Ghori's POV

I went back to the headmaster and reported what happened.

Sylvia: So did things go smoothly?

Ghori: Yes not a single one of them were killed except the blonde tried to force herself to keep fighting.

Sylvia: I see.

Ghori: So the Hebijo side how are they developing?

Sylvia: They are still new to the seal and most of them blame me for a useless power boost when clearly they're the ones who should know how activate it through their own hatred. Any moment of hesitation can result in them being downgraded. Anyways it's time for Dōgen to make his move he's had more than enough time to find the student who can open the seal of the Hebijo scroll. Hikaraya!

It was then Hikaraya appeared.

Hikaraya: Yes headmaster?

Sylvia: Your orders are to head to Hebijo and tell that pathetic excuse of a principal Dōgen that time is running short for him get to it.

Hikaraya: Understood!

He quickly vanished and I turned to Ghori.

Sylvia: Ghori start your four hour training regimen and after that have the rest of the day off.

Ghori: Understood.

I quickly went to the training field and began my regimen.

Meanwhile back at Hanzo Academy Lucian's POV

I continued to stare at Yagyu as she was telling me what happened to the anesthesia bottle that broke on the ground I knew she wasn't the clumsy type to make things fall I knew she wasn't Hibari and training Hibari on how to not trip on her own two feet when moving or attacking was a complete chore to do but she managed to overcome that now she's tripping less than what she normally did.

Lucian: I know you're not the clumsy type to stumble onto something like that. Plus even if you did stumble someone with your shinobi skills would've been able to catch it and seeing as how it is near Ikaruga's bed I could surmise two things one you were trying to help her in easing her pain or two you were trying to kill her or me. Which is it?

Yagyu: ! I...

Lucian: Just say it the truth.

The silence Yagyu was giving me felt more like she hasn't responded to me in hours even though five minutes have passed. I noticed that the glow from Ikaruga's pendant glowed a lot more than normal however Yagyu hasn't noticed it.

Lucian:...Let me try and guess since you aren't talking you were trying to kill me weren't you?

Looks like I was correct since her eye widened for a bit before looking stoic again.

She immediately turned to Ikaruga and went to her and placed the scalpel near her heart and summoned her ink kunais around her eyes and throat.

Lucian: ! No don't hurt her! If you want to kill anyone then take my life but spare hers! Ah!

I immediately realized what I said and I responded it so naturally like it was second nature but at the same time the seal on my chest began to react. I winced from the pain and saw that she was about to strike in those areas until I had an idea in my mind.

Lucian: What would Hibari think or say if she saw you like this?

She then stopped the scalpel just inches away from Ikaruga's heart.

Yagyu: !

Lucian: (Yes it worked she stopped now to lure her towards me.) How do you think Hibari will feel if she saw you like that?

Yagyu: She would be happy that I'm doing this for her...and after all of you are gone we'll be together forever.

Lucian: I don't think my pupil would be happy to see that.

Lucian: (Perfect now to avoid making her stab my arms.)

She rushed at me and try to swing the scalpel at me in which I dodged away from it she then summoned more ink kunais and aimed them at me and hurled them towards me. In which I ducked from there I looked back and saw the kunais pierce the wall and ice sprouted from it. I turned back and she came in front of me and kicked me making me fall down she then got on top of me she was breathing heavily with a look of insanity on her face.

Yagyu: It's over Lucian....It's time you pay with your life.

Lucian: No I'm not going to give up yet.

I placed my legs in front of Yagyu launching her away from me I quickly had to use my arms much to the backlash I received from the pain in order to stand up and I quickly kicked the side of her neck.

Yagyu: Ugh!

I kicked her head and it was taking a lot of work to help me balance myself without the use of my arms. I managed to kick her down to the ground in which her transformation wore off and all she had was the scalpel in her hand. I stepped on her arm which had the scalpel and looked at her she tried to punch but I used my right leg to kick her ribcage.

Yagyu: Ngh!

Lucian: Now do you give up?

Yagyu: No for Hibari's sake I won't lose.

I stepped on her arm a bit harder making her scream in pain.

Yagyu: Argh!

Lucian: Look at you, down on the ground you're not in the right state of mind Yagyu. You can't even deal with a handicapped opponent yeah I can't use my arms and I still managed to beat you.

Yagyu: Grr...I won't give up for Hiba-Aaagh!

I stepped on her arm harder in which she let go of the scalpel.

Lucian: If it was up to me I would've killed you without a moment's hesitation seeing as how you're an extreme threat to all of us.

Yagyu:...

Lucian: I'm not going to deal with this issue of yours I know someone who can and will try to help you question is will you let her?

Lucian:...I'm going to let you go now however any sort of attack happens and your life ends here. Do I make myself clear?

I took my foot off her arm, she quietly rose up and she stared at me however I could see something different in her eye it looked like she's calmed down. She continued to stare at me until she closed her eyes, she then took a deep breath and exhaled she continued to look at me until she finally exited out the door and closed it.

