"Sauce." She laughed to herself in the lonely apartment.

Sasuke who was still in the hospital would not be released until tomorrow. Despite the feeling of being lonely she had bought a pet fish which she ended up calling him Sauce which was short for Sasuke.

"Should've called you lazy instead." She sighed as she watched him swim around in his small bowl.

All that fish did was swim, eat and sleep but then again what did she expect? He's just a fish.

"Oh boy; I need friends." She said to herself as she went to reach for her cellphone.

As she did her phone already began ringing.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Hinata!" The girl on the other end sounded familiar.

"Is..is that you TenTen-San?" She sounded surprised as it was unusual for TenTen to call her or anybody for that matter.

"Are you going to prom tonight?" TenTen asked.

"Yes, why?"

"Are you going with anybody?"

"Yes, my best friend."

"You mean that cute guy you took the shop the other day?"

"No, that's my-." She stopped herself as she knew it would be weird if she had finished that sentence.

"Oh well never mind that, can you come over? I need girl advice." She sounded a bit..off.

"What's wrong?"

"Just get here & bring your dress." She hung up as Hinata's face worried with dread.

Not just for TenTen but also because she had completely forgotten to buy a prom dress.
TENTEN'S APARTMENT
"Hinata, I'm glad you came!" TenTen was already waiting at the door for her to arrive.

"What's wrong, TenTen?" She asked as she examined her.

"Did you bring your dress?" She asked.

"About that..."

"You don't have one?!"

"I was too caught up on many things that I forgot about it until now!"

"Don't worry, I think I might have a spare one you can use."

"Thank you, TenTen." She hugged her as she felt a bit of relief.

"Don't thank me yet." She said, rummaging through her closet until she pulled out a box.

"How about this one?" She pulled it out to reveal a long dark dress (the one in the picture above) which caused Hinata to look a bit shocked.

"It's.... nice."

"You hesitated."

"Did not."

"Alright, well what about this one." She pulled another one out as Hinata shrugged.

"Try it on."

"Alright." She took the dress while she walked towards the edge of the bed where she sat down.

She slowly began to undress as TenTen kept looking digging to find hers.

"Okay, give me your opinions." Hinata stood up as the dress revealed itself.

It aligned with her curves perfectly and it wasn't half bad as she expected it to be. The bottom of the dress was a nice and plain dark purple but as for the top it was a glittery purple.

"Hinata.." TenTen was at lost for words.

"Does...Does it look bad?" She said worried.

"Are you kidding?! You look like a model!" TenTen said as she was proud of her dress-picking skills.

"Thank you." Hinata laughed as TenTen placed on hers.

For the next half an hour or so, they sat together doing each other's makeup & doing each other's hair as Hinata had a bit of trouble at first but ended up doing fine. TenTen had finally revealed why she had called Hinata earlier as it seems that her prom date was causing her trouble.

"And then I told him, you either-." TenTen was interrupted by the sound of her doorbell ringing.

She got up as she clasped her hands together.

"I'll get it. It's probably my date." She winked at Hinata.

Hinata laughed as she had never seen TenTen look excited, whoever this guy was he was sure making her happy.

Hinata placed on her earrings as she looked at herself in the mirror. She checked her sides, back, and front. If it was one thing she lacked right now it was confidence.

"Hinata!" She heard her name being called.

"Coming!" She called back as she patted her cheeks and went downstairs.

"TenTen, what's wron-." Hinata paused as she noticed the guy standing next to him.

"Neji-nii-san?!" She covered her mouth.

"Nii-san?" TenTen sounded confused as she looked at Neji and then at Hinata, more particularly their eyes.

"Wait, that makes sense now." She said as Neji looked at TenTen with a serious look.

"I see you two already know each other, which means we're going to have more fun!" She hugged both of them.

"Oh wait, I'll go get my phone!" She said as she left both of them alone.

