HEY GUYS! I HOPE YOUR READY FOR THE EXCITING TALE OF SENRAN BATTLE NETWORK! I know what most of you are thinking. "Oh god what kind of messed up crossover is this?" Well it was thanks to computerboy64 that helped me come up with this and playing the Battle Network games again, along with watching the anime. Here is where we'll start off with Katsuragi being the NetOp and Lucian being the NetNavi. I know what most of you are saying why isn't Ikaruga Lucian's NetOp? Well the answer to that is Ikaruga thinks calm and collected but Katsuragi just charges in recklessly sometimes without a strategy so Lucian will be the one to set her straight in battle tactics. The story/battlechips will be game-wise as for the action anime-wise, so I hope you enjoy even though I'll be using music from the anime and the games including Genso Network Shanghai.EXE. Some if not all the girls will be here however two(if you include Katsuragi) of them has an OC. I won't reveal who but we'll get there when we get there. Also huge shoutout to computerboy64 for making the cover of the book I thank you man. SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO LET'S DO THIS SHIT!

Narration: It is the year 200X. The world's machines are joined by a worldwide network. But there is a dark side to this convenience as well: computer viruses and an increase in NetCrime. Officials are having trouble tracking down the threats with the sudden influx of viruses it may look like the peaceful days from before is starting to diminish little by little.

Katsuragi's POV

I was gettin ready to go home from class until I was stopped by Homura.

Katsuragi: Hey Homura what's up?

It was then she pulled out a PET. (Keyword.)

Homura: Wanna battle?

Katsuragi: Hehe sure!

We went to the classroom where it had a battle stadium and got to our positions I was on the left, Homura was on the right.

Homura: Jack in! Asuka Execute!

Katsuragi: Jack in! Execute!

Both of us plugged our PETs to the stadium and our Navis appeared.

Homura: Ready Asuka?

Asuka: Ready as I'll ever be!

Katsuragi:...(Must be nice having a custom NetNavi.) (NetNavi: Keyword)

It was then Homura brought out her battlechips as did I. (Battlechips: Keyword)

Homura: Battle chip Sword! Slot In!

It was then a sword materialized in Asuka's arm and charged at my NetNavi. It was then my NetNavi dodged it by jumping over her and getting ready to strike.

Katsuragi: Battle Chip Shotgun! Slot in!

My Navi's arm materialized into a shotgun and began to shoot at Asuka but she was blocking it with her sword.

Katsuragi: Damn okay then Battle Chip Sword! Slot In!

From a shotgun to a sword the arm was changed and it charged straight at Asuka but she dodged over it and Homura inserted a new battlechip.

Homura: Battle Chip Shockwave! Slot In! And to finish it off Sword! Slot In!

Asuka then waved her hand and a shockwave appeared in which my NetNavi got caught and she finished it off with a sword attack that split its torso in half.

Homura: Looks like I win again. Good work Asuka.

Asuka: Thank you Homura.

Katsuragi: Oh man this blows.

Homura: Better luck next time and I'll be waiting for the day you'll give me a challenge.

When she said that I couldn't help but feel down a little.

Katsuragi: Yeah...sure.

Homura: Well I've got to get going later.

Katsuragi: Yeah take care.

As soon as she left I kept looking at my PET.

Katsuragi: Man this blows I want my own original Navi *sigh* ah well nothing I can do about it now.

I left the classroom and went home it was there my mom greeted me.

Katsuragi's Mother: Hello sweetie how was school today?

Katsuragi: Great till I got destroyed in a Netbattle. (Netbattle: Keyword)

Katsuragi's Mother: Shouldn't you need a license to Netbattle? I don't want you getting into trouble but if Homura let you battle her I suppose that's all right since she has her license.

Katsuragi: I'll be fine I promise I won't get into trouble. So where's dad?

Katsuragi's Mother: Your father said he had to go to a meeting today and won't be coming back soon from what he said it would be about five months from now.

Katsuragi: That long?! Oh man...this could not get much worse.

Katsuragi's Mother: Well there have been incidents in which ovens just burst into flames.

