It's been a month since Yukio started attending Hanzo academy as a Shinobi. He's been training with Kiriya and the girls, while learning more about shinobi. He still has his Death's Restart and Soul Travel abilities, yet they haven't been activated once during his training. Thankfully, it gave Yukio the chance to learn without relying on his powers.

As Yukio's training continued, Kiriya and his students were on high alert for another attack from the evil ninjas, but not a single alarm went off. They all grew suspicious, but didn't know what to do. They didn't have the location of the enemy, nor a way to find their location.

Yukio also developed his bonds with his classmates during his training. He always studied with Ikaruga, sparred with Katsuragi, hung out with Asuka, and continued to stop Yagyu from overprotecting Hibari. Though he didn't none of his relationships were romantic, he thought that the girls would eventually end up falling for him. It was the first instance of Yukio thinking that he was getting a harem.

However, on a Friday night. The girls and Yukio were walking to their dorms.

"Hey, Yukio." Hibari got Yukio's attention.

"Hmm? What's up?" Yukio asked.

"Well, you've always spent your weekends in your dorm, and we're gonna need new uniforms for the winter, so we all wanted you to go shopping with us." Hibari responded.

Wait, are they asking what I think they're asking?

"Really? Is that ok?" Yukio looked towards the other girls. They all nodded in response. "Alright, I guess I'll go with you girls. When are we going?"

"We're thinking around noon tomorrow." Ikaruga said.

"Alright, I'll try not to be late." Yukio said.

Yukio split up from the girls, and headed to his own dorm. On his way he spotted a very familiar shrine.

Man, it's been about a month since I last visited this place. I wonder where that strange little girl is?

Yukio looked around the shrine, but was unable to spot the girl. He peeked his head into the shrine, but found two different people instead.

They were both girls, and looked the same age as Yukio. One of them had shoulder-length black hair, and dark blue eyes with familiar unique irises, in the shape of little suns. She wore a long white sailor dress with black trimmings.

The other girl had a very unique appearance. She had pale green shoulder-length hair, and pink eyes. She wore a black sleeveless top, and a small orange jacket over it, and a long red scarf around her neck.

The two girls were sitting in the middle of the room, the girl with the black hair was eating something that looked like tiny red balls.

What are those? It kind of looks like red boba.

The girl stopped eating, silently stood up, and looked towards Yukio.

"May I help you, sir?" The black haired girl asked.

"O-Oh, I was just wandering about looking for someone. They look like you but younger, and they're wearing a large shrine maiden outfit." Yukio replied to the black haired girl.

"Oh, I'm afraid I don't know who you're talking about." The black haired girl said.

The girl with pale green hair approached Yukio. "We are quite busy here, so please leave sir."

"I see. I'm sorry if I disturbed your meal. I'll be taking my leave." Yukio said, as the girl with pale green hair closed the door on him.

She's very suspicious, but I'll leave it for now. I have something else to worry about right now.

Yukio arrived at their dorm. The Shinobi dorms only had two rooms. One of them was a spare, so it became Yukio's room, while all the girls shared the same dorm. It looked run-down on the outside, but inside the rooms were huge and fancy. Yukio got himself a tv, and other household items to distract himself with during his studies. However, he wasn't gonna let those distractions stop him this weekend. He laid down on his bed, and started rolling back and forth in excitement.

Haha! I'm going on a date! I actually have a date!

Yukio could hardly believe it, he was going on his first date with five beautiful girls.

Finally, I'll get to see them as girls again, and not as ninjas. I haven't seen them as normal girls since...I learned about their pasts.

Yukio kept quiet about the girls' backstories for the past month, because he didn't want to seem rude.

Yeah, I've almost completely forgot I had those abilities, those damned experiences...

Yukio tried to clear his head, he took off his shirt to reveal his new slightly muscular build, and went to his wardrobe.

"Alright, what should I wear? What should I wear..." Yukio went through the number of school uniforms in his closet, but couldn't find any other uniform.

Ah, shoot. I'm gonna need an outfit. I need to wear a very nice outfit-wait, what am I thinking?!

He closed his wardrobe, put his shirt back on and laid back on his bed.

I don't need to wear a nice uniform, the girls are probably gonna wear casual clothing anyways. I should just wear something presentable.

"I really need to calm down. Just because I have my first chance for romance, doesn't mean it'll be perfect." Yukio tried not to get his hopes too high. "I'm just going shopping with all of them. At best, it's a hangout between friends."