Lucian: Well that was weird. Hm?

I noticed that the pendant kept glowing and I walked over to Ikaruga. I felt that it kept calling out to me so with using my fingers I managed to climb my left arm to her bed despite the discomfort of pain following after. Much to my embarrassment I used my fingers to climb up her arm to reach where the pendant was and it was on top of her boobs. However when I touched a spot on her shoulder she moaned a little in which I reeled back but I reeled my arm back too fast in which I had to shut my mouth to not let out the agonizing scream that I was gonna let out.

Lucian: Mmmmmm! Holy dang! That hurt...okay now or never.

I began to climb up her arm using my fingers and I touched the spot on her shoulder in which she moaned a little and quickly made my way to the pendant which was on top of her breasts. I held the pendant in my palm and the pendant glowed brightly and gave off a radiating warmth.

Lucian: Forgive me for this Ikaruga but I need to know what this pendant is trying to do.

I placed my hand between her bosom and stared at the pendant. It was then the pendant began to shine brightly in which I closed my eyes. When I opened them I was in a house in which I'm unfamiliar with.

Lucian: Now where am I?

———Meanwhile Yagyu's POV

After being restrained by him I went back to my room and began to recollect my thoughts.

I was reminded of what he said back then.

Lucian: (I never made Hibari taste any type of fruit and besides she eats what she wants to eat and besides you say I've tainted her?! That's a lie all I did was train her not to mention the fact she came to me asking me to train her.)

Yagyu: That lying bastard there's no way she came to him...

After that more thoughts came and I began to get furious of what he said to me.

Lucian: (How do you think Hibari will feel if she saw you like that?)

Yagyu: (She would be happy that I'm doing this for her...and after all of you are gone we'll be together forever.)

Lucian: (I don't think my pupil would be happy to see that.)

I grit my teeth and clenched my fists in anger as I kept replaying in my mind the two words he said.

Yagyu: His...pupil....his...student....grrr....there's no way Hibari will be his student! I will protect her!

I then thought of what happened today with Hibari dealing with Ikaruga, and her first win against the enemy.

Yagyu: She's slowly slipping away from me...he's making her behave like this...all I have to do is kill him...no...everyone...and everything will be the same where it will be just us two Hibari and me...hehehe.

I then went to sleep having a sinister smile on my face.

When the pendant enveloped me in its light I closed my eyes and when I opened them I was in a house in which I'm unfamiliar with.

Lucian: Now where am I?

I continued to walk down further until I heard a familiar voice one that I remembered the voice but couldn't remember the name. I continued down the hallway and saw what looked to be a younger version of Ikaruga and she was with an older man further ahead I saw her brother from the shadows.

Lucian: If I remember correctly his name is Murasame I believe. He's Ikaruga's brother as for the adult male that's beside her I can assume he's her adoptive father.

Ikaruga's Father: Say hello to your brother Ikaruga.

Ikaruga:...Um hello.

Murasame: So tell me how much did my old man pay you?

Ikaruga: Huh?

Ikaruga's Father: Murasame that's enough out of you!

Murasame: Whatever it doesn't change the fact you've forsaken me father.

Lucian:...

The scenery then changed to Ikaruga and her father talking and her father had a sword in his hand.

Ikaruga's father: This sword Hien has been passed down from generation to generation of shinobi and with this sword I bequeath it to you my daughter. Make me proud.

Ikaruga: Yes father.

She took the sword from his hand and unsheathed it slowly.

Ikaruga: Hien...

I could sense a massive amount of negativity so I looked behind me and I saw Murasame in which he looked completely furious at Ikaruga for receiving the sword. I went towards Murasame only to phase right through him as he walked down the halls into his room and punched the wall in pure anger.

Murasame: How...dare she! Hien should've been mine! She isn't part of the family and yet she received it....grh...dammit! dammit! dammit!

He continued to punch the wall until he broke through it when he reeled his fist back his knuckles were bleeding.

Lucian: (Murasame you must really hate her a lot don't you? But she too has been suffering all she wanted was your recognition but instead of recognition you gave her pain all because your father put more attention on her.)

The scenery changed once more and I saw Murasame bullying Ikaruga.

Murasame: This sword is mine, it belongs to a blood relative not an outsider!

Ikaruga: G-give that back.

Murasame: I said it belongs to a blood relative you're just a nobody!

He then punched Ikaruga in the stomach causing her to fall on her knees all she could do was hold her stomach in her hands and cry.

Murasame: No one will accept you for who you are.

Ikaruga & Lucian: !

When he said that my head started to hurt and I continued to have flashbacks of all the times I was told that. I could feel my chest pulsate thanks to the yoma seal. I closed my eyes and clenched my fist despite knowing my arm was recovering I could feel myself growing furious as the memories kept coming.

Lucian: Ggh....stop....stop...stop....STOP!!!

When I opened them I saw nothing but the darkness the only thing I could see in the darkness was Ikaruga kneeling where she was crying a faint light descended upon her and I could make out the shape.

