Teresa and Poe had recently returned to D'Quar where they debriefed Leia on everything that they had seen and what happened. Poe didn't have much of an explanation as to where Peter or the girl went with BB-8, but he got a bit more info from what they gained.

"Peter should have made his way here by now, something isn't right." Teresa was worried something had happened to him. "It's like I can feel something is wrong."

"Don't worry, Peter knows how to survive on his own," Poe assured her he would be okay. "He's survived this long."

"Usually because I'm there." Teresa crossed her arms with a sigh. "Where did he get to?"

"Takodana," Leia said as she approached them with an urgent message. "BB-8 has been spotted there with people matching Peter's description. Seems he's in need of a pickup."

"Then let's go get him," Poe stated as he was ready to go.

"Wait. If they've been spotted, the First Order can't be too far behind." Teresa commented, feeling this could be a trap.

"That's why he's not going alone," Leia stated as she wasn't gonna sit this one out. "Come on, you ride with me." She tells Teresa as they walk to the transport and Poe gets a squadron of resistance members ready to fly into a possible battle. "We've gotta get our family back."

Rey races through the trees and was there just in time to see Maz's castle being destroyed by the First Order ships she noticed! All she saw were aliens running, trying to escape from being obliterated by screaming TIE Fighters! Other TIEs and other transports came in and landed, just as Stormtriipers came running out in for the attack. Just then, filtered radio calls get Rey's attention as she spots nearby Stormtroopers who have spotted her and opened fire!

"FN-417, hold position!"

Rey takes cover and grabs the blaster that Han gave her and took aim. But when she got aim, it wouldn't fire! She panics, then realizes why quickly.

"Safety!" Rey realized it was still on.

She switches off the safety and sees they were ready to fire back at her. But luckily she was able to hit two Troopers before she started to retreat, she calls to BB-8 so to keep him close by. The last thing she needed was for the Stormtroopers to capture him. So she needed to keep the droid as far away from the castle as possible right now. BB-8 follows Rey away from the castle as she keeps firing back at more chasing Troopers.

Kylo Ren moves through the debris of Maz's castle as a Stormtrooper approaches.

"Sir, the droid was spotted heading west, with a girl. Kylo Ren looks back sharply in Rey's direction.

Rey and BB-8 move swiftly, terrified - she stops them:

"You have to keep going, stay out of sight, I'll try to fight 'em off," Rey tells BB-8 the only plan that they currently have at the moment.

BB-8 beeps bravely through her fear, saying he hopes this isn't the last they see of each other.

"I hope so, too." Rey agreed.

BB-8 beeps and rolls off to try and escape. She runs and takes cover behind a massive, mossy tree to try and cover BB-8's escape and lead them in the opposite direction.

Han, Chewie, Peter, and Maz, exhausted, climb out of the rubble, peeking through debris. Han started to open fire using his blaster on the Troopers that were the closest to him and kept crawling out, followed by Chewie, who also started to open fire on the Stormtroopers.

"Come on, Chewie!" Han cried as they both ran off to try and take on as many as they can.

Peter was the next to crawl out, followed by Maz as they looked around at the death and destruction that the First Order was causing. Nothing was stopping them from laying waste on the entire building as it seemed the entire place was in ruins seconds after their arrival. He quickly raised his hood and kept his face hidden and revealed his suit underneath as he hid the jacket under his suit.

"Rey and BB-8." Maz cried out to speak above the explosions as Peter helped her out. "They need you!"

"How do you expect me to find them?" Peter asks, not seeing any way that he can find the two in this mess.

"Search your feelings. You'll be led to them." Maz promises him.

An explosion went off near them as Peter ducked and shielded himself. There was no way he was going to be able to get out of this one unscathed without help.

"I need a weapon!" Peter cried in terror.

Maz sighed as she reached down and grabbed his hand holding the Saber, moving it upward and holding it out to him. "You have one!"

