Okay let's get started with Chapter 1 of Season 2!

Next Day Lucian's POV

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside my room, and an overwhelming sense of cold. I felt like my body was shut inside the freezer. I tucked myself in hoping both blankets could keep me warm but I was shivering nonstop it was so bad that I could see my own breath like if it was in winter.

Lucian: (Oh man this sucks!) I-I n-need I-Ikaruga.

I walked with my two blankets, wearing it like a robe, and proceeded downstairs, every step felt brutal as I kept getting colder and colder until I finally reached the dining room where everyone was at, however their faces was far from happy they were in complete and total shock.

Asuka: Oh my god, Lucian!

Ikaruga: Wh-What happened to you?

Katsuragi: Holy snap! That's uh..new.

Lucian: I-Ikaruga, p-please I-I n-n-n-need y-y-your h-help.

Ikaruga: Okay what do you need me to do?

Lucian: I-I n-n-need you to t-t-transfer m-me s-s-s-some h-heat p-please.

Ikaruga: O-Okay, let me think for a couple of moments.

After a couple of minutes she then approached me and began to hug me.

Lucian: I-I h-highly d-d-doubt a h-hug would h-help w-warm me up.

Ikaruga: Shh..I haven't done it completely so relax and let me handle this okay?

I only just gave a short nod. As we continued hugging one another for like a minute or two, I felt my body beginning to warm up as I then noticed our bodies began to glow in a red aura. We remained like that for a couple of minutes more until I couldn't feel the freezing sensation that I had back when I woke up. She then let go of me and looked into my eyes.

Ikaruga: There, that should take care of it. How do you feel, Lucian?

Lucian: I don't feel that freezing sensation anymore, thank goodness. Although I wonder what exactly did you do?

Ikaruga: I used my own chakra as a fire transference to raise your body temperature so, right now your body temperature should match mine.

Lucian: Thanks a whole lot, Ikaruga! I greatly appreciate it.

I responded with a smile whereas Katsuragi was staring at me intently.

Katsuragi: So uh...that freezing sensation, I didn't know it dyed your hair white and made your skin super pale.

I gave Katsuragi a questioning look.

Lucian: Huh?

Hibari: Katsuragi's right! Your hair color is kinda like Yagyu's, and your skin looks super pale it's like sunlight hasn't touched you in ages.

Lucian:....

I quickly ran to the mirror, and much to my shock they were right. My hair turned from black to white, and my skin that normally had it's usual color became extremely pale.

Lucian: Oh come on! Ya gotta be kidding me! What's next?! Me having a craving for human flesh?...GAH I REALLY HOPE I DIDN'T JINX MYSELF THERE! *sigh* Well I can at least make do with some hair dye, as for the extremely pale skin sunbathing might help...probably.

Asuka: Um Lucian? Is everything okay in there?

Lucian: Yeah everything's fine oh yeah did you tell the rest of the girls about the baseball game today?

Asuka: Mmhm they're all down to watch.

Lucian: Okay then when that Suzuki guy's team shows up we'll be there to watch. (Now main question will this guy actually focus and win or will he cower and lose just from Asuka's presence alone?) Well in the meantime I'd better warm myself up for some exercises and then from there...I don't know.

I went to the rooftop to do some warm up exercises and from there trained a little. I tried to see if I could use my chakra but to no avail still.

Lucian: Yeesh I know Byakuya said the regeneration will be slowed after the usage of the seal but I didn't expect it to take this long.

After doing my daily exercises I went downstairs to take a shower. After that I went to visit Ikaruga in order to discuss on the whole body temperature transference, that is until Hibari approached me in the hallway.

Hibari: Lucian can I talk to you for a moment?

Lucian: Sure what is it?

With an eager shout she raised both her arms up in joy.

Hibari: Teach me on how you did that awesome move!

Lucian: What you mean my voltic fist technique? Uh Hibari I don't know if you remember but...I can't use chakra so I can't help you with that.

Hibari: You could explain it to me on how you do it!

Lucian: All right let me talk to Ikaruga first, and then I can tell you how I did it.

Hibari: Okay.

I knocked on Ikaruga's door and she opened it.

Ikaruga: Yes?

Lucian: Hey Ikaruga I wanted to talk with you in terms of the whole heat transference thing.

Ikaruga: Mmhm?

Lucian: Well would you mind accompanying for the day if it comes back?

Ikaruga: Sure I don't mind at all.

Lucian: Okay...so Hibari asked me to teach her well more or less explain how I used a new technique on that giant yoma.

Ikaruga: Which one? The one where you broke through the ceiling or made yourself into a living nuke?

Lucian: The first one.

Ikaruga: Okay then, let's go.

We stepped outside and saw Hibari waiting for us excitedly.

Hibari: Come on let's go!

Lucian: I've never seen you this eager before.

Hibari: It's because I learning a new technique that you made!

Lucian: Right but you're still a newbie with the spark barrier, so train some more with that.

Hibari: Okay! But can you please teach me the new technique? Pretty please?

Lucian: All right, all right cool your eager head I'll tell you how I did it.

We went to the rooftop as I began my explanation.

Lucian: So the first thing you want to do is gather electricity in your hand a small burst should suffice.

Hibari then produced a small amount of lightning on her right hand.

Lucian: Good now if it was a lightning storm outside, you need to let your own lightning become it's own lightning rod anchoring the storm's lightning to you, from there that lightning is yours to control. After that make that hand of yours become a fist and let it loose onto the target and that's it.

Hibari: Okay I'll go master this new technique right away!

Lucian: Hold it eager rabbit there's a risk to this technique as well. For one you won't feel the hand that's being used to create the technique, second is your hand might suffer from burning injuries. Take those risks into account, it's more or less like a final gamble type of technique.

Hibari: I see...thank you very much Lucian!

Lucian: No problem now shall we head back down?

Hibari: Nah I want to at least get the general grasp of this technique.

Lucian: If you say so let's go Ikaruga.

Ikaruga: All right.

We left Hibari on the rooftop as we proceeded to head back down. Ikaruga and I made some small talk as we continued.

Lucian: Hibari's certainly improving by leaps and bounds.

Ikaruga: Indeed she's changed a lot, ever since you began training her she's like a completely different person now...so about the heat transference...uh...I think it might be best if we stuck together even when we're about to sleep because we don't know when that cold feeling will return.

I could only blush at the last part but she's right I don't even know when it's coming back.

Lucian: *sigh* You're right...so...we'll be uh sleeping together.

Ikaruga: Y-Yeah b-b-but this is just for the heat transfer only.

Lucian: Right right right.

We went downstairs to get a quick bite to eat and went back to our own rooms. Seven hours has passed until Katsuragi came into my room telling me that Suzuki and his team are here. I looked at my clock and saw that it was four. All of us met up at the foyer and began to walking to the baseball field. We saw the teams on the other side of the gate and I spotted Suzuki doing some stretches to prepare himself for the big game. It was then he turned around and saw us, and came over to speak with us. However that nervousness lingered when he got close to Asuka.

Suzuki: S-so you came.

Asuka: Sure did, and these are the friends I was talking about.

He looked at each of them and greeted them that was when he saw me as I gave a small smirk.

Lucian: Yo.

Suzuki: It's you!

Asuka: You two met?

Lucian: Yeah we accidentally bumped into each other at the supermarket.

Suzuki: R-right right! Nothing else happened.

Lucian: (Did you really have to make that last part sound like something did happen?) Anyways good luck to you and your team also...

I got closer to the gate so that only Suzuki hears me.

Lucian: Don't let Asuka distract you, focus on your win for this. This all depends on how you play if you let her distract you then forget your chance of being with her. Got it?

Suzuki: R-right.

Lucian: Good now follow my lead...in 3, 2, 1. Okay with that being said again I wish you and your team the best don't botch it.

He then gave me a confident grin.

Suzuki: Yes!

Lucian: Heh now let's go.

We began walking to the benches and took our seats as the rest of people came to claim a seat to watch the game.

Asuka: So Lucian what did you tell him?

Lucian: I gave him a pep talk for guys. (Now hopefully you won't be a disappointment.)

As the players got on the field Asuka looks at Suzuki's team with anticipation she began to cheer them on as the rest of us began to cheer. After a couple of hits it was time for the team to switch and from there Suzuki was the pitcher.

Asuka: Go Suzuki!

Suzuki: !

He looked to where we were at and froze up and immediately I began to question.

