Well here we are in Chapter 3 let's go! From here on out until the end of Hibari's Arc you'll be seeing most of the story through the eyes of Hibari. There will be some small parts where you'll see it through the eyes of other characters, the same rule applies to each of the girl's character arcs.

Hibari's POV

When we got back to the village, I gave Tomoe the full rundown of what happened during the trip back to my village needless to say Kiriya-sensei was not pleased with what I did. He was about to say something but Tomoe stopped him.

Tomoe: I see...Hibari you've done a grave error choosing to sacrifice your friend's life to save your own. That is a cruel thing to do.

Hibari: I understand I was a coward at the time and there'll be times when I'll be scared again but I promise not to do the same mistake again. This time I'll confront it even if it means my death I won't run away anymore. I'll tell my family everything that's happened and I'll be judged accordingly.

Tomoe:...(Looks like she's grown a bit now that she's learned how to take responsibility.) Okay then young man let me see what I'm dealing with.

She then went towards Lucian and took a seat beside him and grabbed both of his hands and clasped them on her own. She closed her eyes and her face began to feel strained as if something was blocking or attacking her from trying to pry closer.

Tomoe: Unbelievable! You possess a great evil within your soul and yet your heart it has a more gentle feel about it, but it's deteriorating slowly. Can you please show me this seal placed on you?

This however made Lucian feel flustered.

Lucian: Uh...I'd rather not. Not here at least please.

Tomoe: Please I must know what type of seal this is, after all this is for your sake as well.

Lucian:...*sigh* Okay then.

He then took off his shirt and upon seeing the yoma seal Tomoe held her hand on her mouth to prevent a gasp. It was then the other shrine maidens gathered and witnessed it.

Lucian: Umm...could you make this quick please? I don't like many people looking at me intensely.

Tomoe: My apologies but this is a grave situation, that yoma seal emanates an evil aura if left by itself it may just turn you into a yoma.

Lucian: Well...

Hibari: He's already transformed into a yoma.

Tomoe: What?! But then how is he a human now?

Hibari: Well it's something that only he has that can turn hin back. He has both light and darkness affinities, this is all just speculation on my end but the yoma seal is linked with his dark affinity and it transformed him into a yoma. But his light affinity came to me telling me to rescue him and when I did he returned back to being human.

Tomoe: How interesting...tell me can you do that again?

Lucian: Actually I'm not sure how I managed to give Hibari my light affinity if anything it was more or less like a it happened sort of thing.

Tomoe: Hmm...in that case...please bear with this for it will sting hopefully just a little.

I saw her pull something out of her pocket and placed it on Lucian's forehead. Immediately I could see smoke coming out of it, and it made Lucian hiss and contort in pain.

Lucian: Grrrraaaaaggghhhh!!! Rrrrgh!!!

The yoma seal began to activate as the lines began to cover his whole body and arms. His eyes became a piercing deep blue, as his nails turned into claws, his teeth turning into fangs. Tomoe simply kept her two fingers on the talisman connected to his forehead as she began to chant.

Tomoe: (Now!) Under my command as the Shrine Maiden, release this victim of the chains of evil that bind him and grant him peace!

The talisman glowed as we all covered her eyes, when we opened them the yoma seal didn't have its markings covering his body anymore. It was as if the yoma seal was shut off, it no longer glowed with its usual ominous blue. His claws returned to being fingernails, and his fangs were back into teeth. But it left Lucian looking exhausted as his body was smoking from the effects of the small purification ritual being commenced.

Lucian: *Huff....huff* Is it finally removed?

Tomoe: No it's just surpressed for now, what I did was a small purification ritual we'll have to do the rest within the shrine.

Lucian: Okay...

He tried standing but I could tell he was feeling a stinging sensation everytime he moved a muscle.

Lucian: Ah! Damn!

It was then a shrine maiden in training walked up to him and slung his arm over her.

Tomoe: I'd advise you not to move around so much.

Lucian: Yeah...thanks for that now...can we please head to the shrine?

Tomoe: Of course, walk him carefully.

Shrine Maiden in Training: Got it!

Hibari: In the meantime let's go visit my parents.

Lucian: On second thought can I please make an appearance there for a moment?