Ikaruga: Please *sob* make this nightmare go away. I don't want to experience this anymore. Please someone...anyone!

Lucian: Ikaruga.

I called out her name but she didn't hear me I called out her name but louder this time and still nothing. I then went over to her and I placed my left hand on her shoulder she stopped crying.

Ikaruga: Hm? Who are you?

Lucian: Ikaruga it's me Lucian don't you remember?

Ikaruga: Luc...ian...! Lucian!

She quickly stood up and jumped on me hugging me in her embrace.

Lucian: Woah! Easy there.

She then cried on my shoulder.

Ikaruga: Lucian thank goodness you're here *sob* I...I was so scared, the nightmares they just keep coming.

Lucian: Yeah I know...it's haunting...going through something like that over and over again Ikaruga don't move okay.

Ikaruga: What do you mean?

I used my fingers to climb up Ikaruga's arms but the pain felt too much.

Lucian: Tch! Damn it still hurts.

Ikaruga: Let me help.

She grabbed my arms gently and made my arms go around her back giving her an embrace.

We stayed in each other's embrace for awhile after that our bodies began to glow in a warm light in which it caused both of us to fall asleep. All that could be said next was that I heard birds chirping, and I felt a pleasant softness on my head. A big soft pillow that felt very comfortable so I nuzzled against it until I heard a soft moan and felt someone pat my head.

Lucian: !

Ikaruga: Um...Lucian.

I quickly got up and realized I just slept and nuzzled against Ikaruga's breasts my face turned a deep shade of red, while for Ikaruga's her face turned red as well from embarrassment.

Lucian: Um....s-s-s-sorry about that Ikaruga.

Ikaruga:...

Lucian: (Oh man I really botched it this time.) So um how are you feeling?

With the blush still visible on her face she held her arms out and I knew exactly what she wanted I went to her in which she hugged me.

I immediately held the right side of my chest because the seal reacted again and it felt like something was stabbing my chest with a knife.

Ikaruga: Lucian are you okay?!

Lucian: Yeah I'm fine don't worry this seal is just going crazy is all...hm? I just realized something.

I began to move my arms and flexed making Ikaruga giggle for a bit I stretched my arms until I heard some bones snap and now with my arms loosened up I felt great.

Lucian: All right! My arms they're back to normal! I can move them again! Haha yeah!

Ikaruga:...What caused your arms to be like that before?

Lucian: Well I got blasted by that skantily clad puppeteer's technique when I sacrificed myself for Hibari. Oh speaking of Hibari I need to tell her something.

I then heard footsteps running frantically and the door opened revealing the girls minus Yagyu.

Hibari: Lucian something's happened to Yagyu!

Lucian: (Aw man...this is gonna be painful to reveal...unless.) Okay all girls except Hibari make yourselves scarce, hide, do whatever it is so long as you aren't seen.

Ikaruga: Wait what's happening?

Lucian: Ikaruga pretend your asleep trust me what's gonna happen next may surprise you.

Girls: ?

Lucia: Just hurry and do as I say quick Hibari you're staying here with me.

Hibari: O-Okay...

Asuka: Okay then.

All the girls made themselves scarce while Hibari stayed behind me and from the hallways I heard a creepy voice belonging to Yagyu.

Yagyu: Hi...bari...please come here....I'll make sure you're safe...Hibari....

Hibari: Eep!

She quickly went behind me and shivered in fright so I spoke to Hibari and thanks to the door being open my voice is loud enough to be heard outside of the infirmary so Yagyu can hear. I spoke to Hibari loudly while my next message was to the other girls but I said it in a whisper.

Katsuragi: What is going on?

Lucian: I'll tell you later. Hibari let's go to to the roof....as for you girls keep hiding, Ikaruga pretend you're still asleep Hibari and I will deal with this. Hibari quick let's go to the roof while Yagyu is still behind.

Yagyu: ! (The roof...with my Hibari....Lucian...I'll make you regret ever being born!)

I quickly took Hibari's hand closed the door to the infirmary and ran with her all the way to the roof I had a plan in mind and with Yagyu rushing behind me I had to do this quick. I quickly closed the door to the roof and took a deep breath while I spoke to Hibari calmly.

Lucian: Hibari sit down and relax for a bit.

Hibari: L-L-Lucian what's going on?

Lucian: Take a deep breath and relax okay. Look into my eyes and just focus on me okay?

Hibari: O-O-Okay!

As she looked into my eyes I noticed her facial expression started to loosen up and she began to relax.

Lucian: Better?

Hibari: Better!

Lucian: All right have a seat.

She then sat down and I began to ask her a question.

Lucian: All right Hibari tell me what do you think about Yagyu?

Hibari: I think that she's really nice, however she's too overprotective and is very scary now while you're the same as her kind of but you let me do things that I want to do.

Lucian: So relationship wise do you like Yagyu?

Hibari: Mmhm I like her.

Lucian: But do you like Yagyu more than just a friend?

It was then Hibari looked at me and she took a deep breath before sighing before shaking her head.

Hibari: No...I just don't see her that way. I only see Yagyu as an older sister nothing more nothing less.

Lucian: (Oh boy that may have blown up Yagyu from the inside out. Since I told her to reveal what does she feel about Yagyu...and here comes the killing intent herself.) Sorry Hibari...Ggh! Stupid seal. I got distracted mind saying that again?

It was then the door burst open and it hurled itself towards me but I held my arms forward and pushed it back only for an umbrella to cut it in half with it's blades coming from it.

Yagyu: LUCIAN!...Hibari step away from him...I'm going to kill him and from there I can protect you from all the dangers this world offers.

Hibari: Why?....Why do you want to kill him?!

Yagyu: It's because he's confusing you with his words...he's making you become blind only with my protection I can save you. He can't save you from all the dangers in the world trust me Hibari come here and I'll make your nightmare go away...don't you see Hibari? He's tainting you...so please come over here and I'll protect you until the end of time.

Hibari: No! I want to do things the way I want to do it! I want to win by using my strength I defeated Haruka using my own strength, and with Lucian teaching me his technique I not only managed to save both of our lives but I managed to save all of your lives when Ikaruga went on a rampage. Why would you deny me that feeling of victory?

Lucian: (Ikaruga went on a rampage? Wait I think I remember her going on a rampage when I was near death when I was tortured by the Hebijo girls.) Hibari has a point why would you deny her of that feeling?

She removed her eyepatch and three tentacles came out of her right eye and tried to grab me by the neck but Hibari stood in front of me and used the technique that I showed her before.

Lucian: What in the?!

Hibari: Lightning Release: Shock Shield!

The tentacles made contact with the shield and it quickly went back inside Yagyu's eye.

Lucian: See how much stronger she's gotten? Why would you want to do something as stupid as hold her back? (And what in the world was that?!)

Yagyu: YOU BASTARD!

Lucian: Hibari leave this part to me.

Hibari: R-right!

She then rushed at me trying to kill me she closed her umbrella and removed the top part of it revealing a pointed tip and was trying to stab me with it.

Lucian: You know Yagyu I'm glad this turned out the way it is want to know why? Hibari pay close attention to my right palm.

Hibari: R-right!

Yagyu: RRRAAAAGGHHH!!!

She aimed the pointed tip at my neck I quickly stepped aside grabbed the umbrella and pulled her forward. I gathered lightning in my right hand and slammed my palm on her stomach causing her to spit out saliva and paralyze her in place.

Yagyu: Gah! Dam...mit.

She then collapsed on the ground and Hibari walked toward me.

Hibari: Is she gonna be okay?

Lucian: She's paralyzed but she'll be fine I didn't use enough force to kill her...even though I should've because she poses a threat to all of us Hibari the technique I used remember this the paralysis lasts until I feel like releasing the technique. So that's a new technique to learn...anyways Yagyu listen up you as well Hibari both of you are going to fight...Hibari this will be a test to see if you are truly ready to face the outside world and prove to Yagyu you can stand on your own two feet should you win I'll even throw in a couple of training sessions along the lines as well. Yagyu this is a test for you as well if you win against Hibari then you can protect her as much as you want and we won't get in your way however if you think so much as killing all of us I won't hesitate to knock you out and bring you in to Hanzo and see what he does with you.

Hibari: That seal...and yeah you're right it was bound to happen sooner or later. I wanted to get stronger so that I won't feel like a burden so I went to you and you helped me become stronger than I ever was and you showed me something else as well.

Lucian: That would be what exactly?

I lifted Yagyu and placed her on my right shoulder as I carried her Hibari followed behind.

Tears began streaming from my eyes, and the pain of being reminded all of those harsh words stung and I'm starting to remember the words that were in my dream when I was in that place.

I could feel the seal acting up I can hear voices in my head telling me to kill but I chose not to because I don't want to be reminded of what I did back in the forest when I killed those three shinobi.

I ignored her and kept talking to myself something I've gotten used to since I was always alone when I was little when my parents weren't around.

Yagyu was then dropped down the flight of stairs and I went back up to the roof all that could be heard was Yagyu's painful grunts when she fell down the flight.

Lucian: I should end it here...my life...as a shinobi comes to a close...

I kept walking to the edge of the roof as I kept walking I began to remember all the times I had with the girls including my new friends. I began to remember meeting the girls from Hanzo, training with Ikaruga and Hibari, meeting my kittens, dealing with Katsuragi's antics, my meeting with Airi, Merola, Ghori, and Hikaraya I stopped in place and kept crying as all these memories kept coming back.

Lucian:....*sob,hic* I can't go...through with it. Like I said weak...as always.

Katsuragi: Lucian! I found you...whoa...what happened to you?!

I looked behind me and saw Katsuragi there.

Katsuragi: Are you okay?

Lucian: *sniffle* Aside from me from trying to end my life...then I'm here depressed crying my eyes out. *sniffle*

She then came to me and did something I never expected her to do she held me close and hugged me.

Katsuragi: It's okay all of us are here and we're here for you. Lucian we're your friends you can tell us anything so there's no need to cry okay?

I never thought that Katsuragi would have another side to her in which she's caring and not being a total pervert to the girls or myself so I leaned on her a little more and Katsuragi held me a bit tighter.

Lucian:...K-Katsuragi...thank you.

I felt the seal acting up in my chest however it didn't hurt as much strangely enough.

Lucian: (This seal...does it weaken with affection?)

She then let me go and brushed away my tears.

Katsuragi: There did that help?

I responded weakly but I was grateful she did that.

Lucian: Yeah...thanks.

Katsuragi: Now back to the business at hand. Why is Yagyu knocked out on the ground? And why did you try to kill yourself?

I looked away from her and began to clench my fists.

Lucian: It's the things that she said to me...it brought back all sorts of painful memories...and I couldn't handle it anymore.

Katsuragi: Lucian...

Lucian: Y-Yes?

She then hugged me again and lightly punched me on the head.

Lucian Ow.

Katsuragi: You dummy...you shouldn't do such a thing if you would've done that...then Hanzo Academy wouldn't be the same without you. So please...please...

I noticed that Katsuragi began to shake lightly and gripped my shoulders a bit tight I looked up at her to meet her eyes and noticed that her turned into a frown and her eyes began to water looking like she was about to cry.

Katsuragi: Don't kill yourself...please! Lucian you have friends, so much to live for...so why do you have to do such a stupid thing like suicide? Don't let Yagyu's words get the better of you...I know you're much stronger than that.

I then told her the truth of what my state of being was.

Lucian: No I'm not...physically yes I am strong, but emotional and mental stability-wise I'm weak. Katsuragi you must know that within my mind there are places I nor anyone else can reach me. Sometimes I feel like I barely know myself my memories I don't remember much from my childhood I remember some parts of my elementary school days most in which I have locked it away but it keeps coming back nightmare after nightmare no matter how far I run...I will always be haunted by my past.

Katsuragi: Well let go of those bad memories.

Lucian: Easier said than done. Believe me I tried but it keeps lurking in my mind waiting to strike.

She then pointed a finger at me and declared this to me.

Katsuragi:...Well Lucian! I have an idea I'll be your therapist!

Lucian: I believe there's a space between the e and r in therapist if it involves you.

She then staggered a bit as if I shot her with an arrow through her heart.

Katsuragi: Gah! Hey I'm at least trying to help you so don't look at it that way...look as much as I love groping I do have a caring side...unless...ohoho I see you want Ikaruga to be your therapist.

When she said that I blushed a little.

Lucian: N-No well...I mean yes but...Gah!

Katsuragi: Ahahaha oh man you should see the look on your face.

Lucian: Rgh.

Katsuragi: Well all jokes aside the main point is if you want to talk then just tell us what's giving ya problems and we'll be sure to help you okay well except Yagyu but she'll come around...eventually?

I smiled a little knowing now that Katsuragi is doing all of this to cheer me up. I then walked in front of Katsuragi and looked back smiling before I went back to being serious.

Lucian: Thanks for that...now it's time for this test to begin.

Katsuragi: Test?

Lucian: Hibari will fight against Yagyu, it's time for Hibari to start growing up she already proved herself twice by beating that thot puppeteer, and saving all of us from Ikaruga when she went berserk.

Katsuragi: She's come a long way thanks to you teaching her.

Lucian: That she has...now let's get going. Also Katsuragi...

Katsuragi: Yes?

Lucian: About what happened earlier I'll leave the decision to you if you want to tell the girls or not.

Katsuragi:.,,,All right then

We went downstairs and noticed Yayu on the ground unconscious at the end of the stairs where I dropped her. I thought back to what she said before.

Lucian:...

I was then snapped out of my thoughts by Katsuragi almost as if she read my mind.

I picked her up like I did before and went to straight to Hanzo and Kiriya-sensei. Once I got there I placed Yagyu on the ground and knocked on Hanzo's door.

Lucian: Hanzo are you there? I need to speak with you.

It was then the door opened and Hanzo greeted me.

Hanzo: Hello Lucian what brings you here?

Lucian: Well I need Kiriya-sensei in here as well.

Hanzo: I see and for what would that be?

Lucian: I'll explain once Kiriya's here.

Hanzo: Very well.

He made a handsign and Kiriya instantly appeared.

Kiriya: You called for me Master Hanzo?

I was amazed at how fast Kiriya showed up when Hanzo made that handsign I couldn't help but ask what technique is that?

Lucian: What technique was that?

Hanzo: It's a communication technique in which it uses telepathy. Contact another shinobi with your mind and they will be informed of what is happening. The technique Kiriya used is the Body Flicker technique a teleportation technique that allows for instant travel at a short distance.