Lucian: (Now what will you do? Will you let her distract you? Or will you ignore the weakness within and get that batter out?)

He looked a bit nervous until he saw me, I shot a glare at him and it snapped him out of that nervous state.

Lucian: *sigh* (Why's he getting on my nerves so easily? He shouldn't I understand where he's coming from but for some odd reason that nervous stance that he's in...it's pissing me off.)

Ikaruga: Is something wrong?

Lucian: No it's nothing...

With Suzuki being calm he began to throw the baseball as the batter swung three times and he got them out. After that came another batter and he swung it only for Suzuki to catch it and toss it onto first base getting them out. Then another batter came and just like the first one Suzuki got them out.

Asuka: ALL RIGHT SUZUKI! YOU GOT THIS!

Katsuragi: Hehe you sure are rooting for him a whole lot did you start to develop a crush on him?

Asuka: No he's just a friend.

Lucian: Asuka I highly doubt him confessing to you and running off, along with encountering him at the supermarket qualifies as a friend.

Asuka: W-well he seems like a really nice guy.

Lucian: (Nice guy...) Ngh!

I clutched my head in pain as I heard a familiar voice but the face I couldn't recognize. I then began to recall a faint memory. There were three people myself, a girl, and another guy but this guy gave me an unbearable urge to rip him apart.

Flashback

Girl: Lucian you're a nice guy but...I rather go out with him than with you.

Lucian: Wh-what why?

Girl: Thing is he knows exactly how to treat me isn't that right babe?

Boy: There's nothing better than taking what's yours. After all she isn't meant to be with you she belongs to me. Now then...

He kicked me in the stomach and stepped on my abdomen.

Boy: Let's make you face reality.

He gave me the most sadistic grin that everything in my body was telling me to kill him and rip him limb from limb. But nothing happened the only thing I felt was fear and pain. It was then he raised his fist back and was about to punch me until I felt something touch my hand I flinched making me back away from them and saw Ikaruga holding my hand looking at me worriedly while Katsuragi, Yagyu, and Hibari looked at me with concern.

Flashback ends

Ikaruga: Are you okay?

Lucian: Ngh yeah I'm fine just a slight headache.

Yagyu: The yoma seal began to glow while you were clutching your head. Are you sure you're all right?

Katsuragi: If you want we can talk about this now away from the rest.

Lucian: No no it's alright. Sorry for giving you all a scare but I'm fine right now. Let's just focus on the game right now.

The girls looked at me worryingly until they began to watch the game in my mind I began to think that it might be better to jot those memories down perhaps I might uncover more. As I was done thinking there were already four of Suzuki's teammates on each of the bases and Suzuki stepped up to the plate. He did a couple of practice swings until he steeled himself as the pitcher threw the ball. The bat made contact sending it flying far away from where the field was at.

Asuka: IT'S A HOMERUN!!! HOORAY!

I smiled lightly at Asuka's response and with that the baseball game ended.

Asuka's POV

After the game was done the rest of my friends went back to Hanzo Academy whereas I waited for Suzuki to be alone and went to talk with him.

Suzuki: Oh! Asuka you were waiting for me?

Asuka: Mmhm congratulations on you and your teammates victory.

Suzuki: Th-Thanks...um if you want we could hang out together at some point if you're okay with that?

Asuka: Hmm...(I guess it should be alright since no major mission came up but if something did come up I'd have to leave him hanging.) How about I meet up with you instead? One of these days I'll meet up with you and we can hang out together okay? Just come by in like a week or so.

Suzuki: Th-that'd be fine with me. So take care of yourself okay?

Asuka: All right and you be safe okay.

Suzuki: Right thank you.

We parted ways from there and I went back to Hanzo Academy Katsuragi was the most eager one to listen on what happened.

Katsuragi: So how did your talk with the superstar feel like?

Asuka: It was pleasant, and if at all possible we might start hanging out more.

Yagyu: Hehe that's great to hear.

Katsuragi: Ah our Asuka's beginning to bloom.

Asuka: Hey! What do you mean by that?

Katsuragi: Oh nothing~

Asuka: Jeez.

Hibari: The game was really fun!

Asuka: Indeed it was, speaking of which where's Lucian?

Katsuragi: He said he had something to take care of he'll be right back.