Shrine Maiden In Training: But your body is still...

Tomoe: It's okay, he'll make his appearance there and we'll head back to the shrine.

Shrine Maiden in Training: Okay.

We all exited the bus and went straight to Hibari's home. As I finally returned back home to my village with my friends most of the people had a look of fear in them for some odd reason. We went towards the door that led to the mansion as most of my friends stared in shock.

Lucian: Uh...Hibari you live here?

Hibari: Mmhm I'm the clan leader's daughter.

Katsuragi: Huh? Clan Leader's Daughter?!

Hibari: Yep now to knock on the door.

As I grabbed the handle and knocked on the door, I saw my little sister open the door and she had a look of happiness when she saw me.

Hibari: I'm back Aoi.

Aoi: Yay! Hibari's back! Hmm...

She then looked at Lucian and looked back at me. She took one deep breath instantly turned around and screamed.

Aoi: DADDY! HIBARI CAME BACK AND SHE SNAGGED A MAN WITH HER!

Lucian: Oi! Little kid let's not go that far on the deep end!

I could hear a couple of the shrine maidens including Tomoe giggling at what just happened. But it was too late she was long gone, and then I heard footsteps coming from the end of the hall and I saw my father approaching towards us.

Hibari's Father: Hibari! It's so great to see you again! And what's this I hear about you snagging a man?

At that point my face turned red and I began to get flustered.

Hibari: No! Aoi's clearly mistaken I didn't snag any man.

Hibari's Father: Course not! One of the shrine maidens got to him already. Boy!

Lucian: Yes? Wait! I'm not a boy! I'm in my teenage years!

Hibari's Father: Yeah whatever, anyways have you been treating my daughter well?

When he said that I could only glance at the side.

Tomoe: Actually Hibari has something very particular to discuss with you about, whereas for the young man we'll be taking him to the shrine?

Hibari's Father: So you're the one who snagged him. Well may both of you and your kids be filled with many blessings.

In a sarcastic tone she responded.

Tomoe: Very funny, anyways I'll be doing a purification ritual on him he'll be staying at the shrine tonight.

Hibari's Father: I see well then I wish you luck, although if things do escalate from there boy make sure you give her one heck of a grappprgh!

I looked to the side and one of the shrine maidens held a hose in her hand as she blasted water on my father's face.

Hibari's Father: Okay I'll take back what I said.

Shrine Maiden In Training: It's only when Hibari's around do you drop that serious air about you.

Hibari's Father: Well what can I say I haven't seen my daughter in a year so it's good she's returned.

Tomoe: Right well we should get going good night and stay safe leader.

Hibari's Father: Likewise.

I saw them take Lucian away while for the rest of us we went back to my house. When we entered my friends were looking everywhere in my home staring at it with wonder.

Katsuragi: Whoa this place is huge!

Yagyu: Tell me about it! To think that you live here Hibari is astonishing.

Asuka: Mmhm I never knew that you lived in a place like this.

Hibari's Father: Well being the leader of the village has its pros and cons. Pros luxurious life for the family, Cons having to keep record of nearly everything that happens in the village, to be honest I'm not sure if I can keep track due to what's happening now.

Yagyu: You mean all the uprising of yomas near the village?

Hibari's Father: Yes, the shrine maidens are out on patrol every now and again but the way to kill them lands in their territory, you can't just outright kill them. You have to purify them in order to deal significant damage enough for them to be killed.

Katsuragi: So these yomas are evolved because when we fought the yomas all it takes to kill them is to strike them at a vital area and that's it.

Hibari's Father: *sigh* If only it were that easy.

We then went into the dining room and butlers came placing the food around the table as we all took our seats, and said a small prayer before digging in until I realized something.

Hibari: Wait where's mom?

Hibari's Father: She exhausted herself to sleep waiting for you all to get here, I can't even imagine how that interaction would be like if your mother heard what Aoi said. She'd most likely pressure him into marrying.

I looked to where Ikaruga was and she had a look of shock on her face, until she resumed eating. As my father kept talking I looked around and noticed a lot of things were different than when I left.

Hibari's Father: So I heard you had something to talk to me about.