"I see, you're the guy TenTen has been talking about." Hinata said as Neji looked towards the ground then back at her.

"Just because you're friends with my girlfriend, don't expect me to be nice to you." He said angrily.

"Okay, I found it!" TenTen returned as she noticed a weird vibe of anger that was coming from them.

"What happened?" She said as they both spoke at the same time.

"Nothing."

"Okay, well Hinata do you mind taking a photo of us?!" TenTen handed her phone to her as Hinata nodded.

She smiled as she realized they both had been matching. TenTen was wearing a similar dress to hers but instead the bottom was gold glitter and the top was plain black. Neji had a similar look to TenTen as well. Well, his handkerchief matched at least as it was gold but his suit was all black.

"Alright, 1.2.3." She counted down as they posed several times.

Next was Hinata and TenTen as Neji mostly tried to cut Hinata out of the picture and was only focusing on TenTen. She took the phone from him as she asked them to take a picture together.

Both of them hated the idea but knew that it would make her upset if she knew the truth. They walked as TenTen smiled. They got a bit too much into it as they ended up taking a selfie together.

"Alright, Hinata how about one by yourself." TenTen said as she thought she could show Hinata's date later.

"I think thats enough pictures for today." Hinata said exhausted causing Neji to agree.

"Well, my car is outside. Should we get going?" Neji asked taking his car keys from his pocket as TenTen nodded.

"Ready, Hinata?" She looked back at her as she took out her cellphone.

"You guys can go ahead, I'll call Naruto and see what's going on."

"Alright but don't hesitate to call if he doesn't show up!" TenTen left hand and hand with Neji as Hinata smiled at them.

She scrolled through her contacts until she found Naruto's name.

The phone rang but quickly led to voicemail, so she had decided to text him but again no response. She tried again but sighed when it lead to voicemail. She sat down on the stairs as she looked at her phone waiting for it to ring at anytime or for a text message to appear. It wasn't like Naruto not respond to her and it caused her to worry.

"Come on, Nards. Pick up." She tried one more time only for it to go to voicemail causing her to sigh and close her eyes.

Is he ignoring me?

"Let's go." She heard causing her to open her eyes as she saw black leather dress shoes.

"Neji-nii-san?" She questioned as she saw him crossing his arm but holding one hand out towards her.

"W-What?" She said a bit confused.

"It would be very troublesome to leave you here, also TenTen said to come back for you." He said as Hinata lightly slapped his hand away and hugged him instead.

"Thank you, Neji-nii-san." She felt a bit of comfort as he was a bit surprised by her sudden gesture but allowed himself to be hugged just for a moment.

"Yeah, Yeah. That's enough." He said as they walked to his car where TenTen waved at Hinata as she went to the backseat with her.

"Thanks for telling Neji to come back for me." Hinata said as Neji started the car.

"What? I never told him-." She said, looking to Neji who had a small tint of redness on his face.

"Shut up." He said as he began to drive off.
PROM
They had entered into a living hell of loud music and people practically crashing into one another. Hinata walked along with TenTen as they walked up to a booth.

"Tickets?" The lady behind the booth asked as they pulled them out and were handed a mask.

"Enjoy your night!" The lady said excitedly as they had forgotten this years theme was masquerade ball-type.

Once inside, Hinata walked away as she let Neji and TenTen have their time together, not wanting to feel like a third-wheel or a burden she walked towards the bathroom where she called Naruto again wondering where he could be.

Would he really just ditch me like this?

She walked out again while looking around to see if she spotted him. Although, the masquerades were making it quite difficult.

"And then I said don't keep him waiting." She heard a familiar voice as she was positively certain that she knew who it belonged to.

She noticed him right away but was only able to see his face as he was covered by people.

Besides the masquerade, it was easy to tell it was him right away due to the whisker-like birthmarks he had on his face.

"Excuse me." She made her way through the crowd.

She heard laughter being followed by his words as she finally reached the end of the wave of people only to reveal:
