2: The Oldest Trick in the Book

It bothered you to no end how you were stuck in Aizawa's classroom, forced to listen to Denki's obnoxious humming behind you as he somehow took forever to wipe the desks and dust the shelves, and the reason why only made it worse.

Once he finished cleaning the room and was dismissed, he shot you a hauntingly adorable smile and a wave, to which you slightly raised your hand to in annoyance. You could almost see his eyes light up when you lazily waved back, almost getting a peek of under your skirt.

You couldn't help but notice how you could see his biceps through his tight uniform and wondered if he would be able to carry you around with ease. You growled in your head: it was easy for men to get inside your head without even trying, and it was beginning to get annoying. So much that you took out your sexual frustration on them whenever you had the chance. Not to mention your fairly huge ego and your undying pride, it was hard to be with a man for this sole reason.

You grumbled and took out your headphones, swinging them on and shuffled a random playlist and making patterns on your desk with your soft fingers as you waited until it was time to leave. Classical music always got your mind off of whatever you didn't want to be thinking about at that certain point in time. You unconsciously began to match the beat by tapping your nails against the desk.

Aizawa raised an eyebrow, "Lacrimosa?" He asked with a straight face, much to your invisible amusement.

"Absolutely not, sir." You deadpanned and lowered the volume just a bit.

He fiddled with the papers littered over his desk, putting down his pen for the first time in a bit. "You know what we need to talk about, right?"

"...Yeah. I do. In fact, there is no reason to even talk about it." You said and slid off your earbuds.

He sighed at your stubbornness. "But it still needs to be talked about. Now, the whole process is almost complete, and I'll call you in again whenever we have more information. On the other hand.. I want you to become acquainted with some of their students."

"...Including that idiot from earlier?"

"Yes. Him too, and talk to his friends. Listen, I don't want you to be alone for the rest of your school year, L/N."

Once Aizawa allowed you to leave, he went back to his dorm building, trusting you and you stayed behind for a little while, bored and tired. Incredibly tired.

Deciding to finally leave, you held tightly onto your bag in anticipation of finally getting back to your 'friends'.. Well, It was more like the anticipation of getting back to your soft yet sturdy bed and prayed that you would be able to get back into the dorm building without being noticed. You would never hear the end of it from your classmates and a certain someone. You couldn't really decide whether you wanted to hang around in the building or go back to the dorms.

You then switched the classical music to something more.. energetic. Like, heavy metal. You began to unconsciously sway your hips to the music blaring through your headphones, which was now so loud that others would be able to hear the beat if they were anywhere near you. Fiddling with the cable of your headphones, unable to hear anything else, not even your hearing as you danced a bit in the middle of the hallway, you took a small step forwards every now and then, suddenly wanting to just hang around the building and not deal with the idiots back at the dorms.

While you had your own predicament, Denki had his. Hiding in the boys locker room, deep in thought on the ground, he groaned in slight frustration. His plan was to listen for a sound, signalling that you finally left Aizawa's classroom so that he could talk to you-

And then, he would try to woo you. Something. Anything. You peaked his interest. No girl had made him so shy before, but he had recently regained his old composure and self. He knew that once he went back to the dorms, he would be questioned about his nonexistent girlfriend, so why not talk to this cute girl he just met and take a chance?

Slightly grumpy and already done with shit that hasn't even come up to deal with yet, you heard a distant noisenthat you couldn't fully make out due to the music, that made you stop in your tracks. No one else was supposed to be there at the moment but you. You kept walking, checking out your surroundings carefully and heard it again, completely stopping and taking off your headphones to make sure you weren't hearing things.

Suddenly, you felt a sensation that sent chills down your spine so hard that you felt your back arch slightly, an uncomfortable feeling stirred in your abdomen as you felt a pair of eyes burning daggers into you from behind that turned your blood into ice. Your eyes twitched and you halted.

You felt as if someone was preying on you, waiting to eventually pounce and devour you, one way or another. A heavy and tight feeling accompanied your lungs as you glanced nervously behind you and saw nothing. Your cheeks flushed as you brushed off the feeling and turned back, your hand twitched, aching to instinctively pull your skirt down when you felt that same lingering burn on your ass, as if it was admiring every detail of your small, fragile feminine curves. You kept walking, ignoring any feeling you had after that until it shot through you again, not any less gentle. It felt like it was simply admiring you nervously from afar, too afraid to speak. You growled in response once again and snapped your head to where you felt it coming from with clenched fists, ready to chew out whoever was there.

Nothing.

You deeply sighed and thought you were going crazy, being cautious of your peripheral vision every now and then and not putting your headphones back on to make sure of any future noises. Your pace began to pick up, admittedly a bit nervous, and it was until you heard a clear footstep and small rustle that you thought you were going crazy.

"OK, THAT'S ENOUGH! WHO'S THERE?!" You snapped, your echo bouncing off of the metal lockers and the cement floor, but no answer came back for a few seconds. You must've looked absolutely insane.