Lucian: Cool hey do you mind teaching me those techniques?

Hanzo: Not at all now you wanted to see Kiriya and me so what's going on?

Lucian: Kiriya-sensei remember how Hibari fought?

Kiriya: Yes I do remember she doesn't have a form of fighting and Yagyu kept encouraging her while she made the same mistakes.

Lucian: Right well Hibari has proven herself to become genuinely strong-ow...she beat one of the Hebijo girls and Ikaruga when she went berserk. However there is one last person she needs to prove that she's ready to face the dangers of being a shinobi and said person is right outside the office.

Lucian: Affirmative.

Kiriya: *sigh* It was bound to happen sooner or later with the way Hibari was staring at you.

Kiriya: Ever since we fought Hibari was paying close attention to your fighting form and she tried to copy it when she was practicing with me however she could never get it right because she kept tripping on her two feet.

Lucian: Well I've been training her just recently and so far she's gotten better...Ggk stupid seal.

Hanzo: Is the seal acting up again?

Lucian: Yeah and it gets painful when I say something nice about the girls here, however there's a slight flaw in it.

Kiriya: How so?

Lucian: The seal weakens with affection making the pain become a lot more tolerable.

Kiriya: I see but how do you kn-

Hanzo: Pardon me Kiriya but let's discuss the bigger subject at hand. You said that you wanted Hibari to prove herself to Yagyu?

Lucian: Yes and when she finally beats her it'll snap Yagyu out of her habit of protecting her every single time. It will make her see that Hibari doesn't need to be protected anymore.

Kiriya: But can you verify that Hibari is strong enough to beat Yagyu she's a prodigy.

Lucian: Well take the title prodigy and throw it out the window because she hasn't shown anything that exemplifies the word prodigy. Yagyu is a rookie and this is me being generous because if it was in my terms of ranking it would be catastrophic.

Hanzo: I see so what about Hibari in your terms of ranking?

Lucian: Developing genin she's starting out fine. So Kiriya-sensei, Hanzo please let this test happen!

It was then I heard a groan outside the office and I could tell Yagyu was up.

Yagyu: Ungh...Where am I?

Lucian: Looks like she's awake.

Yagyu: Grr...where are you Lucian? You bastard!

It was then Kiriya-sensei stepped out and Yagyu saw him and in fear she composed herself.

Kiriya: What's wrong Yagyu?

Yagyu: Nothing's wrong I just need to find Lucian and "talk" to him.

Kiriya: Right anyways you and Hibari are going to fight. This will be a test to see if our judgements are true on you two.

Yagyu: Judgements?

I then stepped out and the minute Yagyu saw me immediately she glared at me. That glare no matter how hard I try to forget it will always be a haunting reminder of my past no matter how hard I wish to erase it.

Lucian:...

Hanzo: Well then it's decided Yagyu will fight Hibari.

Yagyu: What?!

Kiriya: It's a test to see if Hibari is ready to break out of her shell, along with you Yagyu.

She then sucked her teeth and looked away from us.

Yagyu: Tch. (Damn you Lucian! I should kill you where you stand but...grr this paralysis isn't letting me go anytime soon.)

Kiriya: Now let's go to the gym.

Lucian: We'll be following shortly go on ahead.

Hanzo: Very well but Lucian may I tell you something?

Lucian: Sure

Hanzo: Step back into my office Kiriya mind taking Yagyu to the gym?

Kiriya: Understood!

I immediately released the technique and Kiriya took Yagyu to the gym and I turned back to meet with Hanzo.

Lucian: What did you want to talk about?

Hanzo: I'm starting to worry about you...today you almost committed suicide and yes I know what you're doing with Ikaruga and Hibari but those aren't the only girls you have to train you know. Thanks to Katsuragi she snapped you out of that depressive state.

Lucian: Yeah...I know.

Hanzo: Lucian I may not know what happened to you in the past but don't let that pain control you.

I gave a sad smile and my response to what he said was melancholic.

Lucian: I'm sorry Hanzo but...back then I used to have nightmares of my past...the words kept replaying and now with the seal placed on me the nightmares become a lot more vivid I could feel everything as if I'm awake. It's...horrifying when Yagyu said those words...the seal acted up reminding me of the pain I went through in the past...and I could hear voices in my head telling me to kill those who I hate.

Hanzo: I see. (Amnael's dark influence and the yoma seal a deadly combination it's breaking down his mind...I'll have to ask Ikaruga to remedy that so he won't go insane.) Well then just know that you have friends you can talk to don't keep it all bottled in because if you do believe the result will be catastrophic.

Lucian:...All right then.

Hanzo: Good now let's go to the gym and see the test unfold.

We went downstairs and immediately I saw the girls minus Yagyu looking at me with pity. I responded meekly to their pitying stares

Lucian: Hey...

It was then all the girls minus Yagyu came and hugged me individually. I could sense Yagyu's killing intent when Hibari hugged me.

