"So we're letting a random kid sleep at my house because..?" Naruto glances over at Hinata who's eyes widen as she had not thought of an excuse for that question yet.

"Because he's lost..?" She laughed nervously.

"Okay, so anyways-." Naruto says before he is cut off by Hinata's cellphone ringing.

"I better take this." She says as he nods facing his attention back to the kid.

"Hello?" She answers and walks to his porch.

"Where are you?" She hears Sasuke's voice on the other end.

"I'm with Naruto." She says as he begins to feel a bit uneasy in his stomach.

"Not sure how I feel about my girlfriend being in another ma-." He gets cut off as Hinata's phone is taken from her hands.

"Hey, she'll have to call you back!" The person holding the phone says before hanging up.

"Hey! That's not cool, Nar-." She stops herself from saying his name.

She then realizes that it's not Naruto standing in front of her but..

"Menma?" She tilts her head.

(Menma's hair is black but this is the only photo I could find lol)

"I missed you!" He hugs her by surprise.

"What are you doing?" Naruto pulls him off.

"What? I haven't seen her in so long!" He whines remembering their childhood days.

When the three of them used to play together until Menma had to move away to Italy with his godfather for the sake of his fathers company.

"Look, I bought you this from Italy!" He said taking out a silver necklace with the letter H surrounded by a heart.

"Oh thank you, it's beautiful!" She said trying it on.

Menma smiled at her which caused Naruto to grunt.

"We really need to start catching up." Menma suggested.

It wasn't until Hinata's phone began to ring again where their conversation cut off.

"May I have my phone back?" She says as he hands it to her only to snatch back.

"Hey, give it back!" She insisted, getting a bit annoyed.

"Don't worry, I'll hold onto it for you! Tonight, you're all mine!" He laughed.

Well yea but I need to tell Sasuke-kun, I'm okay and not to worry.

"Hina, kid's awake." Naruto said causing her to forget about her phone for a second.

"I want it back later." She said as her main priority right now should be the kid.

Menma watched her walk away until she was completely out of view while her phone began to ring some more.

"How bothersome." He said picking up.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Hinata, where-." Sasuke's voice was cut off.

"I'm not Hinata, look stop calling her. She's not interested." Menma answered aggressively.

"Who is this?" Sasuke sounded confused not recognizing the voice to be Naruto's.

Was she lying to him?

Menma looked over to see Hinata and Naruto comforting the kid as to make sure they weren't listening.

"Her boyfriend." He answered causing Sasuke to become annoyed.

"Oh really? My bad then." Sasuke says in an angrily tone causing him to end the call.

He looks up her location and gets his car keys.

"Daisuke-kun, please don't move so much." Hinata places another warm cloth on his forehead.

"Is he here?" The kid asks Hinata. She knows he's referring to Sasuke.

"Not right now but I promise I'll take you to him." She says & places a cup of water right next to him.

"Thank you, onee-san." He says before closing his eyes to rest again.

"Do you care to explain what's going on now?" Naruto crosses his arm while standing at the doorway looking like a dad who just caught their kid sneaking out.

"Hmm? I thought you didn't like kids." Hinata leans in his face which causes him to blush massively and back away.

"I-uh-......did you know "no" means "no" in Spanish?!" He tries to change the subject.

She laughs at his stupid comment but is interrupted by their doorbell.

"Who could that be?" Naruto whispers to himself.

"I got it!" Karin rushes pass them only to be stopped by Menma.

"Who is it?" He asks as she crosses her arms.

"Pizza guy." She answers.

"You ordered pizza? Good, I was starving!" Naruto sounds excited.

"Oh...you guys wanted pizza?" She laughs nervously.

"Wait, you ordered a whole pizza for yourself?" Menma questions her.

"What? Do people not do that?" She starts to get annoyed.

"No! Who orders a whole pizza for themselves?!" Naruto begins to argue as they began to shout back and forth meanwhile Hinata sighs and goes to open the door.