"I AM! DON'T HURT ME, I COME IN PEACE." An all-too familiar voice called back. You hit yourself mentally and covered your face with your hands, letting them slowly fall off of your face with a deep sigh as the person you dreaded to see again stuck their head around the corner, grinning like a nervous idiot. His hands and forehead were beaded with sweat, grasping at the wall and sharply stuck out his leg and struck a pose, waving.

"Oh, it's you. What the hell do you want?" You groaned. You badly wanted to ask why you felt that burning millions of daggers on and around the hem of your skirt, but you didn't. "Can't you see I'm trying to get back in peace?"

He grinned and took a few steps forward. "Didn't look like it. To me, it seemed like you were just-"

"Shut up." You interrupted him with an angry blush. "Why the hell were you standing there watching me, you creep?"

"Uh- I wasn't! Promise. I was just passing by, and I had to stop when I saw that one beautiful girl from detention." He winked. Your eyes lazily trailed up his legs, taking note of his wrinkled, slightly dirty uniform. His pale complexion shone with a certain feeling you couldn't explain.

"Aizawa dismissed you half an hour ago." Your eyebrows furrowed. "You shouldn't even be here."

Remembering Aizawa's words earlier with the mention of him, you settled down. He wanted you to befriend him and others for a reason, and being rude wasn't going to help you in the long run for many reasons. This was one of the reasons you've spent the majority of your school and social life.. away from others.

He began walking at a regular pace towards you, you unconsciously took a step back as he reached you, completely towering over you with a shit eating grin. "Yeah, but well, you see, I had to go to the bathroom, then I lost track of time there. You know, I look in the mirror a lot because of how handsome I am, and it gets out of hand sometimes."

'Nice, Denki.' He mentally patted himself on the back when he saw your cheeks flush just a tiny bit and your eyebrow raise. 'Be smooth. This might be your only chance.' He couldn't help his eyes from looking down at your chest, there are barely anything there, just little cute mounds, but it seemed like enough for him to hold, and soon he couldn't help himself from imagining it until your sweet voice broke snapped him out of his dirty thoughts.

".. I'm sure you do." You looked off to the side and sat down on the floor, crossing your legs. Ignoring his comment, you continued. "You're lucky I don't want to go back just yet, so I guess I'll tolerate you."

"Well that's a start. By the way, you never told me your name." Denki sang and sat down next to you. "Well, Aizawa did mention your last name, but I want to hear your full name from your pretty little mouth~"

"Why should I?" You interrupted with a deadpan. "I don't know you, or even your name."

"Hey, we just met. And if I recall correctly, I told you mine already!" He complained with puppy dog eyes.

"You did? Well, I wasn't paying attention." You admitted and stared at your nails.

"Well, let me jog your memory sweet cheeks... I'm Denki Kaminari, but you can call me-"

"How about never?" You interrupted and sighed. "My fucking name is L/N F/N, and I'll only tell you once."

Suddenly, he purely smiled. You took in the cute little crinkles around his mouth and how his eyes were littered with sparkles. His hands gripped at the floor like a giddy little kid. His hair bounced a little as he lowered his head.

"I want to get to know you better.. if that's not weird." He winked.

"Whatever." You laid your chin on your hand, accidentally letting your eyes flutter closed for a moment. 'Is this truly a.. 1-A fuck boy? I never thought I'd see the day.'

"You tired?" He asked. "You can sleep on my lap~"

You pursed your lips and furrowed your eyebrows, glaring daggers at him as he scratched the back of his neck nervously and chuckled. You couldn't even muster a response, not being used to men coming onto you at all. No matter who it was, you became almost unbearably flustered.

"I- I'm just kidding!" He lied and waved his hands frantically. "Well anyways, how about you tell me more about yourself?"

You stared up at the ceiling, not wanting to look too prissy and then lowered your eyes slowly. "I'm in Gen Ed. I don't know what else to say and frankly I don't want to say anything else."

"Since you didn't remember my name, you probably don't remember that I'm in the hero course. Class 1-A!" He stuck his thumb on his chest. "Cool, right?"

"I guess." You shrugged.

"Wanna see my quirk?" He leaned to the side, bumping shoulders with you. Your half lidded eyes stared at him as you shrugged.

He figured that it was enough. "Stay back." He instructed. Once you complied he smiled and conducted a small amount electricity to make sure he doesn't overload, making it flow through his body, sparking as he grinned. He could tell by your unusual surprised expression that you were impressed with it. But what else could you expect from someone that's in 1-A?

"Cool right? I can shoot it out, but it would get everywhere and I don't go well with accidentally electrifying pretty ladies." He winked.

'I don't mind doing it in bed though..'

"Smooth." You grumbled, your hand went up to cover your cheeks when you couldn't help but look away and feel embarrassed. Your eyes glanced back to his giddy form when he released his quirk and took a deep breath. You watched his chest heave up and down through his blouse and again, mentally hit yourself.