I looked at my food in fear but I promised myself that I would tackle it head on. I took in a deep breath and began to tell everything of what happened. His reaction was more on the lines of disappointment than anger. He drank his tea and placed the cup on the table as he turned to face me.

Hibari's Father: So how will you make it up to him? You nearly sacrificed your friend's life out of your own cowardice, not to mention you screwed his life over. How will you fix it?

Hibari: I....I'm not too sure...

Hibari's Father: Well you better find a way and I don't mean in terms of being his girlfriend or wife if you've gone that far. All I do know is that he's suffering from your decision.

Hibari: I know...

Hibari's Father: Well everyone be safe and well for tomorrow I'll brief you in on the details on what's going on.

After dinner my friends were given their own rooms and I brushed my teeth and began to think what could I do to help Lucian.

Meanwhile

Lucian's POV

We were walking further away from the village and reached to where the shrine was, immediately I felt something stirring within me it was like something in there was calling out to me. However an unbearable feeling that presided within the shrine made my skin feel like it was being burned.

Lucian: Nnnh...

Tomoe: What's wrong?

Lucian: Something within the shrine is making my body feel like I'm being burned alive.

Tomoe: Y-you can sense the spiritual power emanating from there?

Lucian: Yes I can. To be honest it's quite potent.

Shrine Maiden in Training: Then that would mean your body has become accustomed to the yoma side instead of your human side.

When she said that my eyes went into shock at what she said.

Lucian: Wait what?! A-are you telling me I'm a yoma impersonating as a human?! Oh...oh I don't feel so good after hearing that.

Tomoe: Relax we'll bring you back to normal. I swear on my life.

Lucian: I really hope so...c-can we um do the purification ritual out here because if I get any nearer to the shrine I feel like my body might burst into flames.

Tomoe: Here's have this.

She gave me a talisman and when I grabbed it the effects feel like they've been reduced significantly. The burning sensation was there but it's not as intense as it was before, the feeling of bursting into flames is gone.

Lucian: Haah...thank you.

Tomoe: No problem.

She then gave me one of the kindest smiles and to be honest I was taken aback a little. She looked really cute when she was smiling.

Lucian: Ah...

Tomoe: Hmm? What's wrong?

Lucian: Ah! N-Nothing is wrong! L-Let's just continue on with the purification ritual.

With a gentle smile on her face she encouraged me to keep on going.

Tomoe: That's the spirit! Now let's go.

I've noticed that animal statues were placed on top of pillars, one was of a cat, a dog, a cow, a hamster, and many others.

Lucian: Wow there's certainly a lot of statues here.

Tomoe: That is to honor the animals and grant spiritual protection.

Lucian: (These statues look almost lifelike, the attention to detail is simply incredible.)

We then proceeded into the shrine and I felt a burning sensation much stronger than what I felt outside. I collapsed on my knees as I felt my body feel like it's on fire. The others noticed too as I saw smoke begin to arise from my body.

Lucian: Haah...haah...this is...unbearable, I don't think that talisman is working here on the inside. I feel like my body's gonna burst into flames.

Tomoe: Quickly! Take him further inside and prepare the ritual.

Boktai 1 OST: Pile Driver

Two of the shrine maidens held me up by arms as I was brought onto the site. My body continued to produce smoke from my body as I could feel myself being set on fire. Tomoe then stood in front of me as she quickly began to remove my shirt and began to write something on a talisman as she said a small prayer.

Tomoe: By my prayer, heed my call! The soul of evil that envelops this human release him from your chains of hell! Purifying Seal!

She then placed the talisman on the yoma seal and I could feel my skin flare up as the seal made contact. From the contact the last thing I saw was my skin being enveloped by an orange aura.

Lucian: Guh...GAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Tomoe's POV

After placing the seaI on him two of my students gently carried him to his room for the night, I then began to think on how did that young man even have such a thing placed on him. I then began to brew some tea for myself and my students.

Tomoe: *sigh* How could such a thing have happened to him?

Shrine Maiden In Training 1: Not sure all I know is that he harbors a great evil within him. To be honest this isn't like your everyday amount of spiritual sin this one is more potent. You could actually feel it.

Tomoe: Indeed and that same evil can be traced to the yomas that have been running about, however there's a small difference between them it's faint but between him and the yomas it's that he hasn't forsaken his humanity.

Shrine Maiden In Training 2: Yes however I feel that...that seal might not be removed as easily as you might think. There's still some faint traces of evil within him.

Tomoe: True but don't worry we can fix that up tomorrow.

I stepped outside to get some fresh air, as I took in a deep breath I felt a chill run down my spine. I turned back and saw both of my students beheaded as their blood stained the floor. I unsheathed my blade, as I immediately ran back inside ready to confront on whoever was responsible for their demise.

???: Right behind you.

I sliced behind me only for my attack to slice nothing.

Lucian: Ah...ah...

I looked behind me and saw him covered in blood as he trembled in fear. I went towards him and began to question him of what happened, but as soon as I got closer he then did something unexpected he began to walk almost like an animal and immediately pounced on the corpse and began to consume them, however as he was doing this he began to cry tears of blood as he himself was also trying hard to stop himself from the momentary pauses. I threw out my talismans at him but when they made contact it shocked him in the process but what followed next made me feel fear. A haunting, sinister laughter filled the room. I looked around only to find nothing.

Undertale: Chara laugh (basically this)

Lucian: Those talismans won't work on me, try and purify me and you'll kill him as well after all our souls are connected.

I looked back to where Lucian was and his eyes were red as he stopped eating the corpse.

Tomoe: That won't happen, I'll break him free from his curse and you'll vanish forever.

Lucian: Hehehehe just try it, you won't win.

I quickly wrote down a seal on a talisman and threw it at him but the talisman burned to a crisp before it could reach him.

Tomoe: Wh-what?!

Lucian: In here your little purification talismans won't work after all you're in my domain.

Tomoe: The room around began to shift and an overwhelming evil began to seep through the walls as my own shrine became what looked to be a broken classroom with the horrendous stench of death to the corpses and other body parts and intestines strewn about. It was overwhelming to feel this much evil emanating from this room alone and chances are if it's just this room how deep does this place of hatred and malice seep into.

Tomoe: (I have to escape from this place and fast.)

I then began to run towards him and was prepared to kill the evil that inhabited his body but with a wave of his hand a blade appeared and blocked the attack. My spiritual power was rendered useless here until I felt a faint presence within myself which then shined from my body forcing me to close my eyes. As I opened my eyes I was back outside and felt a light pull on me and it was one of my students and they were both okay. Both had a look of concern as I began to rub my eyes.

Tomoe: What? What the?!

Shrine Maiden In Training 1: We felt a massive amount of evil spike from within you? Are you okay?

Tomoe: Yes but...he...

Shrine Maiden in Training 2: The boy we just brought in?

Tomoe: Yes how is fairing?

Shrine Maiden In Training 1: We just set him down not too long ago it's only been what like two or three minutes since we set him down.

Tomoe: What?! Are you serious?

Shrine Maiden In Training 2: Yes it's only been a few minutes since we last set him down.

I quickly ran into the guest bedroom and there he was asleep but his face had a look of fear and and anguish compared to previously where he showed no emotion on his face after the purification. I held his left hand in my hands and with a faint glow I felt a sense of a spiritual power increase as I could feel myself being harmonized with it. The look of fear became that of a face of peace.

Tomoe: (Looks like that fear is gone...but that other side of him that's something to worry about. I honestly pity you for carrying a heavy burden on you.) Hm?

I noticed that there was something red staining the blankets and I pulled back the blanket to discover that half of his arm was soaked in blood.

Tomoe: Wh-what the? (How is that even possible? The purification shouldn't make his arm half of his arm be drenched in blood. What is going on? Unless...)

I thought back to my first encounter with the evil side of Lucian and began to try to piece together what is happening. But nothing came up so I took it upon myself to wash his arm from the blood and took him to my bed. For I will oversee for his wellbeing.

Tomoe: (Just what is happening to you now Lucian.)

Hibari's POV

After brushing my teeth I went to bed and began to sleep. I could hear faint yet familiar voices.

Corpse Party Zero OST: Track 5 (A.K.A The Nightmare Of The School Years.)

???: Please just stop! I don't want this! Why?! Why're you doing this?! I...I...AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!

