*Y/N's point of view*

Hi, I'm a ninja, and a good ninja too. I became a good ninja because I want to protect everyone, as opposed to hurting people like evil ninjas do.

I recently joined a school called Hanzo Academy, and attended it's ninja classes. I've met some of my good friends there, but there was always two girls that really stood out. Their names were Yagyu, and Hibari. Those two are always together, at first I thought they were sisters. Yagyu is really protective over Hibari, so whenever I try to protect Hibari, Yagyu usually beats me to it.

I've always admired Yagyu's protectiveness towards Hibari, but she can take it too far sometimes, and since I'm a boy, she completely knocks me away from Hibari. I don't understand why she would do something that far, when I was only going to say hello to Hibari.

*I start approaching Hibari*

Hibari:"Hi, Y/N."

Y/N:"Hey Hibari-"

*Yagyu appears out of nowhere and kicks me in the face*

Y/N:"Ugh!"

*I fall to the ground, and they walk off*

I don't get it! Why is she like this?! It's unfair, selfish, and despicable! Ugh...I really wish she would just give me a reason why she does that.

*One day later, I head into the ninja classroom, with a bandage on my cheek*

Y/N:"Ugh...why that...stuck up..."

Y/N(mind):She gave me a god damn broken jaw! I'm gonna talk to her after school about this.

*Later in the day, I approach Yagyu, who is having lunch with Hibari*

Y/N:"Hey, Yagyu, Hibari."

Hibari:"Hi, Y/N!"

Yagyu:"..."

Hibari:"Are you ok? Sorry about Yagyu hitting you yesterday."

Y/N:"O-Oh, it's fine. I just came here to talk with Yagyu about it. Why did you hit me?"

Yagyu:"...You got too close."

Y/N:"?...Really? 'Too close'?"

Yagyu:"Yes, you got too close to Hibari, so I had to take action."

Y/N:"Ugh...I don't think you 'had' to."

Hibari:"I'm so sorry, Y/N. Please don't get mad at Yagyu."

Yagyu:"Let him get mad, Hibari. I don't care."

Y/N:"I'm not mad, just confused now."

*Class ends and I start heading back home*

Y/N:"Ugh..."

Y/N(mind):She really needs to give Hibari some space.

*I hear a scream coming towards the school*

Y/N:"?"

*I start running back to the school, and I see Hibari getting attacked by a evil ninja, Yagyu is trying to protect her*

Y/N:"Hibari! Yagyu! Are you two ok?"

Hibari:"I-I'm fine."

Yagyu:"Hah...hah...get out of here, Y/N! This isn't your fight."

Y/N:"It may not be, but I'll make it my fight."

*I spawn my weapons and attack the evil ninja*

Evil ninja:"Ugh! What the?"

Y/N:"Hah!"

*I jump up, and try to attack the evil ninja, but she dodges all of my attacks*

Yagyu:"Y/N! Get out, I can handle her!"

Y/N:"Yeah? You can't take her alone."

Hibari:"H-He's right, Yagyu...I'm sorry I can't be of any use."

Yagyu:"You're fine, Hibari. Erg..."

*Yagyu gives me a death stare, and the evil ninja uses the distraction as a chance to try and attack Yagyu*

Yagyu:"!"

Y/N:"Ah! Yagyu!"

*I rush towards Yagyu, and push her out of the way, the evil ninja attacks, and scratches my right arm*

Yagyu:*Gasps*

Hibari:"Y/N!"

Y/N:"Ugh!"

*My arm starts bleeding, as I try to put pressure on it, and stand back up*

Y/N:"Ugh! Hah...hah..."

Y/N(mind):Damn it...I thought I could dodge it in time. I can't...move. Ugh!

*I fall to the ground*

Yagyu:"Y/N..."

Hibari:"Yagyu! Watch out!"

*The evil ninja rushes towards Yagyu again, and she blocks her attacks, and Yagyu manages to fight her off, making the evil ninja retreat*

Yagyu:"Hah...hah...Y/N?"

Hibari:"Y/N!"

Y/N:"Hah...I-I'm fine, just stings a little."

Yagyu:"Here."

Y/N:"?"

*Yagyu hands me a bandage, and wraps it around my wound*

Y/N:"T-Thanks."

Yagyu:"W-Well, you saved me, so...I had to help you out."

*Yagyu's faces blushes a little*

Y/N."Ehehehe...alright, I get it."

Y/N(mind):It's strange how she suddenly isn't violent towards me, but I don't have the right to complain.

*We head off campus, and start heading to the dorms*

Hibari:"Thank you again, Y/N."

Y/N:"No problem, Hibari."

Yagyu:"Hey, Y/N? Why did you try to help me? I was able to handle her on my own, and you only got yourself hurt."

Y/N:"?...Huh...well, I guess it's because that ninja got too close."

Yagyu:"Ugh...heh..."

Y/N:"?"

Yagyu:"...Thanks, Y/N."

*Yagyu smiles at me, making my face blush*

Y/N:"N-No problem. A-Anytime, Yagyu."

*I look over at Hibari, and she gives me a smile*

Hibari:"Hehe, alright. Bye, Y/N!"