Well, at least I'm happy that they see me as a friend. I was probably just some weakling to them before, but now I've gotten much stronger only within a couple months.

While those thoughts roamed around in his mind, he heard an unexpected yet familiar voice in his mind.

"Transcend space and time." The voice said, Yukio was surprised to hear that voice again.

What?! This is my Soul Travel ability, but why now?! It's been a month since it was previously activated. What is it going to show me?!

Yukio opened his eyes, and saw himself in a dimly lit room. He tried to focus his vision, but all he saw was a bamboo door. He could hear a man's voice on the other side.

"Retrieving Hanzo academy's scroll is the most important mission here." The man said.

"The scroll itself is useless without the proper user. That's why I recommend we wait until a user gets chosen by the scroll, then we turn them to our side, it's a simple yet effective strategy." A woman's voice replied, it was the person that Yukio was currently inside.

What is this? Where am I? Hanzo's scroll? Are they talking about the very secret scroll that Kiriya showed me?

"We can train our own secret scroll user after we get it." The man countered.

"That would be unwise, we don't even have a user for our own scroll." The woman responded.

"I've grown tired of waiting, Suzune. I want results." The man said. "Besides, I've already sent someone to get it for us."

So the woman's name is Suzune? Noted.

"You've what?!" Suzune exclaimed.

"I sent Haruka there to get the scroll." The man responded. The name reminded Yukio of the huge Shinobi barrier, and facing off against the evil Shinobi.

Haruka. That's the evil ninja who busted my face when I went to save Hibari.

"Tsk, I'm leaving." Suzune said, and left the room.

What do they mean that Haruka is getting the scroll for them? How long ago was this?

"Transcend space and time." Yukio heard the familiar voice again, and he automatically closed his eyes.

When Yukio opened his eyes, he saw water flowing down his head, and he could feel a stream of water hitting the top of his head.

Ow! What the heck? What's happening now?

Yukio was somehow able to cancel out the sound of the flowing water, and he heard four girls talking.

"Have you guys heard-" A familiar voice started talking.

"No, I haven't." Another familiar voice said. Yukio tried looking around, and he started panicking as soon as he saw familiar green hair.

It's the evil ninjas! Wait, then who am I? Suzune again? If so, did this take place before or after the last flashback?

"I haven't even said anything yet." One of the girls said, Yukio remembered the girl's voice as well.

If I remember correctly, this was the girl who 'accidentally' killed Ikaruga in one of my previous timelines. What was her name again, Yomi?

"Let me guess, is it about bean sprouts?" The same voice responded.

Ok, that's the green haired girl's voice. Her name was Hikage. Wait, why is she talking about bean sprouts?

"No, but I'd love to talk about them if you'd like." Yomi said.

"No thanks, just tell us what you were gonna say." Hikage responded.

"Oh right, I've heard that Suzune-Sensei originally started out as a good ninja. In fact, she went to Hanzo academy, the very academy that we attacked." Yomi said.

"That's nothing but a rumor though." Hikage responded.

"Yeah, there's no way a good ninja could be a teacher at Hebijo academy." Another voice said, Yukio instantly recognized the voice to be Homura's.

Of course, Homura's here. Why does she sound so close to me though? Don't tell me...

Yukio looked down, and immediately looked back up after seeing two tanned bulges.

That answers my question, and I also didn't need to see that.

"Are you sure, Homura?" Another voice asked.

And there's the bratty Yagyu-rip-off. Mirai was her name, I think. Anyway, what are they talking about?

"What are you implying, Mirai?" Homura countered.

"I'm just saying that it isn't so black and white. After all, weren't you also a good ninja before coming here." Mirai responded.

Homura, a good Shinobi? The same person who has killed me multiple times without any hesitation. That's a very funny joke.

"Shut the hell up!" Homura threatened.

"You're not alone here, my family is full of good ninjas." Mirai replied.

"I'll shut you up if you can't do it yourself." Homura threatened again.

"Ooo, so scary." Mirai sarcastically said.

"Erg...it's just not possible..." Homura said to herself.

A Hebijo academy teacher originally went to Hanzo academy? Hmm...maybe I should ask Kiriya about that.

"Transcend space and time." The voice said again.

Another flashback?! Why?! What is it going to show me now?!

Yukio closed his eyes, and opened them back up. He saw himself in a classroom with the sunset in the background, and he saw a man standing in the classroom.