The voice went silent as I opened my eyes and saw that I was resting in what appeared to be broken down wooden hallway.

Hibari: Huh? Wh-why am I here? I was back in my bed what's going on?

I got up from the ground and decided to head to the right along the way I found a bunch of skeletons piled on top of each other. I stepped back only for me to snap something underneath my feet and it was a bone. I traversed through the pile of skulls without breaking anything until I felt the place rumble.

Hibari: Wh-what the?! An earthquake?! I've got to woah!

The pathway that I maneuvered over has been completely destroyed and any means of going back was completely out the question. I decided to progress forward and found a door I looked at the sign and it said "Science Room" I tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge. I proceeded to head further within the hallways, the smell here is horrendous. Body parts were strewn about, corpses were on the floor I was starting to get really scared. I tried calling for someone but I heard a creak come from behind me, at that point my senses were screaming at me to run away and not look back. The creaking became louder and louder with every step, until I steeled myself and ran for it. I kept running down the stairs until I slipped off something slimy. I turned around and saw that I slipped off an internal organ from the looks of it.

???: Oh look a new playmate!

I was instantly startled by the childlike voice and turned around to see a girl but their body was making some sort of red aura around them which was odd.

???: Wow! You look so cute, you should be the next "model" for the art class. Come on let's go!

She grabbed me by my wrist and for such a small child they were unusually strong and dragged me to the art room downstairs. My heart was beating rapidly as I heard lots of giggling when we approached the art room.

???: Okay miss you'll be the best "model" we've ever had! That cute face of yours will look even better if it was filled with fear and tears...hmm empty eye sockets works well too. As for your body...hmm I say if it was out in the open with everything exposed from your heart, to your ribcage, to your guts. So come on let's go in already!

At that point I had to fight back but when I tried to use my lightning affinity nothing happened, I truly realized that I was actually going to die here.

Hibari: (No! I...I don't want to die here! I still haven't made it up to Lucian yet! There's still so much I have to do! Someone...anyone save me!)

I was dragged into the art room and from there lots of children were in there ready with paintbrushes.

???: Everyone I found a new model!

Other kids were cheering in joy and I felt something slice my arm making a wound appear.

Hibari: Ouch!

One of the children sliced my arm making it leak out blood and then dipped their paintbrush onto the wound and then went back to their spot to paint. That same kid began to shout.

Boy Spirit: Hey her blood's really good for paint! So let's drain her dry of her blood and then use her as a model.

The girl that still held my wrist responded back.

Girl Spirit: No we still need for her to be the model so we'll take our time with her. We already made a wound on her right arm so we could draw more blood from her but the rest she'll be our model. Heehee.

The other children began to laugh as I began to cry.

Hibari: *sob* (Someone...anyone...please help me.)

The children grabbed some sort wooden construct that had nails jutting out from it and I could only tell they were going to place me there and pierce my body.

As the girl dragged me forward I heard the door open and I saw a golden glow emanating and then Lucian appeared.

Lucian:...

Children Spirits:...

The girl that grabbed my wrist screamed out.

Girl Spirit: RUN AWAY!

The children then vanished into air as my arm was now free from her grasp.

Lucian: Hibari, are you okay?

I quickly ran to him and hugged him while sobbing

Hibari: *sob* Y-yes! B-But how are you here?

Lucian: *sigh* It's been reoccurring a lot, but anyways this isn't a good place to talk let's get out of here.

He then took my hand and led me out but the strangest part that felt weird is that why did his hand feel cold? He took me away from the art and we headed back up. Along the way my tears have stopped and I began to talk with him.

Hibari: So...how are you here?

Lucian: Not sure like I said before it's been reoccurring.

Hibari: Also I'm curious how do you have a golden aura?

Lucian: Golden aura? What're you talking about? I don't have an aura around me.

Hibari: Yes you do, I can see it!

Lucian: Oi, oi are your eyes working alright?

Hibari: Yes.

Lucian:...Well anyways now to find a way out of here.

I feel like he intentionally avoided that question because either he knows about that, or he truly doesn't know and I'm just making assumptions.

Hibari: How did we even get here? This isn't my home I know that much is certain. I'm really getting scared of this place.