Asuka: Oh okay then who's ready for futomaki rolls?

Girls: We are!

Meanwhile with Lucian

I met up with Suzuki further down the road after he said his goodbyes to Asuka.

Lucian: Heh, So congrats on your big win.

Suzuki: Thanks to what you told me it worked and well aside from the menacing glare of yours I could talk to Asuka with a bit more confidence.

I could give a small smirk as I walked past him and placed my hand on his shoulder.

Lucian: Keep that up and you just might win her heart.

Suzuki: Seriously?

Lucian: Mmhm.

Suzuki: All right thank you! Goodbye oh right I never did get your name.

Lucian: It's Lucian.

Suzuki: Got it thank you Lucian.

Lucian: No problem. Goodnight.

I went back to Hanzo Academy just in time for Asuka to finish making her futomaki rolls, I sat down and began to eat while we talked about the game however the conversation took a different turn when Yagyu began to question me.

Yagyu: So Lucian what happened during the baseball game? You were holding your head in pain as the yoma seal began to glow.

Lucian:...(Urgh that's a subject I'd rather avoid talking about.)

Katsuragi: Oh yeah I almost completely forgot what did happen back there?

Lucian: I'm not sure...it's probably nothing I can't remember much of it at all. (Sorry for lying to you all but this is a subject I'm not ready to talk about.)

The girls looked questionably at me thinking that I might be hiding something, I felt that they might pry further but Asuka chirped in at the right moment.

Asuka: Well I think it might be best to keep a diary, you can write all the memories you can call back from back then and we can try to help you.

Lucian: (Thanks Asuka I don't know if you knew about my discomfort or you just happened to say it through pure luck but thank you.) Yeah I'll be sure to do that tomorrow.

We heard the door open and in came Hanzo with a letter.

Asuka: Hi grandpa! Want a futomaki roll?

Hanzo: No thank you I already brushed my teeth getting myself ready for bed. Hibari this letter's addressed to you it looks urgent. Have a good night girls.

He gave Hibari the envelope and left. Hibari stared at it and all of us looked at it and noticed a picture of a rabbit stamped on it.

Hibari: ! What's happening?

She opened the letter and read through it and her face went to shock and worry.

Hibari: Oh no! This is terrible!

Asuka: What's happened?

Hibari: The yomas they're starting to appear outside my village.

Girls & Lucian: What?!

Lucian: Then we got to get you back home pronto.

Katsuragi: Yeah once we get there we can go kick some yoma ass!

Yagyu: Mmhm if we don't go who knows how much destruction those yomas will do?

Ikaruga: Right so everyone let's go.

Asuka: Wait on everybody we at least got to know how far is Hibari's village?

I saw Hibari's face turn into a sheepish smile as she pressed her index fingers together.

Hibari: Ehehehe....The way to my village takes...two days to get there.

Girls & Lucian: TWO DAYS?!

She quickly covered her ears as the first word was said.

Hibari: Ouch! Hey! The road to getting from my home to Hanzo Academy isn't easy you know.

Lucian: True...from my home to Hanzo Academy it takes one hour to get here by car, two hours thirty minutes by train. On foot well...hope you have camping gear with you.

Ikaruga: Well okay then Hibari you'll be our guide to leading us to your home okay...so in this case you'll be the leader on this.

Hibari: Seriously?! Me be the leader?

Asuka: Mmhm you'll be leading us on where to go for this mission.

Lucian: True and think of it this way this'll be your first time getting your feet wet in the leader role. So whatever you say in terms of the field and battle we'll listen to your orders.

Hibari: O-Okay!

We all looked at Hibari with smiles on our faces, however a realization hit me.

Lucian: Oh yeah we should get our stuff packed and ready if we intend on going to the village. We'll have to rest up for tonight cause tomorrow the trip begins.

Girls: Yes!

We all ate the last of our food, brushed our teeths and went to our rooms to begin packing. As I began packing I began to wonder what Hibari's village was like. The thought of going to a new area sounded so exciting to me. I kept packing up most of my stuff until a knock was made at my door.

Lucian: Come in.

The door opened and Ikaruga came in with her pink pajamas. I looked at her for awhile until I went back to packing while talking. I then heard footsteps walking and then a slight creak was made on the bed assuming she sat down on it.