Peter looks at her questioningly as he wasn't sure how he was supposed to weld it. But at the same time, it was like he knew what he needed to do when wielding it. Turning it on, the saber's blade extended and he heard the low hum come to life.

Han and Chewie run as they were trying to take cover from the blasts coming from the First Order. The two would stand back to back and shoot out to the Stormtroopers, trying to take some out.

Han then looked down at his blaster before turning to Chewie, tapping his shoulder. "Hey, can I try that?"

Chewie shrugs as he hands over his bowcaster to Han. He then aims it at a squad of troops nearby and fires it at the Stormtroopers. As soon as it blasts, it shot off a giant explosion and sends them all flying.

Han smiled as he faced Chewie, wondering why he never did this before. "I like this thing."

Peter sneaked up on a Stormtrooper while wielding the lightsaber, piercing through the armor and incinerating the man. He worked fast as he moved and took down another by swinging it and slicing through the face mask! He looks around when he felt what was similar to a chill down his spine.

"Impressive." Captain Phasma got Peter's attention as he turned and faced her. "You've had great training."

Peter snarled as he saw the monster that tormented him as a kid and raised the Saber. He was going to enjoy what he was about to do. But then he watched as Phasma took out a quicksilver baton and knew this would be a bit harder to deal with.

Peter raised the saber in his hands as he was ready for this battle. "I've been looking forward to this moment for a long time."

That statement seems to confuse Phasma as she looked him over. "Do I know you?"

Peter wasn't surprised that she didn't recognize him and snarled as he kept the saber raised. "Oh, Phasma, we go way back."

Then Peter ran as he charged towards Phasma, letting out a life's worth of anger and hatred into every swing. But before he could reach her, a Stormtrooper came and tried to shoot him. But Peter used his speed and strength to slice him down the middle, quickly killing the trooper with ease. He wasn't wasting any time as he quickly wanted to get into his fight against Phasma. She tormented him as a kid. She made his life a living hell.

Yet again, he did the same thing to her.

Peter swung the saber at her and Phasma quickly dodged it with her staff so it wouldn't hurt her. Working again, he went for an attack on her face to try and stop her. But Phasma could block that thanks to the size of her staff. She then went in for an attack this time, now trying to go for his head, causing Peter to go for the defensive approach and shield his head from the attack. Quickly swinging his saber into his leg, he remembered that the suit was made out do the same Beskar as the staff, meaning he wasn't going to cut through it with the saber. But that wasn't going to stop him from trying.

Backing off so that he could get another swing, Peter managed to hit Phasma in the chest and sent her flying. He then got ready to swing the saber down when she shot him with her blaster, sending him tripping over and groaning at the pain. He looked and saw he was already healing when a blast blew up in Phasma's face and sent her flying.

Peter looked up and saw it was Chewie and Han who came to his rescue and helped him stand up. Han noticed the wound on his shoulder and worried when he then watched as it healed over.

"That was...ow." Peter groaned as he rubbed his shoulder.

Han was just watching the wound heal and wondered how that was possible. "You... not hurt?"

"Barely scratched me." Peter shrugged as the wound already healed itself.

"Don't move!" Someone said and they looked around to see they were completely surrounded by more troopers. They helped Phasma to her feet and took their weapons from their hands.

"We have targets in custody." One trooper said with pride.

They started to lead the three of them down the destruction and towards their ship when they heard something coming fast. Phasma left to lead the rest of the patrol as the others were led away. All of them started to run to try and shoot the incoming ships as the three of them got a look at what was coming in.

"It's the Resistance," Peter said with a smile.

Out over the bay, all of the X-Wings that they could scramble together in a short amount of time were flying in with attack position opened up. They were going in and were ready to battle the TIE fighters that were coming in at high speed. And the one who was leading the attack was the once-thought-dead best friend, Poe Dameron.

"Go straight at them! Don't let these thugs scare you!" Poe tells his fellow pilots.