Lucian: About your first question not sure myself, but it's alright as long as we stick together we'll be okay.

When he said that a smile formed on my face.

Hibari: Right.

We explored around the upper floor but there wasn't anything there that can help us. However along the way we passed by a bathroom and then I paused.

Lucian: What's wrong?

Hibari: (This whole thing's been making me want to use the bathroom.) Um I need to use the bathroom.

Lucian: Oh...all right but make it quick...Hibari do you want me to be with you as in you go to the stall and wait inside? Or stand out in the hallway?

I chose the safest option for me.

Hibari: P-please just stand near me...I don't want to be alone in there.

Lucian:...All right then in ya go.

We both went into the girls bathroom and went to the stall while he waited near the entrance inside.

Lucian's POV

While Hibari was inside the bathroom I looked in the mirror and I saw myself but as a black shadow with red eyes I quickly turned away from it and waited until I heard Hibari's voice but something felt off with it.

Hibari: He always looks at her...but why won't he look at me? I want him to notice me, I want him to look at me the same way he looks at her. What does she have that I don't? Is it her beauty? Is it her voice? Is it her breasts? Is it her resolve in battle? She can't even come up with new techniques not like me. I want him for myself, I want to keep him for myself, I don't want anyone else to have him...heeheehee he doesn't have a choice...Oh Lucian~please teach this bad girl on how to be good after all I deserved it for when I sacrificed you to save myself punish me however you see fit~

Lucian: ! I instantly turned around to the mirror and saw Hibari bloody with a wide smile on her face, as her eyes were soulless.

Hibari: Oh Lucian...make my wish come true I want you to be all mine.

Lucian: (Calm yourself and think rationally it's only been about 2 minutes so she still isn't done...this is all just a trick there's no way Hibari is like this. Just ignore this thing.)

I crossed my arms and closed my eyes until I heard the real Hibari screaming a few moments later. I quickly opened my eyes and the illusion was gone.

Hibari: Lucian help me please! The door is locked and I can't unlock it or force it open! Blood is rising up from the toilet!

Lucian: Coming!

I went to open the stall but the door was shut tight. I tried to shove the door open nothing happened.

Hibari: It's rising at a fast rate! I-it's reaching towards my neck!

Lucian: *phew* Okay let's try this.

I punched the door with my right hand and to my success the punch went through the door making a hole so when I pulled my fist back blood started to come through the hole. I retreated back as the blood kept spilling out until it stopped. I heard the door open and Hibari was soaked in blood from her neck down, and she looked terrified out of her mind.

Hibari: Uuuuhh...I want to go home!

Lucian: (She's getting desperate, there has to be an exit somewhere around here. But where? Hmm?)

My body began to glow in a radiating light and Hibari walked up to me.

Hibari: Lucian what's happening to you?

Lucian: Not sure.

???: This way please.

Lucian: (Tomoe? How is she here?)

Tomoe: Follow my voice and you'll return safely I promise.

Lucian: Hibari let's go back home.

Hibari: R-really that's great! Let's go.

I followed Tomoe's voice and it led to a classroom for Kindergarten. We both went inside the classroom and a warm light enveloped us.

Chapter 3 all done hoped you guys enjoyed it also here's what the original idea for Chapter 2 was and then I did some minor improvements. But I have to say I like the new improved version better. What do you guys think?

Lucian's POV

I was going through the hallways of the abandoned school and tried looking for somebody or anybody at this point. I made a left turn and saw Hibari.

Lucian: Hibari thank goodness I found you.

Hibari: Lucian! Hibari is glad she found you too.

Lucian: Any clue how we got here? This isn't Hanzo Academy I know that much is certain.

Hibari: No clue...Hibari is really scared of this place.

Lucian: It's alright as long as we stick together we'll be all right. Okay.

Hibari: Okay.

We both decided to go to the third floor seeing as how there is nothing there. However along the way we passed by a bathroom and then Hibari paused.

Lucian: What's wrong?

I looked at her and saw she was fidgeting and looked to the side and saw the bathroom and I pieced it together.

Lucian: Oh...all right make it quick but do you want me to be with you as in you go to the stall and wait inside? Or stand out in the hallway?