Ikaruga: What is it? Is something wrong?

Lucian: Ya know the pink color is mainly Hibari's thing, I never expected you to wear pink I thought it'd be the color black.

Ikaruga: H-Hey! I try to add variety to my clothing and nightwear, I'm not a vampire you know.

When she said that I couldn't help but laugh at her response.

Lucian: Pfft ahahaha! You? A vampire? Ahahaha! Haah...what a hoot.

Owl: Hoot, hoot.

Lucian: Hrm?

I looked out the window and saw an owl looking at me from the tree near my window as it blinked slowly. I kept staring at it as it stared back at me.

Owl: Hoot, hoot.

Lucian:...Uh hoot?

Owl: Hoot hoot.

Ikaruga began to giggle at the interaction I was having with the owl.

Ikaruga: Fufufu...Are you carrying a conversation with that owl?

Lucian: Apparently yes somehow.

Owl: Hoot, hoot.

Lucian: Hoot?

Owl: Hoot, hoot.

It then flew away from it's tree branch and roamed the night sky. I turned around as Ikaruga had a playful look on her face.

Ikaruga: So what did that owl tell you?

Lucian: Don't know to be honest, but anyways so...ready?

Both of us blushed at the thought of sleeping together.

Ikaruga: Y-yes...(Why am I getting so flustered?)

Lucian: (We're just sleeping together...nothing more than that.) All right then I'll join you on the bed.

She took the right side while I took the left as we faced away from each other.

ba-dump, ba-dump, ba-dump

Lucian: S-so...um...goodnight Ikaruga.

Ikaruga: R-right good night Lucian.

We only laid there in silence as I soon felt cold again, and it was coming back with a vengeance as I felt myself freezing.

Lucian: Brr...s-so cold...

I then felt Ikaruga grab my left hand and hold it in hers. I turned towards her as she then used her chakra to send her heat to me, and I could feel myself returning back to my regular temperature.

Lucian: Thanks Ikaruga I appreciate it.

Ikaruga: It's no problem now...let's get to sleep okay?

Lucian: Heh alright.

We both looked up at the ceiling as we began to drift into slumber.

Next day.

I felt something beside me as I moved a bit I felt something on my left side, believing that it was Ikaruga I moved to my right but I felt something else there too which it shouldn't otherwise I would've hit the floor. I slowly opened my eyes to see two eyes with a clover symbol on them staring right at me. I let out a shriek as I hit my head on their head.

Lucian: Duwah! Ouch!

Hibari: Ouch!

We both rubbed our heads in pain as I opened my eye I saw Hibari's eyes glow a bit, and for some odd reason my mind felt hazy. It was like I couldn't think straight.

Hibari: Lucian it's time to get up sleepyhead. We have to go back to my home and rescue everyone.

For some strange reason I felt like I had no control over what I was saying, let alone doing.

Lucian: Y-yeah sure let's go rescue everyone. I have to wake Ikaruga up.

Hibari: Leave that to me Lucian, you just go and enjoy breakfast we'll meet up with you soon okay?

That last word sounded a bit too sweet but I was compelled to follow her order. As I went to the dining room my mind cleared up and I felt like I was back to normal that is until I felt a backlash. I clutched my head like I just went through a major headache.

Lucian: Woah...my head...ungh...

After five minutes I was feeling back to my old self it was strangely quiet. No sounds were being made it was like I was completely alone it made me feel like something eerie was coming. I went back to my room only to find the both of them not in here. I went to my closet opened it up to find my backpack there with all the supplies I needed.

Lucian: Good...everything's all here.

Out of nowhere I heard Hibari's voice.

Hibari: Got everything you needed?

I immediately jumped hearing her behind me all of a sudden.

Lucian: Waah!!!

Hibari: Ahahaha! You sure are jumpy this morning.

Lucian: No it's just that you spooked me...not once but twice.

Hibari: Sorry about that. Well anyways did you eat the breakfast?

Lucian: Not at the moment I went back here to check if all my stuff was good before leaving.

Hibari: Okay then just make sure to eat we'll be leaving in about an hour.

Lucian: All right then thank you.

Hibari: You're welcome.

