Alder and I were sitting in our usual spot by the beech tree, dozing. I then heard a slight whimper. I woke Alder up. "Did you hear that?" I asked. Alder shook his head trying to rid himself of his slumber.

"No.." he murmured. The whine sounded again. Alder stood up. "My senses are tingling." He transformed and raced off. I followed him, and he stopped near a patch of foliage.  He sniffed around for awhile before turning around with a pup in his mouth. I took the she-pup from him and he transformed again. "Says her name is Sky." Enter Sky. Another important element to our story. I looked down at the she-pup. She had a long wound down one of her legs.

"What do we do?" Alder looked at me.

"We could take her to Hagrid's? Seems appropriate." He took Sky back and we walked toward Hagrid's hut. He knocked on the door and Hagrid opened it.

"Sullivan 'n Alder? What can I do for ya?" Alder showed him Sky. "Put 'er over here." Alder placed her on the table and then transformed. Hagrid bandaged the wolf pup's leg. She whimper a bit and opened her blue eyes in pain. Alder barked something to the pup and she whined something in reply. Hagrid finished bandaging her leg. Alder barked and Sky barked back and Alder transformed back. He picked up Sky and walked over to me.

"She wants to stay with us while she recovers," he said, smiling. I looked at Sky and my heart melted. She was just so tiny. Alder looked at me. "She'll room with me, since I can understand her." I nodded. We went our separate ways to our common rooms. Juan watched me as I walked in. This time, he didn't threaten me, instead, he just turned away. I still wondered if he had actually seen us watching him the other day and knew that we knew about his secret. Of course, we weren't sure if it actually was alcohol. A bit odd, I'd admit but I liked it. At least he wasn't wishing death upon me. I walked over to the dorm room. Oliver was already in there.

"Oh. Sullivan," he said, smiling. "Juan hadn't made any death threats about you and Alder yet. I wonder why."

"Maybe they finally cracked him at St. Mungo's?" I suggested. Oliver looked at me.

"Maybe.." He gazed away. "Then again, he hasn't been his aggressive self lately." I stared at him.

"He hasn't? I never noticed."

"Yeah, he hasn't..."

"Maybe someone broke through his tough exterior?" I suggested again. Oliver looked down.

"Hm... hey.... can I ask you something?" Oliver said. I was intrigued.

"Okay." Oliver blushed slightly.

"How did you and Alder confess?" He asked.

"Well, he initiated it. He told me to tell me to tell him if I liked him back. Which I did. I used the Patronus Charm to him my Patronus changed-" Oliver stopped me.

"Your Patronus changed?"

"Yes. And I told him."

"Well, my Patronus hasn't changed, but I need help," Oliver said. "You know him."

"Okay.... sure."

"Sullivan, I.... I..... have a crush on a Ravenclaw and I want to tell him." I stared at him.

"Him? Didn't I see you snog a girl?"

"That was a dare! Sullivan... you know what I'm going through..."

"I do...?" Oliver sighed, looking away. "But, about what you asked. I suggest doing it however you feel right." Oliver looked back at me, before walking to the door.

"Okay," He said as he left. I watched him leave. Juan walked into the dorm.

"Sense, it's time for Quidditch practice," Juan said, no sign of aggression. I followed him out.