Asuka: Lucian...please don't take away your life.

Ikaruga: You idiot didn't you tell me that you'd always be there for me before?

Hibari: Please don't kill yourself Lucian. I want you to be happy.

Katsuragi: See Lucian you have friends here so don't let grouchy over there tell you otherwise.

I took a deep breath and gave a small smile and with the girls group hug I could barely feel the pain of the yoma seal.

Lucian: Thanks you girls...that means a lot.

Kiriya: Hibari, Yagyu get into your positions! This will be a test to see if the judgements are true now commence!

Lucian: This is it.

Hibari POV

I got into my fighting position and Yagyu just looked at me with pity in her eye.

Yagyu: Why Hibari? Why must we fight?

Hibari: It's a test and one that I want to pass I want to show you...no everyone how much I've grown! I don't want to be locked in your cage anymore Yagyu. I want to grow and surpass my limits.

Lucian: (Heh...well said.)

Yagyu: Hibari...I can see how far you've fallen...you've let Lucian taint you....but don't worry once I win everything will be back to normal.

I could feel shivers down my spine when she said that.

Hibari: You're just like her...the puppeteer.

Lucian: ? Oh snap she's right! Both you and that thot are obsessed with Hibari.

Ikaruga and the rest of the girls looked at me like I grew a second head however Ikaruga reacted to my comment in shock.

Ikaruga: Lucian?!

Lucian: What stating the truth is all I'm doing. Besides you should see her outfit it leaves little to the imagination. Anyways Hibari remember your training and win this fight.

Katsuragi: Wait you've been training Hibari?!

Lucian: Yes.

Katsuragi: And you haven't trained me yet?!

Lucian: Well you never asked so that's on you now let's go back to the fight at hand. (Hibari it's all up to you...prove your strength.)

Hibari: Shinobi Transformation!

I went into my Shinobi Transformation and charged at Yagyu in which she stood still. I reeled my fist back and began to punch her but she tripped me and placed her foot on my back.

Hibari: Woah!

Yagyu: See Hibari with my protection can you be safe.

Hibari: Lightning Release: Spark Barrier!

I used Lucian's technique to make Yagyu get her foot off me and I backflipped myself back into position and charged at her again. Yagyu was still recovering from the shock so I punched her arms, kicked her legs, and punched her stomach repeatedly despite my punches and kicks being weak however I knew what I was doing since I concealed the lightning in my fists and feet making my hits have a paralysis effect in which Yagyu began to slow down. It was then Yagyu stood still and I pushed her down marking my first win on Yagyu.

Kiriya: Hibari wins. Congratulations.

Hibari: I did it....I can't believe it...I WON!

Katsuragi: Woah that's a surprising turn of events.

Asuka: Incredible Lucian you've taught her well.

Ikaruga: Congratulations Hibari you did extremely well and Lucian great job training her.

Lucian: Thanks...also Hibari.

Hibari: Yes?

Lucian: I'm proud of you. Ggh! Stupid seal again! (Now with Hibari's victory hopefully this will snap Yagyu out of her trance of protecting Hibari because this was getting annoying.)

Girls:....

Hanzo: (That seal isn't giving up anytime soon, there has to be some sort of scroll or technique to permanently remove it.)

Yagyu's POV

Yagyu: (I can't believe it...I lost to Hibari...you've changed a lot...I lost you, you're forever gone...I can't see the old Hibari anymore...my sweet innocent Hibari that I will always protect...now in front of me stands a new you...grr...Lucian you bastard...I now know which areas I can attack you in mentally and once I finished breaking down your mind this nightmare will finally be over.)

Kiriya: Yagyu it seems the judgements are true Hibari is ready to face the dangers of the outside world while for you, you try to protect her from everything restricting her so that she can't experience anything. You need to break that habit period. Do you understand?!

Yagyu:...Yes sensei.

I felt the paralysis leave my body and I stood up quietly I made Hibari's congratulations sound believable but my true goal is to kill Lucian.

Yagyu:...Congratulations Hibari.

Hibari: Thank you...now you know what you're supposed to do.

It pained me to say it but I had to make it sound believable.

Yagyu: Yes I won't protect you anymore.

She then said something that made me furious but I had to control my emotions.

Hibari: Great. Now Lucian can you teach me more lightning techniques then?

After that we attended our classes with Kiriya-sensei, after our studies were done we then had dinner. I began to think of ways to eliminate Lucian while time has passed and found a solution I would lure Lucian onto the rooftop with a note that was left behind by "Ikaruga" and then kill him there, pin the blame on the Hebijo girls and I wouldn't get caught doing the murder. I saw my opportunity during dinner where I excused myself and went to the bathroom.

Yagyu: (Now is the time to set up the trap.)

I stepped out of the bathroom rushed to my room to grab a pen and paper, I then went to Ikaruga's room and made sure to copy her handwriting and from there I went to Lucian's room and left the note on his desk.

Yagyu: (Now with this marks the end of your life bastard.)