*Hibari grabs Yagyu's hand, and drags her towards the dorm, while I head back to my dorm*

*Yagyu's point of view*

I can't believe Y/N took a hit for me, that...idiot. He was the one that got himself hurt, but he was trying to save me...not Hibari, me.

*Me and Hibari head back to our dorm, and we head to bed*

Yagyu(mind):Y/N...

Hibari:"?...Yagyu, are you ok?"

Yagyu:"?...Y-Yeah, I'm fine."

Hibari:"That was really nice of Y/N, but you didn't really say thank you to him."

Yagyu:"W-Well...I fixed his wounds."

Hibari:"Hmm...yeah, you did...but you could've at least said 'thank you, Y/N!'"

Yagyu:"...Alright, Hibari. I'll thank him tomorrow."

Hibari:"Ok!"

*The next day, I walk with Hibari to school, and I see Y/N at the school gate*

Yagyu(mind):What's he doing here?!

Y/N:"Oh, hey! Over here. Yagyu, Hibari."

Hibari:"Coming, Y/N."

*Hibari grabs onto my arm, and we start running towards Y/N*

Yagyu:"Whoa!"

Hibari:"Here we are, Y/N."

Y/N:"Great, I just wanted to see if you two were ok, because of yesterday."

Hibari:"Yep, we're just fine, thanks!"

Y/N:"That's great to hear."

*Hibari stares towards Yagyu*

Yagyu:"!...Ugh...t-thank you, Y/N."

Y/N:"?...O-Oh, yeah. No problem, Yagyu."

Hibari:"Yay! Yagyu said it!"

Y/N:"What?"

Yagyu:"H-Hibari?!"

Hibari:"Come on, let's get to class!"

Y/N, and Yagyu:"A-Alright."

Yagyu(mind):What just happened?!

*They head to class*

*Y/N's point of view*

Y/N(mind):What just happened?! Yagyu thanked me, and then Hibari rushes us to class?! Usually it's the other way around.

*I approach Yagyu during lunch*

Y/N(mind):I should ask her what that was all about.

Y/N:"Hey, can you meet me after school?"

Yagyu:"!...W-What?!"

*Yagyu's faces suddenly blushes*

Y/N:"Relax, I just wanted to ask you a question."

Yagyu:"W-Why can't you just tell me now?"

Y/N:"Because...Hibari will hear me."

Yagyu:"!"

*Yagyu's face starts blushing again*

Yagyu:"W-Why don't you want to ask Hibari?"

Y/N:"I think she would do something weird."

*Yagyu's face blushes even more*

Yagyu:"W-Why not ask us both? Y-You can just ask us both."

Y/N:"Why are you freaking out about this?"

Yagyu:"N-Nothing, s-so you want to meet after school?"

Y/N:"Yeah, that's what I said."

Yagyu:"O-Ok then, see you then."

*After school, I leave with Yagyu and Hibari*

Y/N:"Hey, Hibari? Can you give me and Yagyu a minute, please?"

Yagyu:"!"

Hibari:"?...Uh...ok, sure."

*Hibari heads off campus, and it's just me and Yagyu left*

Y/N(mind):Wow...I didn't expect us to be alone. I guess it is getting late.

Y/N:"Ok, I'll make this quick so that we don't waste to much time-"

Yagyu:"Y-Y/N..." *Inhales* *Exhales* "I-It's ok. I-If it's you, then I'll be fine with falling in love with someone either than Hibari."

*Yagyu's face blushes as she looks away from me*

Y/N:"?...Boyfriend?"

Yagyu:"?...W-Wait, wasn't this a confession?"

Y/N:"!...A-A confession?!"

*My face starts blushing*

Yagyu:"Y-Y/N?"

Y/N(mind):Crap! She really did think this was a confession! She just said she loves me! How the hell am I supposed to respond to that?!

Y/N:"Uh..."

Yagyu:"...J-Jeez, you're so clueless."

Y/N:"?"

Yagyu:"I-I just said I love you, was that not good enough?"

Y/N:"N-No, I didn't say that, I-I just..."

Yagyu:"?"

Y/N(mind):Should I say I love her too? Well, I do, I really do, but this isn't really the way I wanted to say it.

Y/N:"I-I love you too, Yagyu."

Yagyu:"!...Y/N..."

*Yagyu hugs me, and pulls my face towards hers until our lips make contact*

Y/N:"!"

*Yagyu pulls back*

Yagyu:"There, that confirms it."

Y/N:"?...Confirms what?"

Yagyu:"Your love to me, what else?"

Y/N:"Oh, right."

*I suddenly hear clapping behind us*

Y/N, and Yagyu:"H-Hibari?!"

Hibari:"Woo! I'm so proud of you, Yagyu! I'm so glad it turned out perfectly!"

Y/N:"H-How long were you standing there?"

Hibari:"The whole time."

Yagyu:"T-The whole time?!"

Hibari:"Hehe, don't worry, Yagyu. You have to make Y/N your number one from now on."

Y/N:"Hibari..."

Yagyu:"...Thank you, Hibari."

*Yagyu wraps her arm around mine*

Yagyu:"From now on, Y/N is now my boyfriend."

Y/N:"U-Uh...y-yay?"

Y/N(mind):I will never understand this day, will I?

And that was how I became Yagyu's favorite person.