"Sensei?!" She says surprised to see Sasuke standing right in front of her. Although, he seems to be in disguise.

By that she meant, he had his hair split up differently as it looked similar to Sai's. Not to mention the style he was wearing resembled his too.

Don't tell me.....he's disguised as Sai?!

Well, in a way they did sort of look alike.

"Who's this?" Menma walks up to the door and wraps his hand around Hinata.

Did that idiot dye his hair or something? Sasuke thinks a bit shocked by his attitude as it didn't seem anything like the Naruto he knew.

"Her foster brother. I heard you would be here!" Sasuke says as he hugs Hinata making Menma back off.

"It's so good to see you again!" Hinata plays along.

Menma raises an eyebrow as in a state of disbelief but he hesitates to say anything.

"Sai is here?" Naruto says a bit confused as how he made it here.

Oh no, Naruto isn't that stupid. He won't fall for Sasuke's obvious disguise! Hinata begins to panic.

Naruto appears which causes Sasuke to look puzzled as he looks both at Menma and Naruto.

There's two of them?!

"Ah, Sai! How you been!" Naruto reaches for a handshake.

He fell for it. He is that stupid.

"Yea, same." Sasuke shakes his hand.

"So..what brings you here?" He asks.

"Hinata...is invited to our family reunion!" He says grabbing her hand.

"Gee, Sai. This probably isn't a good time since Hinata is taking care of some kid." Menma says as an excuse to get her to stay.

"He can come along too." Sasuke insists.

"That's great!" Hinata says as she rushes to the living room.

"Hinata-chan, why don't you stay?" Menma said placing his arm around her again until he felt a dark aura behind them.

"I better get going, it's pretty late anyway. Don't worry, I'll be fine. See ya tomorrow, Nards!" Hinata waved as Sasuke carried Daisuke in his arms.

They left as Sasuke unlocked the doors to his car. Hinata sat in the passenger seat while he placed the kid in the back. He was fully asleep by now.

"What?" Sasuke sighed as he noticed she was staring at him.

"It's just.." Her lips formed into a smile and then a burst of laughter.

He had never really seen her laugh before and was a bit shocked.

It was cute.

"You're the last person I would have expected to wear a disguise." She says in the mist of her laughter.

"Shut up." He said fixing his hair to normal again.

"I'm sorry, I-." She was interrupted by his sudden outburst.

"I'm not ready." He said causing her to look puzzled.

"What?" The smile left her face.

"I thought I was ready to be in a relationship again but I'm not.I realized what happened tonight ended up triggering some PTSD in me and that's why I did what I did. My trust issues are at a low and honestly if I'm going to be like that then I'm not ready to be in a relationship."

I see, he's breaking up with me.

He looked at her waiting for her to say something.

Say something.

Nothing.

He's waiting for a response, tell him it's okay. Tell him, you understand that you can wait.

Nothing.

"I-."

"I'd like to walk home instead." She said before he could even turn the keys to lock the doors.

She undid her seat belt and walked out.

"Hinata." He called out but it was too late. She had already began running away disappearing into the fog.

He undid his seat belt as to go after her only to feel a small hand on his shoulder.

"It's okay, Sasuke-nii-san."Daisuke had woken up from the conversation.

"Onee-san, is a nice girl. She understands." He said as for the first time Daisuke had seen his cousin cry.

He sat there in silence. He knew, he knew that she understood what he meant and he hated it. He hated himself for not being able to move on, he hated himself for not trying, for not being good to her.

I'm such an idiot. He thought to himself feeling Daisuke wrap his arms around him as to comfort him while tears ran down his face.

"Hinata?" A voice called out to her but she was too busy in her thoughts to pay attention.

"Oy! I'm talking to you!" She head & then felt a hand grab her shoulder.

"TenTen." Hinata turned around shocking her as Hinata looked rather sad.

"What's wrong? You look like you just got dumped." TenTen laughed as Hinata gave her a small smile before panicking her response.