Katsuragi: Was the oven looked at?

Katsuragi's Mother: I had maintenance done on it and she said it was fine.

Katsuragi: I see.

Katsuragi's Mother: Oh yes before I forget your father left something on your desk before he left. He said that you'll absolutely love it.

When she said that I began to get hyper and excited.

Katsuragi: Could it be?! My own original NetNavi?!

Katsuragi's Mother: Well go on and check but don't forget about dinner like last time when you got hyper.

Katsuragi: I won't!

I quickly went upstairs and went to my room and on my desk was an envelope, I quickly opened it up and inside was a disk along with a note.

Hey Katsuragi, how's my daughter doing? I hope you enjoy your gift, and I hope you cherish it. Until we meet again my daughter farewell.

Katsuragi: Dad thank you, thank you, thank you!

I excitedly connected my PET to my computer and uploaded the disk in there.

PET: Update scanning....found....downloading...system update complete. All data has been safely secured

I looked at my PET in astonishment seeing as how nothing is changed.

Katsuragi: Is that all?!

PET: Yes that is all.

When I heard that my excitement just popped like a balloon of pure disappointment.

Katsuragi: Oh man this blows.

I climbed onto my bed and looked at my PET in dissapointment.

Katsuragi: Dad you dummy you trolled me.

Katsuragi's Mother: Honey time for dinner.

Katsuragi: Okay...

I got off my bed and walked to the dinner table, after eating I went to brush my teeth and changed into my pajamas and went to bed.

I quickly fell asleep I heard a lot of noises coming from the background but I covered my ears with my pillow.

PET: System recognition....NetNavi Registration...data download...NetNavi Override coding installation five hours.

Katsuragi: Mrgh...

Next Morning

???: Katsuragi...Katsuragi...Katsuragi...OI KATSURAGI!

I heard a yell coming from my room and I fell onto the ground from my bed.

Katsuragi: Woah! Oof! Ugh...who's screaming so loud?

I searched around my room until a voice called out to me.

???: In here inside your PET.

I looked at my PET and saw a new NetNavi on my PET. He looked small and not all that powerful looking.

???: Hello Katsuragi, my name is Lucian it's a pleasure to meet you.

Katsuragi:...

Lucian:...

Katsuragi:...

Lucian:...Um is something wrong?

Katsuragi:...Oh man I was hoping for someone a lot more cooler, or someone stronger looking.

It was then he got depressed.

Lucian: Oh I see...I'm sorry for looking so weak. But I promise I'm strong! I really am! Your father customized me. Did you read the note?

Katsuragi: Yeah I did except it was a troll note, in which it turns out it wasn't.

Lucian: Did you read the back of the note?

Katsuragi: The back?

I grabbed the note and I turned to the back to see that there was more I did a facepalm there for not thinking there was more behind it.

This Navi is really special, I have customized him to the best of my abilities, however the rest is up to you to unlock and find. Take care my daughter I hope you cherish and appreciate this Navi.

Katsuragi: Dad thank you.

Lucian: Now get dressed it's time to go to school.

Katsuragi: Right.

I quickly got dressed once I was done Lucian was taking a good look at it.

Lucian: Your shirt button it up. You look inappropriate wearing that and besides you're going to school not have a casual day outside hanging with friends. So button it up.

Imagine the top part was two buttons undone showing a lot of her bosom.

Katsuragi: Really first day and you're complaining already? What are ya my father?

Lucian: Well I was made and customized by him so in a sense yes I'm technically your father.

Katsuragi: *sigh* Fine.

I buttoned up my shirt and went downstairs to eat some breakfast.

Katsuragi: Bye Mom I'll be going to school.

Katsuragi's Mother: Okay take care.

I quickly left the house and went to school after classes were done I met up with Homura.

Katsuragi: Homura I challenge you to a rematch!

Homura: Really all right then. Ready Asuka?

Asuka: Always ready.

Lucian:...

We both went to classroom and stood at the opposite ends of each other we both drew out our PETs and hooked them up to the battle stadium.

Katsuragi: Jack In! Lucian Execute!