Lucian's POV

After that test was done we went about our daily activities going to class, eat lunch a few more lectures, and finally dinner. After dinner I went to the bathroom and brush my teeth and began to stretch my arms and legs to get myself more relaxed for tonight's training.

Lucian: Well time to go to the rooftop to train some more.

I went to the roof to train however I didn't anticipate to see her as she was standing with her arms crossed. staring directly at me.

Lucian: Yagyu.

Yagyu:...Bastard.

We stared each other down and if looks could kill we both would've been dead on the spot. I wanted answers as to why she hates me so much? Most I understand but I feel like there's something more to it than just that.

Lucian: Why is it that you hate me so much? I know you hate me for what I did to Hibari in making her become confident in herself but I feel like there's something more to it than that.

What she said next I couldn't make out because she whispered it.

Yagyu: Go home...you useless idiot.

Lucian: If you got something to say then say it otherwise leave I'll be needing this spot for tonight.

It was then she began to talk a bit more loudly.

Yagyu: No...go home you useless idiot and never return. Things were fine with the way they were until you showed up...if only you weren't here things would have remained the same all of us would be carrying out our duties while you would've been a weak, pathetic excuse of a regular student. You aren't strong, you're downright pathetic just like always. When will you ever quit on being such a weak child, and grow up.

I remembered what Katsuragi said about not letting Yagyu's words get to me but her words felt like blades piercing every part in my heart. I began to shiver in fright because of those haunting days I couldn't even clench my fist it was then I began to hear a voices in my head most of were from my past it kept replaying itself over and over again.

Lucian: ! (Katsuragi...I'm sorry but...she's right...I'm weak, pathetic her words...it cuts deep into my heart...any minute I feel like I could die right now.)

I began to clutch my head and fall to my knees looking at the ground, tears flowing down my eyes, my heartbeat accelerated quickly. I didn't notice Yagyu was approaching me in her shinobi transformation and summoned ink kunais to pierce my body. I looked up at the last second and saw her eyepatch was removed and I could feel something cold and slimy wrap itself around my neck and saw it was a tentacle it was getting hard to breathe I struggled with all my might but I couldn't muster any strength. I felt that all of my strength had left me in that one moment I felt like I going to die.

Lucian: Gah....augh!....(Stop....make the voices stop....it's getting hard to breathe...am I...going to die for real?)

I could barely breathe since the tentacles was slowly binding my neck until she let go and let the ink kunais pierce me completely. I felt the ink kunais pierce my body and I coughed out blood my last moments all I could think about was pain, sadness and hatred.

Lucian: Nngh, guh!  (I should've never been born...then maybe none of this would've ever happened.)

I collapsed on the ground as my blood began to spill on the ground. I could feel my mind replaying the insults of what Yagyu said.

Yagyu: (No...go home you useless idiot and never return. You despise them don't you everyone who's shunned you, treated you like an outcast you want to see them suffer for what they've done to you to be able to inflict countless amounts of pain into them and make them watch as they descend towards despair. Don't you want that?)

As I tried to respond I felt like something came over me and took control I could feel the seal react intensly an overwhelming amount of negativity came rushing in all at once I felt like I was about to drown in nothing but pure insanity.

Lucian: (No...it....Ggh! My mind! What's happening to it?! These negative emotions...I can't...control...it anymore....I want to...no! Kill! Kill! KILL!)

Yagyu's POV

Seeing as how Lucian was lying dead in a pool of his own blood I decided to walk away however when I got to the door it began to get really cold all of a sudden.

Yagyu: Brr...where's this cold coming from?

It was then I heard Lucian's voice behind me but this time his his voice had a much deeper tone than his regular voice and his laugh sounded really horrifying.

Lucian: Hehehehe Look behind you.

I turned around and saw Lucian on his knees his head face down that way I can't see his facial expression however I saw the yoma seal on his chest glowing an ominous blue hue. I could only stare in shock as he was somehow able to move despite me piercing his body with the ink kunais.

Yagyu: How are you...still moving?

He began to whisper a word however it was impossible to hear since the wind kept roaring until he finally shouted it out loud.

Lucian: Kill, kill, kill, kill, ki...ll, KILL!

It was then the wind began to get fierce as I try to cover my face with my arm trying to see.

Yagyu: What an annoying pest.

However he slowly began to get up and began to show his face I then knew immediately that he was something else. His eye color turned blue, his body was covered in a snow-like mist. He looked at me menacingly and he began to speak.

Lucian: Yagyu...today I hope you're ready to die. Also we don't want any interference so...

He snapped his fingers and I heard something behind me so I turned around to see the door leading downstairs was encased in ice.

Yagyu: An Ice affinity?!

Lucian: Now we can have each other's time in our hands. So I hope you're ready tonight it begins...YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE! Shinobi Barrier!

He made a barrier surrounding us and it was there my eyes saw someone who I never thought I'd see again.

Yagyu: No...it's impossible...how are you here?...Sis...ter.
