now they all sent you with an apology on their behalf?" Todoroki said with the same cold voice as Bakugo's.

"What? No no!" Jiro patted her hands. "No, I just happened to have enough courage to come up to you three and talk my heart out. That's all. I want to start everything over with you- you all." Jiro said confidently. "But it's of course your decision if you want to forgive me or not."

"How do we know you're not here as a secret agent from them or something?" Bakugo said and quickly realized what a foolish sentence that was. "Like, you can just be pretending to be apologetic while being a fucking prat inside."

"That," Jiro glanced at Yaoyorozu for a quick second. "Is for you all to detect, whether I'm pretending or not. I wanted to lift this off my chest, I did. And just another information to give you Momo-san," she was now fully turning to Yaoyorozu, "Mina wasn't the best one out there. You can do better than that. Look around, there might be some other person who's more dedicated towards you." She smiled, stood up and handed Todoroki a piece of paper from her bag.

"Me, Midoriya, Iida, Tsuyu, we're having a Karaoke night tomorrow. It'd be nice if you think of joining us. The address of the place and time are written on the paper. We'll be looking forward to seeing you all." She looked at all three of them, her gaze lingering at Yaoyorozu's eyed for a bit more seconds before she smiled and walked away with a small 'bye'.

"Well, that was unexpected." Yaoyorozu started when the other girl was no longer to be seen. Todoroki nodded.

"It was.." Bakugo stared at the chair where Jiro has sat, swimming in his own thoughts. Todoroki stared at the paper and Yaoyorozu was zoning out.

"Well then, let's order some food. Waiter!"

"Hey, what do you think about her?" Came Todoroki's muffled voice from the pillow he was squashing his face with.

"Who?" Bakugo said distractedly whilst carefully gluing the picture of an ancient hero on the assignment paper.

It was almost 10 pm. Both of them were in Todoroki's dorm room. Tokoyami had just gone back to his own room after working for 3 hours with the pair of them. The guy had collected some informations and Todoroki had written them down on the big paper they were using. Bakugo had been downloading and printing pictures of different heroes or villains who used and misused their quirks for good and bad deeds. It was bit of a struggle, as they had no idea about these people they were supposed to present as examples. After Tokoyami had gone back to his room Todoroki slumped on his bed and was silent for a long time while Bakugo was putting the pictures in their place. And this was the first question coming out of the dual haired male's system.

"Jiro Kyoka. She seemed fairly devoted." Said todoroki tiredly.

"Yeah," Bakugo paused for a moment. "Did you notice something odd about her?"

"Other than she was devoted for our acceptance, no."

"Yeah, you're one oblivious dumbass." Bakugo smirked. "Momo is one too."

"What makes you say that?" Todoroki's head perked up from the pillow, his eyes sleepy

"She didn't notice it either."

Todoroki groaned. "Either tell me what it is or let me sleep."

"Geezers, you're the one who questioned me first." Bakugo scoffed. "Go back to sleep fucker."

"I'm a Virgin.." Todoroki mumbled sleepily before straying off to dreamland.

"Dumbass." Bakugo muttered under his breathe. He sighed.

There really was something odd about Jiro. Something only Bakugo noticed.

Whenever Jiro would look at Yaoyorozu, her eyes had glittered like stars at night. They would sparkle and linger longer on Yaoyorozu's own dark orbs. Jiro would tense up every time Yaoyorozu spoke to her. And all of this was way too familiar to Bakugo.

Because he had experienced the same things.

Bakugo turned his gaze to Todoroki to have a closer look at his boyfriend's senseless self. Awh.

He looked way too cute while sleeping.

Bakugo's heart raced and he stood up automatically, his body was out of his controlled when he sat on the bed and leaned down to Todoroki's sleeping face. Feeling the other's breathe land on his own nose, Bakugo placed his lips on top of Todoroki's who responded with a slight jerk and a soft mumble of God knows what.

This is what Jiro felt, the happiness inside Bakugo at the moment.

Because, Bakugo thought, Jiro was indeed in love with Yaoyorozu.

"You did WHAT?" Midoriya screamed when Jiro told him what had happened in the shopping mall. "Oh no, Jiro San, how am I going to face them? Todoroki? Kacchan? How?"

"Calm down, Midoriya." Iida's hands went up in the air in a effort of calm the green haired male down.

Asui blinked with her right hand pointed at her tongue. "How did Bakugo ribbit allow you to talk?"

Jiro looked at Asui, and blinked a couple of times herself. "I don't know, he told me to 'talk and scram'. And I did. Midoriya," she looked back at Midoriya, "look. I'm sure they won't come. We've badmouthed them enough for them to not have anything to do with us. At least, that's what Momo said.." she trailed off, spacing out.

"It's quite true." Iida nodded. "They are of course not willing to join us into a friendly singing session after what we did."

"I wish we weren't manipulated like that by...her" Midoriya mumbled.

The rest of them stared at him while he continued to mumble under his breathe.

Yaoyorozu watched as the calmness of the water was interrupted by a bunch of ducks swimming and shaking their feathers. The lake was wearing a orangish color, mimicking the evening sky. A single tear fell down on her left cheek without a warning.

The brunette clenched the picture she had in hand. A picture of her and a certain pink skinned female, smiling, standing on the same place she was standing now.

'You can do better than that.'

Jiro's voice rang in her ears.

'Look around, there might be some other person who's more dedicated towards you.' Yaoyorozu heard her brain repeating this sentence over and over again, in the voice of Jiro Kyoka.

"Can I really get over my love for her?" Yaoyorozu looked at the picture. "Can I really forget you and love someone else?"

Yes, you can. She heard her brain say, for some odd reason, in Jiro's voice. You don't need to love someone who's not willing to accept you and your friends. You don't need to love someone who can't see the truth behind all the walls of lies. You don't need to love someone who doesn't trust you enough to support your decision. Instead, love someone who'll accept you for who you are. Love someone who has their own personality and doesn't get controlled by people. Love someone who's in their right state of mind and has respect for everyone. Someone who's kind, generous and the one for you.

Yaoyorozu held up her free hand to her cheek and wiped off the single tear. Along with that tear, she wiped off all the sadness she felt for losing someone who didn't know how to respect and support her fellow classmates.

She tore the picture into half, tore into two more pieces and threw them into the lake, throwing all her feelings with it.

"From now on," Yaoyorozu said confidently, smiling wide. "I will start my journey of looking for my 'some other person.'

"There was a purple head with them today." Said a girl while munching on a chicken nugget.

"Purple head?" An eyebrow was raised.

"Yeah. Girl with saggy earlobes."

"Another U.A kid,"  another voice said with a smirk. "This just keeps getting more and more interesting."