Homura: Jack In! Asuka Execute!

From there our Navis materialized and Homura looked surprised.

Homura: Wow you got your own original Navi but...he doesn't look all that strong.

Lucian:...

Katsuragi: He's not weak I'll prove it to you. Lucian ready?

Lucian: I am but you're not. I won't fight.

When I heard that I fell onto the ground as did Homura.

Katsuragi: Wait what?! Why?!

Lucian: You can't Netbattle without a Netbattling license. So I will not fight.

Katsuragi: Come on please! Pretty please!

Lucian: My answer still stands no.

Homura: Wait I have my Netbattle license will you fight if I show you it?

Lucian: So long as I see it.

Homura then took out her license and showed it to my bossy, goody two shoes Navi.

Lucian: Very well then I'll fight however after this I'm not fighting any other Navi unless you get your Netbattling license.

Katsuragi: Ugh fine let's start.

Homura: Quite the stuck up Navi you got there.

Katsuragi: Trust me I know I just got him.

Lucian: Battle Routine Set....Execute.

Asuka: Begin the battle.

Homura: Battle Chip! Sword Slot in!

Asuka's hand transformed into a sword and charged straight at Lucian while Lucian just stood there not giving a care in the world until she was about close to aiming for his chest he jumped in front of her and began to attack her with quick punches and deliver a kick.

Lucian: (Battle tactic...counter.)

Homura: Battle Chip! Shockwave Slot In!

She made her hand wave and a shockwave was charging towards Lucian until he moved out of the way and changed his arm into a buster shooting at Asuka as he charged straight at her and delivered quick punches and he finsihed it off with a kick to her back.

Asuka: Hya!

Homura: Wow you weren't kidding Lucian is strong so congratulations on your victory Katsuragi.

Lucian: (Busting level...9 I need to get better, and get along well with my NetOp.)

Katsuragi: Heehee thanks. Jack out Lucian you did great.

Homura: You too Asuka good work jack out.

Lucian:...

Asuka: Hey I hope we get to fight again.

Lucian: Likewise but when my NetOp has her license.

Katsuragi: Will ya can it with the license? I'll get one this week.

Lucian: As you wish then.

After shaking hands I immediately went home and went straight upstairs and began to have a talk with him.

Katsuragi: Lucian do you have to be such a stuck up?

Lucian: I'm only saying what I feel. Your dress attire was provocative, so I had you button it up as for battle-wise well I can tell from one thing you charge head first without thinking. Have you ever took a look at the BBS in the NetSquare they provide lots of useful tips and information on viruses.

Katsuragi: You're already starting to annoy me you know.

Lucian: I'm sorry but I'm only stating the truth.

Katsuragi: Am I really that bad of an operator?

Lucian: Yes. You need practice on becoming a better one.

Katsuragi: Wow aren't you supportive?

Lucian: I try.

Katsuragi: *sigh* Now what to do?

Lucian: Homework.

Katsuragi: Ugh okay then dad I'll do my homework...or you can do it for me! After all you're super smart and intelligent because my father created you.

Lucian: Nice try Katsuragi but it's not going to work you can't reverse psychology me into doing your homework.

Katsuragi: Darn. Ah may as well do it.

After I was done with my homework I went to the kitchen to make me some dinner and brushed my teeth and went to bed.

Lucian: Good night Katsuragi.

Katsuragi: Hmph whatever.

It enables a user to make phone calls, send E-mail, store and use electronic money (known as "Zenny") and access the Internet wirelessly. It may also house a "Network Navigator", or NetNavi (or simply, "Navi".) Netbattle: NetBattle refers to the act of NetNavis fighting each other. Controlled NetBattles are friendly competitions between NetBattlers and their NetNavis. However NetOps must possess a license to Netbattle it's a popular pasttime and tournaments are often held their registration is their license. However NetNavis can also battle in a "life or death" situation with the possibility of the loser being permanently deleted. Back-up data and copies of NetNavi data can be stored to resurrect fallen Navis. Ghosts of Navis can also be encountered in the cyberworld from the remains of Navi data.