"What-no! Just thinking about....school!" She laughed nervously knowing she couldn't tell anyone about what just happened. Their relationship to say the least would be easier as they didn't have to keep hiding anymore.

"Right...well if you did then that would make two of us." TenTen said looking rather sad.

"Wait what? But I thought you and Neji were-." She gets cut off.

"We broke up." She says in a monotone voice, hiding her pain with a laugh.

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"It's alright, he was too good for me anyway." She jokes but Hinata can tell she wants to cry.

"Let's go eat something, my treat." TenTen suggests.

Not wanting to be home, Hinata agrees. It would also be good for TenTen to have company as well.

They head to a local fast food shop where TenTen begins to explain detail by detail on her break-up. According to her, she had caught Neji with another girl having dinner at some restaurant when he said he would be hanging out with his friends at a park. It shocked Hinata to hear this as it wasn't like her cousin to cheat..maybe it was a misunderstanding but then again she hasn't known much about him.

"What a jerk." She says as a way to console her now crying friend.

"Dam right, I just wanna squish his stupid cute face." TenTen sighed.

"He cheated, don't call him cute." Hinata teased.

"He's a cheater but a hot cheater." She laughed as Hinata smiled.

It was nice to spend time with TenTen, it had made her forgotten about the events from earlier. Although, the thing that worried her is what to do once she got home. There was no way she could face Sasuke now, not after the way she left.

"Hey, do you think I could stay at your place just for tonight?" They both had said at the same time.

"You can stay at my place." They look up to see a familiar boy.

"Touma-kun?!" Hinata backs up a bit.

"Hinata, I need your help. It's about Kaori." He says with a bit of worry in his eyes.

"What happened?" She says getting a bit nervous herself.

"It seems she has it out for you & Uchiha-sensei. She's been coming up with some crazy story that you two are living together and are secretly dating." He rolls his eyes in disbelief meanwhile Hinata feels sweat forming around her face.

"That's stupid, who's going to believe that?!" TenTen says.

"Who wouldn't believe a teacher's pet?" Touma responds.

"Touché." TenTen settles down.

"Well, it's not like Hinata even lives with him. She hardly knows the guy! Besides, Hinata is way out of his league." TenTen crosses her arms.

"Either way, how can she make such a false claim without any evidence?" Hinata steps in breaking her silence.

"That's what I thought until she told me about the handkerchief." Touma pulls out his phone to show a photo sent by Kaori with a message that reads:

gonna show this to daddy! He'll definitely have to look into it now! Wish me luck! xoxo

"I guess that's the benefit of having your dad as the vice principal." TenTen says before realizing something.

"Wait, that is your handkerchief though. What's it doing in..unless-." She gets cut off before she can finish her sentence.

"It's a popular handkerchief. I'm pretty sure, Uchiha-sensei had some girl over at his house or something with the same one." Hinata tries to justify her response.

"So about my plan.." Touma speaks again.

"Daddy?" Kaori knocks on the door to her father's office.

"Come in." She is greeted by a deep weary tone.

She sees her father standing near the window looking out with an almost halfway done finished cigarette in between his fingers. The whole room smells of cigar and worn out lungs. She coughs and waves away the smoke.

"What is it?" He blows out more smoke before he speaks again this time a bit more frightening.

"Remember that new teacher I spoke to you about?" She said rubbing the handkerchief in between her delicate fingers as she hide it behind her back.

"I told you, don't make false accusations without any-." He gets cut off by her sudden motion where she displays the handkerchief right in the center of her palm.

"I found it, look at the initials." She says as he takes it from her grasp and smells it before looking at the side.

H.H is stitched in white stitches at the corner of one it's sides.

"Hinata Hyuga." He says as she stands there feeling her heart about to escape out of her chest from fear & tension.

"I'll have someone look into this tomorrow. For now, go to your room."

"Yes, father." She bows and heads out practically patting herself on the back.

"Maybe now with this, you'll be mine...Uchiha-sensei."