"Sensei!" Yukio heard a young girl's voice, as he ran towards the man.

Whoa! It's like I'm back in middle school again, I used to love the sight of classrooms with sunsets. Now, who am I? And who is this guy?

"What is it, Homura?" The man said.

"Uh...I have something really important to tell you. Something that you can't let anybody else know about." The girl said.

Wait, was this when Homura was in middle school or something. Oh boy, a sociopath's backstory...

The man tilted his head in confusion, and Homura took a deep breath.

"I-I'm a Shinobi. I'm a good Shinobi." Homura said.

Wait, she's serious? Homura really was a good ninja? Oh no, I think I'm gonna find out what made her become an evil ninja.

The man was in shock, and after a couple seconds, he responded.

"Alright, you've got it. I won't tell anyone, Homura." The man said as he patted her on the head.

Please don't pet me...

Yukio was then shown a montage of experiences Homura had with the man.

So past-Homura had a very nice teacher in middle school. Hurry up and get me to the bad part, so I can understand this crazy girl.

Suddenly, he saw himself in a dark storage room, with kunai blades all around him. He heard Homura, breathing heavily.

Huh?

"Why? Why, Sensei?!" Homura exclaimed.

"Hehe, well...you see, my mission was to eliminate any potential good ninjas." Homura's teacher said, as he smirked.

"T-That's why...that's why you were so nice to me?! I trusted you, I even told you I was a Shinobi." Homura said, still in shock.

"You made it easy for me. You really thought I was a good person. Haha, nothing's better than betraying people who actually trusted you. If you make them fall in love with you, that's even better." He started chuckling.

"Y-You..." Homura was at a loss for words.

Homura's vision started to get blurry, but Yukio could still see the next horrific act. Homura picked up one of the kunai blades, and stabbed straight through her teacher's eye socket. Yukio's eyes widened, as Homura stabbed the man again, and again, and again, and again until his face was unrecognizable.

Homura, still breathing heavily, suddenly dropped the blade, and stood in place. It took her a few seconds to realize what she had done, and she ran off.

Yukio's Soul Travel made him fast-forward a couple days. Homura was found guilty of the act, and was disowned by her parents because of it. The last thing Yukio saw was Homura, crying in the rain, holding a single katana in both her hands.

Yukio closed his eyes, opened them, and found himself back in his dorm.

What the...what's with all this information?! It's been more than a month since I last used Soul Travel , and it had to hit me with three flashbacks?! What is it trying to tell me this time? It focused a lot on the evil ninjas, maybe it was some kind of warning, but then what was with it showing me Homura's messed up backstory? Damn it, I have so many questions that probably won't even get answered!

He suddenly got a little lightheaded, and started stumbling, so he laid down on his bed.

Ugh...I guess the side-effects of this ability are more noticeable after not using it for a while. Why did it have to give me more than one flashback? Ugh...Wait, I should probably tell Kiriya about the...flashbacks...

Yukio suddenly passed out on his bed.

The next morning, he woke up to someone knocking at his door.

"Yukio, are you awake in there? We were told to head to school quickly. It's an emergency." It was Ikaruga's voice on the other side of the door.

"Huh? W-Wait, right now?!" Yukio stumbled out of bed, still exhausted, and got on his uniform.

He opened the door, and saw the rest of the girls waiting for him.

"Uh, good morning." Yukio awkwardly greeted them.

"We don't have time for greetings, let's hurry up and get there already." Yagyu said.

"Wow, you're very on-edge today." Yukio commented.

"Well, she's not wrong. We have to hurry." Ikaruga replied, and they all rushed to Hanzo academy.

Kiriya was waiting for them in the secret classroom, and everyone greeted him.

"Good morning, everyone. I'm sorry I called you all here on such short notice, especially at the start of the weekend." Kiriya greeted them back. "However, someone broke into the Shinobi storage area, and they stole the Super Secret Ninja Scroll."

I swear, we really need another name for that scroll.

"Wait, the scroll that is supposed to be sealing a very powerful demon creature?" Yukio asked.

"Correct, after the last attack, I created a seal over the old building so that only good ninjas can enter it. There's no way a evil ninja could've done it." Kiriya said.

"What are you saying, Kiriya-sensei?" Ikaruga asked.

"The only people who are able to enter this building are me, Yukio, Master Hanzo, and you girls. I don't want to believe it, but one of us must have stolen the scroll." Kiriya replied.

"One of us?!" Everyone exclaimed.
