(Y/N POV)

5 more minutes, please?

I shoved a pillow over my head hoping to block out the sound of Friday's voice. Normally I don't have to wake up this early, but apparently my father wanted to have a discussion.

"My apologies, Miss Stark, but your father is very impatient," Friday said, turning the lights on in my room. "I would recommend you get up."

"Jesus, it's 5am," I complained. "I don't even go to school, so why so early?"

I rolled out of my bed, falling onto the floor. I was too tired to even walk, mainly because I spent all of last night watching YouTube videos of Captain America. I may have a slight crush on Steve Rogers, but nobody except J.A.R.V.I.S knew. And after all that 'Ultron' stuff last year, Jarvis is now Vision, so I assume Vision knows about it.

"Friday, roll me to Dad's office," I commanded, knowing very well what response I was going to get.

"I am informing you for the 1,356 time, that I cannot roll you to your father's office. You can roll yourself, or use your legs."

"Great, thanks Friday," I mumbled, slowly standing up.

I stumbled my way down to the elevator, and waited for it to arrive. Once it did, I pressed the button to take me to floor 6. I rubbed my eyes in an attempt to wake me up, but I still could barely stay awake.

"Oh, there you are," my dad said, as soon as I walked out of the elevator. "I wanted to talk to you."

"At 5 in the morning?"

"Yes, because that gives me an hour to explain everything to you, an hour for you to get ready, and an hour to get to where you're going."

I raised an eyebrow.

"Is this a mission?" I asked. "Does it also happen to involve Steve?"

My dad sighed, and picked up a screw from next to him. He walked over to one of his latest inventions and started fixing it.

"Yes, this is like a mission, but it's also not." he explained. "And yes, this involves Steve. If you had spent more time watching the news, instead of watching captain america videos, you'd have figured out that Steve is now a criminal."

"What? Steve?" I sputtered. "A-and how did you know about those videos?"

"Don't forget, there's something called 'search history'. And yes, Steve is a criminal because he decided to break the law, just to save a murderer who supposed to be his friend from 100 years ago."

First of all, I was slightly embarrassed that my dad found out about the videos, but I was also slightly confused on what was going on.

"So what's the mission," I asked, "That apparently starts in 3 hours?"

My dad smiled at me, with that smirk he used only when he was planning something.

"School," he said, " Congratulations, your going into sophomore year!"

...........

I did NOT agree to go to school.

Least of all a school called 'Midtown School of Science'.

My dad showed me some YouTube clips of a dude named Spider-man, and told me he was a teenager my age. Apparently my dad wanted to recruit this dude to help take down Steve and the rest of the 'reckless' Avengers.

Now all I had to do was go to to the school, look around at the students, find this spider-kid, and bring the information to my dad.

How hard could it be?

VERY. VERY. HARD.

My dad handed me a list of all my classes, a ton of workbooks to help me 'fit in', a backpack that looked super plain for high school, and a watch for emergencies.

"Just tap on it three times, and it will send me an alert if your in any harm," he stated. "Only use it for emergencies, and not if some random person steals your lunch money."

I laughed.

"It doesn't matter if someone steals my lunch money," I pointed out, "That's not a problem for the Stark family."

"I know, but also don't stand out from the crowd to much," he said, "and even though you inherited my incredibly intelligent brain, you can't answer every question the teachers ask you."

"Yes, typical dad. You compliment yourself in a compliment for me." I mentioned. "And this brain is mine, you have your own."

........

Dad had Happy drive me to the school, which was all the way in Queens. As I was about to get out of the car, my phone buzzed.

Dad man: One more thing, don't tell anybody who you are. Your name is Mila Waters, you moved to queens last week. Okay, have fun honey, don't screw anything up!

I sighed, and shoved my phone into my pocket. Mila waters, huh? I guess could live with that.

I ran up the school stairs, opened the doors, and walked inside. I automatically regretted ever saying yes to this mission. Ever since I was born, my mother was out of the picture. My dad always said that she died after childbirth, but I found out later that she ran away. She said Tony would never love her, so she left him with me and disappeared. My dad was heartbroken, but he got over it when he realized he still had me.

So I grew up in the stark household, nobody in the outside world knowing I existed. I didn't mind, because I had a fear of crowds, and there were no crowds in the Avengers tower.

But there were crowds in high school, and I had to walk through one.

Why did I have a fear of crowds?

Well, when loki first attacked New York, my dad ordered Happy to take me out of the city. He wanted me to be safe. Except, I wanted to help fight Loki myself, and ran away from Happy's care.

I went back to New York, but I got lost in a stampede of people trying to escape the Chitauri. In the mass chaos, nobody noticed when I was knocked over and people started stepping over me.

If Happy hadn't found me, I would probably be crushed to death.

"You're blocking the door," a guy said behind me, "move."

I spun around to see a kid my age staring at me. He had his hair slicked back, and his face read 'TOTAL JERK'.

"Sorry." I mumbled, stepping over to the side.

He shrugged, and started walking further into the crowd. As he was walking, I noticed the back of his shirt said 'FLASH' in bold print. He must have been Flash Thompson, whose name I recognized on the list of sophomores my dad gave me.

He definitely didn't seem like he would be the Spider-Kid.

I ended up waiting for the crowd to disperse, before running to my next class. Quick note to self, arrive at school an hour early to avoid crowds.

...............

I ended up skipping my last class. I didn't need it anyways, I knew every single answer to every single question. But since my dad said I should keep a low profile, I decided not to go to class at all. There was no point anyways, I came here to find the spider-boy, not to learn. As if there's anything left for me to learn anyways...

I skipped down the stairs, and sat down in front of the large black gate in front of the doors. My plan was to wait till school ended, then make a note of every single person that fit the physical descriptions of the Spider-Child.

I pulled up an incognito tab in chrome, making sure to hide my search history from my dad this time, and typed in:

Compilations of Captain America

I had watched almost all the videos, but I didn't mind re-watching. One day I hope on marrying that man anyways, even if he is some war criminal now.

My thoughts were soon cut off, when I heard the school doors open. I glanced down at my watch, noticing that school wasn't supposed to end till another 30 minutes.

I hid myself behind one of the columns, and looked at the delinquent teenager.

I couldn't get a clear visual of them, because they had their hood pulled up in front of their face, but I could see what they were doing. They looked around the area, checking for clearance, before jumping over the 12-foot gate.

And just like that, I found who I was looking for.
