Chapter 14
Benny. I'm gonna be frank. You all saw this coming. I wouldn't have mentioned Benny by name if he wasn't important to this story.
I watched the two boys silently. Oliver looked up at the Ravenclaw. I saw beads of sweat run down his face. "H-hi," he mumbled.
"Hello."
"What a-are you doing this evening?" Benny looked up at blue sky.
"It's the afternoon.... why are you here anyway?" Benny wasn't angry, he was genuinely curious. I continued to watch. Alder's voice scared me.
"Hey!"
"Quieter, and stand here by me."
"What are we doing?"
"Helping Oliver confess."
"Oh." He started watching them with me. Oliver walked closer and I saw Benny's eyes widened.
"I want to tell you something." Oliver began. He gazed at me. Alder was behind me. He turned back to Benny. "Important." Benny nodded.
"And that is?" He asked and I watched him.
"I.."
"Go on." I whispered and Oliver smiled. He turned back to Oliver.
"I think.... I like you..." I saw Benny blush and then I decided to leave.
"Let's go and leave them alone," I said and Alder followed me. We went to our usual beech tree and sat down watching Sky as she ran around. I watched her tiny paws and blue eyes. How did she have so much energy? My mind wandered onto Oliver and Benny. I wondered how it went with them and such. It was late when I returned to my common room. I crawled into my bed. I went to sleep.

The next morning I woke up. I got out of bed and walked outside. I liked taking walks outside and breathe in the fresh air. A bit odd I know but still. I walked back into the building. I had a class now. I walked down to the Potions class and me and Alder sat at our desks. The teacher was telling us about our next potion. I listened intently, to her instructions. Me and Alder both tried our best at the potion but we couldn't get it right. Isla looked at our potions. "Nice attempts," she stated, even though she knew we were bad at Potions. I smiled to look like I tried my best.
"I tried!" I said and Alder looked at me. He was smiling. The teacher looked at me.
"I see." She said and returned to teaching the class. While her back was turned, Alder walked out of his desk and gave me a peck before quickly running back to his desk grinning. I smiled. At the end of the lesson, I had Defense Against the Dark Arts. I entered the classroom.
"I saw you there," Benny said, smiling.
"Me where?" I said. Benny smirked. He pulled my ear to his mouth.
"There by Oliver! You were totally the moral support weren't you?" I looked away.
"No. I totes wasn't," I lied, smiling. It was all in good fun. He saw through my lie. He smiled.
"You totally were!" I smiled. Benny was a great a friend.
"Just joking with ya! I was totally there. Caught red-handed!" I was smiling. "And yes, I was the moral support. Poor little Oliver was a bit too nervous to approach you alone. So he told me to come be the moral support. But the confession was all his." Benny smiled and turned his gaze on the teacher who teaching us about werewolves. I looked at Tavern.
"So today, If we're quite finished with all this chatter... werewolves..." he continued on with the lecture, and I listened intently. DATDA was one of my more favourite lessons. It was only after the lesson I realized I'd forgotten to ask Benny something.
What did you answer?
