31 - final decision
«3rd person's POV»
"Are you nervous?" Bakugo asked feeling the hand he had been squeezing onto for hours shaking.
Todoroki shook his head in denial while keeping his head low. though it was pretty obvious to both his boyfriend and best friend that he was in fact nervous. Nerve wrecked even.
He had made his final decision about the contract. He had thought hard about it, and no. he never in his life would be willing to sacrifice his red gem for mere property. He had always been stubborn about loved ones. made sense why he had been so traumatized about his mom leaving. Being taken away from his sibling, he never really had a chance to feel the beautiful emotion of love. His stubbornness had been lost in a monotonous, hard working and puppet-like life. He only changed when Katsuki Bakugo was brave and patient enough to step fully in his life. And he by now had realized it many times in many ways, the blond was the one reason all the joy and merriment in his life had returned. And like how he had promised, he wasn't going to let go of his red gem until death do them apart with its own hands.
So he had made his decision. Money was worthless to him when it challanged his business in the love department.
"Shoto, don't be nervous. If anything bad happens, we are right here on the other side of the door." Yaomomo tried to lighten the pressure, massaging todoorki's shoulders while he just have them a small smile.
He looked at his lover once more and planted a soft peck on his nose. "I can do this."
Bakugo smirked slightly and held his boyfriend's hands. "No, we can. Together."
Todoroki returned the small smirk towards both of them and entered his father's chamber, taking a deep breathe.
Both Bakugo and Yaoyorozu eyed as the dual male disappeared behind the automatic door. Bakugo let out a breathe he didn't know he was holding. then he looked at Yaoyorozu and started.
"So what's up with raccoon eyes and you?"
Yaomomo's eyes doubled as she jumped a little from the sudden question. her heart beat fast painfully hearing that one name. Though it wasn't really her real name.
"N-nothing. We are totally cool." She said, her side bang falling on her face to hide her tears.
"Hey." Bakugo pushed Yaoyorozu's side bang on her ear to reveal her watery eyes. "Dont try to lie to me. I've been watching you guys for a while now."
Bakugo's voice was soft and caringm but Yaomomo had her pride, despite the obvious tears cornering in her eyes. "I don't know what you've watched, but there's really nothing between us."
"Momo," Bakugo held her by the shoulders. "I haven't known you for a long time, but do you really think you can lie to me?"
"This is not fair." A tear rolled down from Yaomomo's left eye. "How can you read me so easily?"
And just like that, the black haired female broke into tears in the blond's arms. Yearning for comfort, she just cried and let out muffled words Bakugo didn't understand. Though he didn't want to have such a thought at such a moment, the fact that Yaomomo was taller than him still roamed its way in his head.
Yaomomo had let out everything in those muffled words. The Times she spent with ashido, the moments she shared with her beloved one, the midnight facetimes and nacho sleepovers they had when any of them were upset, and just every emotion she felt when bring next to ashido. Bakugo hummed in response not knowing how to feel.
A heartbreak is an experience he never had had. Whether it be because he never had really loved anyone but his family or because he had great choice in men. He personally believed heartbreak was a mere show. Emotions danced there, and when they finished performing you would go back to yourself again. But right then and there in front of his eyes when he saw his best friend breaking down just because of a heartbreak, he couldn't count it as mere anymore. Yaoyorozu had a pride and Bakugo knew it. She wasn't someone to open up so randomly if it's not very serious. much like Todoroki, but for some reason it was harder when it came to that guy.
He wasn't really sure how to comfort the girl in his embrace. so he kept stroking on her back and humming in a low tone, just hoping it would help even a little. why was he so bad at comforting people?
"I maybe even have loved her Katsuki. I loved her bubblegum pink skin, her beautiful full smile, her night sky like eyes, those cute antennas on top of her head, her short hair, her cute nose and just everything about her. I fell for them. But what did I get in return?" Yaoyorozu sobbed out. "A heartbreak."
"Is it because of us?"
"Huh?" She flinched, facing the blond.
"Is it because of me and shoto? You did kind of left them for us." Bakugo said, scratching a nonexistant itch on his neck.
"Katsuki, no!" Yaoyorozu yelled. "I didn't leave the squad because I wanted to, I still genuinely lo e them all. I left them brcasue I was disgusted by their doings. And I didn't want to involve myself in that mess. Shoto already misunderstood Izuku and to be fairly honest, he is harmless. If there's someone you two should confront and punish, it'd be Ochaco. She kind of manipulated and dragged everyone in this. If you take a look around the classroom, you can regrets filling their eyes. I didn't want to have that regret in my eye. so I did what was right. You two are my best friend, yes. But they have also been with me in hard times and it really took me a great passion to just spit out words on their faces and leave."
Bakugo couldn't hear anything after the Uraraka part. His brain couldn't capture anything else.
"Round face forced them?"

he door had automatically closed after Todoroki entered the room. He sighed and looked around to spot an angry man with red hair but all he found was a chair facing backwards.
"You have come, I see." Enji said. His voice suddenly sounding calm, happy even? Todoroki was left speechless for a few seconds but Enji continued anyways.
"I hope you have made your decision."
"I have."
Enji's eyes lit up as he slowly turned towards his son. Thinking his son had finally got to his senses, he was happy. "I'm glad."
"Youre glad?" Todoroki asked, surprised.
"That you made this decision. It was wise to choose this way. thank you."
As much as Todoroki wanted to hear more of these soft, kind and encouraging words from his father, he knew that these were fake. fake affection, fake love, fake kindness, fake adore. Everything was just fake when it came to the man standing in front of him. So he was able to catch himself from falling deep on the other's trap, reminding that these were fake.
They stood there in silence for about two minutes which felt like hours to Todoroki. it wasn't easy for him to spit out those words. because no matter what, it was his father who he was standing in front of right then. A man he feared, disrespected and hated. or so he had thought.
He started with a shaky voice.
"Have you asked me what my decision is yet?"
"What do you mean? You clearly won't let go of such vast property and I know it. I know my son."
"Well, guessing I'm not your son then." Todoroki smirked.
"What?" Enji's eyes started to double and redden.

"The DNA report has arrived." A man said, handing papers to a black haired male."
A blond girl sprinted out from her seat and peeked at the report. "Oh~ you really are his son. Woah~"
"Are you sure about this, Dabi?" The pale skinned male came up to him eyeing the DNA report.
"A DNA report never fails, Shiggy." 5he black haired man smirked. "Oh and, the name's Touya."
He stared at the reports again. "Touya Todoroki."

Hi lol
I was reading this book yesterday, and came to the realization that its become really complicated. "The climax point of a book" is what I'd like to call it. And I'm like, kinda proud?? Like Woah. Never had I imagined me writing so many chapters and people actually reading this crap. But thank you all, everyone if you are precious to me💖💖
Is the plot boring though? Like are you guys enjoying the storyline? Cos I'm kinda not so confident about these.
Bye uwu💫