"Copy that."

"We're with you, Poe."

And then the two posing forces collided as Poe was flying around at high speeds, taking quick spins and turns as he started to shoot every TIE in sight. A few shots then came down and took down the battalion that was guarding them. None of them looked the gift horse in the mouth, they just scrambled to grab their weapons and fight back.

Peter ran up to the one carrying his saber and grabbed it and used the Troopers blaster. He shot the trooper coming from the carrier and the one running around. As he finished, he looked up to the black and red X-Wing flying around and shooting the TIEs down like they were nothing before shooting a battalion that was too close together. Peter recognized the ship and knew only one man knew how to fly that well and cheered.

"I know that pilot anywhere!" Peter cheered at the top of his lungs, happy to see somehow his friend survived.

In the darkened woods, Rey, terrified, keeps her blaster aimed. Her eyes dart around for her pursuer as she looked around the forest. She couldn't hear anything, which only terrified her more as she tried to figure out where she should be going.

And then the unique sound of Kylo Ren's rasping lightsaber filled the air. She recognized the sound from that strange vision she had and Rey's heart skips a beat: she was even more scared now.

Kylo Ren then suddenly appears from behind a tree and starts to approach her. Rey quickly fires to try and stop him, but Kylo was able to block them again and again. She fires ferociously, but Kylo Ren keeps coming! His hand rises as Rey came into a clearing when she suddenly stops. It wasn't by choice. She wasn't able to move on her own. No matter how much she tried to, she wasn't able to know.

"The girl I've heard so much about," Kylo commented as he starts to walk around her, slowly. She tried to put on a brace face so he won't let herself cry. "The droid." He comes around to see her face. After a scary beat, he whips his saber up to her eyes, illuminating her face. "Where is it?"

Kylo Ren turns off his saber as he reaches up... and stretched his arm out toward Rey's face. She can't move, strains in agony. After a beat, surprised by what he finds, he removes his hand. She is relieved but still afraid of what he was going to do next.

"The map. You've seen it." Kylo Ren said in surprise.

Rey is horrified as he reaches out towards her face again: the pain and tears stream. Kylo Ren, taking more from her mind...She stares at him, terrified, straining in agony. Kylo Ren, mid-interrogation, turns toward the sound of explosions in the distance. One of his Stormtroopers approaches through the woods to alert him.

"Sir, Resistance fighters! We need more troops." They warn him.

Kylo Ren turns over towards Rey, his hand still on her face. "Pull the division out. Forget the droid." And then with a gesture from Kylo Ren, Rey loses consciousness and falls over. "We have what we need."

The black-marked X-Wing swoops down again, firing and exploding another TIE Fighter! All of the Troopers got the order to start to fall back as they were told they got what they needed.

"Pull back the tree line!"

Han and Chewie dodged debris, firing and taking out Troopers as they kept retreating.

Peter spins the saber and slices one trooper before turning behind him and shooting another with the blaster. That's when, out of breath, he turns to see Kylo Ren in the forest, carrying Rey in his arms making his way to his shuttle! Peter started to hyperventilate when he saw that she was being carried off to the enemy ship. He told her to run and get away, and how she was in the hands of the enemy. Han stops when he turns and saw his son entering his shuttle with Rey.

"No!" Heroically, Peter runs toward the shuttle through laser blasts and the troopers. He didn't waste any time even trying to fight them. Shooting them down seconds in time, but the shuttle takes off before he could even get close. Peter screams in fear and worries about what would happen to the girl. She helped him escape Jakku, reunited him with BB-8, and this is how she's getting repaid. "No, no, no, no... REY!"

In crazed frustration, Peter stops running and watches the receding First Order ships, Rey as their captive. He was too slow to stop her from being taken prisoner and now needed to do all he could to save her. BB-8 moves fast, then stops and looks up as the First Order ships retreat, off the planet. A considered beat and BB-8 heads back for the castle.