"So, what's yours?" He leaned in curiously. He wasn't expecting anything flashy considering you were in Gen Ed.

You looked at the ground, feeling his golden eyes stare at your soft features soften. "I'll show you later."

A ringtone echoed off the walls, Denki grumbled and pulled his phone out of his pocket and raised a finger to excuse himself, getting up from the floor and walking to the corner. You shrugged and waited patiently, sinking your head to bury it in-between your knees.

'Wait a minute.. Why the fuck am I waiting for him?'

You couldn't answer the question yourself before he came back with his phone almost falling out of his pocket as he grabbed his bag from the floor. "The guys are wondering where I am," He said sadly. "But I had fun talking to you."

'Oh we'll meet again. Sadly.' You thought. "Yeah, too bad." You shrugged and turned, beginning to walk off.

"Wait!"

You jumped at the sudden outburst, turning on your heel and tilting your head. Denki had a light pink tinge on his cheeks as he walked towards you. "Wanna see a magic trick?"

"Not really-"

"You do? Great. Now just give me your phone and you'll see my number appear."

"... Did you think of that on the spot?"

"Yeah. Can I get points for effort though?"

You sighed deeply and pretended to be angry, shoving your hand into your bag and pulling your slightly outdated phone out and unlocked it for him. "Make it quick. And don't you dare try anything."

He seemed.. surprised. Like he didn't expect for you to actually allow him to. He gulped and his heart rate sped up exponentially, frozen for a few seconds as he watched you begin to pout when he didn't take your phone right away.

"Well?! What's wrong? Change your mind?"

"NO! No, of course not!" He grinned and took your phone, quickly punching his number in. Once he heard his phone ring with a cheesy rock song, he handed your phone back to you.

As he did so, his finger lingered over yours for a second, slightly pulling you. Due to the strength difference, your entire body was forced forwards a bit. You pursed your lips and removed your hand, avoiding his gaze the entire time.

"Thanks, F/N! You made my day you know."

"Whatever, creep." You rolled your eyes and turned on your heel.

You sighed in content as he didn't call you back this time, letting your cheeks return to their original color. It was the first time a guy had the guts to ask for your number. Each and every one had been scared away from your attitude, but why wasn't he the same? Why did insist on speaking to you no matter how much you lashed at him? Even when you were asked to befriend him, you were still rude yet he didn't care, he calmed you.

You felt a presence next to you and almost yelped, putting your arm in front of your chest to protect yourself as you saw Denki walking closely next to you while you were spaced out. "HEY! WHAT IS IT NOW CREEP?!"

He seemed puzzled. "We leave the same way, ya know."

"Oh.. right."

-----------------------

"If it isn't F/N! Back late again. Where were you now? Out fucking a guy behind the building?"

Your only friend, Yuri, caught you sneaking back into the dorms. Well, she wasn't an actual friend, but you were put as neighbours when the dorms were installed and ever since, back and forth banters full of cussing and screaming ensued over the most trivial things. It was more like.. frenemies. She was not afraid to expose your ass but will have your back, and you were the exact same to her.

It was like she knew everything. A shit eating grin on her face already told you she was going to tease you for the rest of the night.

"Fuck off you bitch." You muttered and slammed open your door. She stuck her head in and menacingly chuckled while annoyingly tapping her nails on the door frame. You weren't in the mood to deal with her constant following you around, teasing and pushing.

"Who was it?"

"Fucking no one. Let me fucking sleep." You groaned, jumped onto your bed and threw your pillow over your head, not even bothering to change.

"Ok, ok. But I expect details tomorrow." She sang and went to shut the door before you remembered something.

"Wait." You pleaded. "I need to tell you something."

Your tone struck her immediate interest. Her cerulean blue eyes lit up in curiosity, quickly shutting the door behind her and sitting next to you on the bed.

"So? Spill."

"I.. Eraserhead-"

"Eraserhead?! The 1-A teacher? What about him?"

"He said.. I'm gonna.. Well.."

"Yes?" She smiled widely and bounced up and down like a little kid pleading for candy.

"T-T-... You know what, nevermind."

"OH HELL NO! YOU DON'T GET TO HYPE ME UP AND THEN SAY NEVERMIND!" Yuri exclaimed and grabbed your wrist, pulling you up and furrowing her brows, a complete change of mood. A plethora of beautiful cherry blossoms grew from her hair. Some went across the room and most fell onto the floor, her quirk was truly beautiful to watch, but there were more important things to worry about right now.

You put your hands up in defense. "LET GO OF ME BITCH!"

"NO!"

"... I'll tell if you let me go."

She growled and threw your hand to the side, crossing her arms and tapping her feet on the floor. "Well?"

"... I was just kidding!"

"Wha-" She didn't have enough time to answer before you grabbed her and forcefully pushed her out of your room, making sure to hold the door with your weight until she got tired of banging and shouting. Apparently, a teacher had to come out and drag her back.

You sighed. "Well, at least that's over."

And it seems like you jinxed it, because your phone rung for the first time in a while.