She left my room but for some odd reason I felt a sense of relief when she left. I could only guess it was from this morning that strange glow in her eyes after we hit our heads must've caused something within me. Hopefully my light affinity will nullify the effects of whatever happened there. I went to the bathroom and did all that was required of me to do and headed to the dining area where there were plates out on the table, all having an egg sandwich with cheese, lettuce, tomato and a bit of mayonnaise. I found it strange that none of the other girls are here the only two I saw was Hibari and Ikaruga. After that Ikaruga disappeared and Hibari's the only one who popped up in my room...just Hibari. It was then I heard footsteps running and the door opened with a great force.

Katsuragi: Yo! What's for breakfast?!

I sighed in relief that Katsuragi is here.

Lucian: (Well thank goodness Katsuragi is here and not disappeared somewhere.)

Katsuragi: Oh hey breakfast.

She immediately took a seat and then the rest of the girls came in.

Lucian: (Okay they're all in here thank goodness it was honestly kinda scary being alone with Hibari...and that happy innocent expression on her face when we were alone in my room sent chills down my spine.)

Ikaruga: Lucian are you okay? Is your body temperature acting up again?

Lucian: No everything's fine with how things were I thought everyone left and I was the last one.

Asuka: Nah we were packaging up our supplies for the trip.

Yagyu: All of my stuff is ready so I won't have any problems later on.

In a cloud of smoke Kiriya-sensei appeared and gave us the rundown.

Kiriya: All right listen up everyone we'll be going to Hibari's hometown The Village Of Rabbits so I expect you to be on your best behavior there.

Lucian & Girls: Yes sensei!

Lucian: Speaking of which how will we get there? By train or..

Kiriya: We'll be going on bus, everything's been taken to account for your needs so with that being set is everyone ready? Actually one of you isn't ready Lucian get changed.

I looked at my clothing and he was right I was still in my pajamas.

Lucian: Oh whoops! Ehehehe.

After finishing my breakfast and putting on my clothes I grabbed my backpack and met with everyone outside as they all began to board the bus. The trip to Hibari's hometown was pretty uneventful aside from Katsuragi's usual antics when nighttime rolled around, I stared at the windows that is until I felt someone sitting next to me. I figured it was Ikaruga but as I turned around I saw Hibari. She said my name with a hint of glee in her voice that made me feel unsettled.

Hibari: Hi Lucian!

Lucian: Uh...hi Hibari what brings you here?

She looked nervously at the ground while pressing her index fingers together.

Hibari: I wanted to talk with you before we get there it's something urgent.

Lucian: Okay go ahead.

Hibari: W-well Lucian first things first...I...uh...I may have accidentally hit you with my Kagan ability.

Lucian: Kagan? Ability?

Hibari: Yes I think it may have happened when our eyes met in close proximity. I'm really sorry. Right now you might be feeling fear because of me sorry. It'll take awhile for the effects to go away but I assure I don't mean any harm in doing this to you. That visual technique...it just happens at random and I can't control it. I sincerely apologize for that.

Lucian: I see so your visual technique is what's messing with me. Okay so why'd ya enter my room?

Hibari: Well I wanted to wake you up but I slipped on your bedsheets and well that happened. I'm really sorry Lucian please forgive me! Also there's two things you should know one in my village there's a shrine maiden that can purify evil perhaps she can help in removing or purifying the yoma seal from you.

When I heard her say that my eyes went wide as I felt happy upon hearing the news.

Lucian: R-really?! She can remove it?!

Hibari: Yes however there's a certainty that you might...die.

Lucian: Wh-what?

Hibari: Remember you have the dark affinity as well who knows if it'll destroy you entirely if she purifies or removes the yoma seal after all you used both the yoma seal and the dark affinity simultaneously so...

Lucian: W-well in that case I'll take my chances and do it.

Hibari: But!

Lucian: If there is a chance she can remove it from me permanently then I'm glad that would be the case. Cause I won't have to fear the answer of what becomes of me in the future.

Hibari:...Right. There's also one last thing I want to tell you about but if I did that then you'd most likely hate me forever.

Lucian:...Judging by your tone of voice I can say those words weigh heavily. So question is are you brave enough to give me the truth? Or keep me in the dark?

Hibari: I...I

Should Hibari tell Lucian the truth about what happened back in the forest with the first encounter with Sylvia. Where Hibari was lying on being strangled to death forcing the girls to choose her over Lucian?
