Chapter 8

I heard storming footsteps. Juan. I hid in the common room, not wanting to feel his wrath for whatever he was angry about. I saw Oliver walk down to him. "Where's Sense?" Juan growled monstrously. I hid under my covers. Why is he angry at me? Oliver knew I was in the dorms.

"I haven't seen him," Oliver lied, trying to protect me. Juan gave Oliver a hard look.

"If you're lying about that traitor I'll-" Traitor? Why did he think I was a traitor?

"He has a name you know-" I heard a slapping noise. "Did you just hit me?!" Oliver asked, incredulous.

"You're lucky I didn't use Incendio on you!" Juan's tone was fierce. Juan stormed out of the common room and I came out from under the covers. Oliver walked in, red one cheek.

"What's gotten into him? He's never that aggressive," he said holding said cheek. I just scaredly looked out of the dorm.

"Is it safe?" Oliver looked outside.

"It's safe." I walked out of the dorm. I looked at the entrance.

"Why is he calling me a traitor? I did nothing wrong." Oliver gazed at me.

"Maybe he found out about your Gryffindor boyfriend? In his eyes, that is all kind of wrong."

"But it's not bad! People can love who they love! To cut off all other options because they're in a different house is ridiculous!"

"I hear you, but Juan doesn't see it that way. He sees it like this: let's say each of the houses is a religion and you're in the Slytherin religion. To love one from another house, or in this case religion, would be a 'sin'." I looked at him.

"It's still ridiculous, but cool analogy." Oliver smiled.

"Thanks!"

"Is that No-Sense I hear?" Oliver glanced at me.

"Uh oh, better hide." I returned to hiding myself in my duvet. "You just missed him!" Oliver said. "He came in after you left and then left again." Juan whipped his head around.

"Do I have to slap you again?"

"No! No! I'm being honest! He just left, you should be able to catch him!" Juan left again and Oliver turned to me. "I'll try and protect you. Lock yourself in here until he calms down."

I hadn't realized I had dozed off until Oliver tapped me. "He's calm." I looked up.

"Good." I walked out of the dorm. Alder bumped into me. "Sorry, can't talk to you for a few days, my crazy prefect wants to kill me." Alder's eyes widened but he remained silent. I walked off, praying Juan hadn't seen me. I walked into Defense Against the Dark Arts and sat down. I couldn't concentrate. My thoughts were on Juan. Why had he called me a traitor? Was it because of Alder? Where would've Juan heard the news? I don't recall him talking to someone who could've spilt the beans. Then again, I hadn't  seen his conversations. I just decided to lay low for a few days. But Oliver, he  was right. Juan was never usually this aggressive even when he was shouting at me for stuffing up. What had I effed up so bad that he was murderous? Was he really that against Gryffindor?

"Sullivan? You okay?" Benny asked.

"I'm fine except the fact my prefect wants to murder me!"

"What did you do this time?"

"I think he found out about me and Alder."

"Oh my good Crap. What are you gonna do?" I looked away.

"I don't honestly know." He looked at me.

"And he's your prefect.."

"I know." I walked out of Defense Against the Dark Arts to find myself face to face with... Juan.

"Found ya."

"Holy Crap. What are gonna do to me?"  Juan made a strangling motion with his arms, before taking a deep breath. He gave me a frigid look.

"You should've never been sorted into Slytherin," he hissed.
