Chapter 22
"And I can't fight this feeling anymore!" I laughed during the lyric. "I've forgotten what I started fighting for! And if I have to crawl upon the floor, come crashing through your door, baby I can't fight this feeling anymore." I didn't remember the lyrics exactly but I didn't care. Alder let out a laugh.
"For someone who claims to have a bad singing voice," he chuckled, smiling. "You really do love singing." My smiled a bit. I had told Alder my insecurities about my singing voice. I didn't even have any about my magic skills!
"You're better at it that me though," I said. "Yours is angelic!" Alder blushed bright scarlet.
"Um... t-thanks," He said sheepishly. I gazed at my boyfriend. I walked over and tucked one lock of his hair behind his ear.
"It is though. Also, you need to help me with Transfiguration." Alder shared my smirk.
"And you with me at Charms." Our gazes softened.
"Sure." I gave him a look and then sang,"Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down~!" Alder burst out laughing.
"Sullivan, WHY?" He hacked. I was grinning.
"Just because." Alder was still laughing. I looked outside. "We should probably get to bed," I said gazing at the dark.
"Okay, but first~" Alder gave me a quick kiss before getting onto his mattress. I blew him a return kiss and then got into my bed. He caught it. I turned to the lamp.
"Good night, Ally," I said turning the lamp off.
"Night."

I awoke to Alder gasping. He staring at a book on the shelf. A shiver ran down my spine when I saw the title. Sullivan's Diary. "You're so damn cute!" Alder commented. I ran over to him. Alder began reading aloud the page he was reading,"Dear Diary, today, I finally held a proper conversation with Savanna. She's still pretty and cute as ever." Alder gazed at me, smirking slightly. "So this is back when you liked Savanna."
"Not... only her...." I said. I gazed at my boyfriend. "Read the next part...." Alder looked confused and then returned to looking at the diary.
"There's also this other person, a boy," Alder read on, eyes following the words. I looked at him. "He's the same boy I've told you about. The brave one. The one who stood on the table. I don't what is up with him, but... I... i.. find his accent attractive, at least, I think I find it attractive. Which is ridiculous." Alder stopped reading and looked at me. "I know you told me you found my accent cute," he began. "But I didn't realize how long you thought it was." He was softly smiling.
"I recall telling you that I found it cute the moment I first heard your voice."
"I know."
"Maybe, I hadn't even realized that me finding your accent cute was a sign of something much deeper." Alder looked at me, softly, clearly feeling something.
"That being, your feelings for me," he added.
"It was also not only your accent. It was your bravery as well. Me? I'd be too scared to come out like that." A rosy hue appeared on Alder's cheeks.
"Heh. Thanks." Alder looked at me. His gaze was really soft. "I'm glad I met you." He kissed me, and I returned one. My stomach suddenly growled loudly, causing me to blush. Alder let a soft chuckle. "I guess that's our cue to cut the lovey-dovey stuff, huh?" I made a unintelligible grunt.
"Let's just go," I murmured, still blushing. Alder giggled and followed me out of my room.
