*Murasaki's point of view*

I may be a ninja, but I very much prefer to be an shut-in, That's my motto. I'm not good when it come to talking to people at all, but there's only one guy that I know. His name is Y/N, and he is a guy I met while playing an MMORPG. He has been surprisingly very friendly to me, and we were both very good at the game, so we teamed up, and became a pretty good duo.

*Murasaki is playing with Y/N*

Y/N(online):"Hey Murasaki, can I get a healing item? I'm very low on health over here."

He always had a mic so that we can communicate perfectly, but since I'm too scared to talk to him, I don't use a mic. The reason why I don't use a mic is because I'm so scared that I might say something wrong, and he'll end up hating me. We've been online buddies for so long, we even added each other on a messaging platform. Tomorrow is something I've been waiting for and is the only thing I'm willing to go outside for, it's an event where I can find and buy new RPG games that were originally sold out. Y/N hasn't been online for a few days, and I'm wondering if he ended up abandoning me.

*I'm sitting in my room, legs to my chest, holding my stuffed bear, Bebeby, in my arms, as I rock back and forth*

Murasaki:"Ugh..."

*I hear a knock on my door*

Murasaki:"W-Who is it?"

*My older sister Imu enters my room*

Imu:"Hey sis."

Murasaki:"H-Hey, what do you want?"

Imu:"Well, I was thinking. And I wanted to ask if you want to go to that big event you've always been talking about with me?"

Murasaki:"?...R-Really?"

Imu:"Yep, I plan to get you out and bring you there."

Murasaki:"..."

Imu:"Come on, Murasaki."

Murasaki:"...F-Fine, I'll go."

Imu:"Alright, come on."

Murasaki:"W-We're going right now?!"

Imu:"Of course."

Murasaki:"Ugh..."

Imu:"...You can bring Bebeby along."

Murasaki:"!...Really?! You hear that, Bebeby?"

*I look at Bebeby, and hug him*

Murasaki:"You're coming with us!"

Imu:"Alright, I'll give you a few minutes to get ready."

Murasaki:"O-Ok."

*Imu leaves my room, as I get ready to go to the event*

Murasaki(mind):Hopefully Y/N will be there!

*I leave my room, and go outside with Imu*

Murasaki:"Ugh! It's so bright..."

Imu:"Don't you usually wear a cover or something?"

Murasaki:"Ugh...I already wanna go back home."

Imu:"Nope, You're not getting out of this one easily."

Murasaki:"Hmph..."

*We make it to the event, and I freak out by the number of people here*

Murasaki:"I'm going home..."

Imu:"Murasaki!"

Murasaki:"Erg..."

Imu:"Come on, let's have fun."

Murasaki:"F-Fine..."

*Imu and I walk through the event, freaking out every minute*

*Y/N's point of view*

I've been waiting for this event for so long, I have one goal in my mind, and that is to find out who Murasaki is. She's obviously a diehard fan of our favorite game, so there's no way she's not gonna go to this event! Now I just need to find out who she is.

*I walk around the event, and try to find Murasaki*

Y/N(mind):Who could she be?

*I see a girl with long black hair wearing cat ears and some kind of maid costume*

Y/N(mind):Hey, that looks like Murasaki's avatar in the game, that's got to be her!

Y/N:"Excuse me?"

*The girl is notices me*

???:"Yes? What do you want?"

Y/N:"Uh...I was wondering, is your name Murasaki, by any chance?"

???:"What?! No, I'm not Murasaki, names Mirai. Get it right, kid!"

Y/N:"Kid? But I look older than you."

Mirai:"Erg..."

Y/N:"Ok, ok! Never mind, I'm so sorry for bother you."

Mirai:"Geez...can you believe him, Haruka?"

Haruka:"?...what was that, Mirai?"

Mirai:"Did you even see what was happening?! Some random guy just went up to me, and said if I was Murasaki!"

Haruka:"My, that's ridiculous."

Mirai:"Exactly! I look nothing like Murasaki!"

Haruka:"Oh, you poor thing..."

Mirai:"Erg...shut up!"

Y/N(mind):Well, that completely backfired...

*I continue to look around the event for Murasaki*

*Murasaki's point of view*

Murasaki:"Ugh...I-Imu, can we go home?"

Imu:"No, not yet. I need to look at something real quick."

Murasaki:"Y-You've said that the past 5 times."

Imu:"Well I-"

*Imu pauses and sees someone*

Imu:"Mirai?! Haruka?!"

Murasaki:"H-Huh?!"

Murasaki(mind):What are they doing here?!

*Imu drags Murasaki towards Mirai and Haruka*

Haruka:"My, speak of the devil. Hello Murasaki, Imu."

Imu:"Hello Haruka, what are you doing here?"

Haruka:"I'm just helping Mirai here, like the nice person I am."

Mirai:"You've literally done nothing helpful!"

Haruka:"Now, now, Mirai. I'm keeping an eye on you, and keeping you company, I'm being so helpful right now."

Mirai:"I'm not a stupid kid!"

Imu:"Ok...well, nice seeing you guys."

Murasaki:"B-Bye..."

Mirai:"Hmm..."

*Mirai stares at me*

Murasaki:"G-Go away, Mirai."

Mirai:"Hmm...well, one things for certain. I look nothing like you!"

Murasaki:"Ah! W-What?"

Mirai:"Oh, some guy went up to me, and he asked if I was Murasaki, I said hell no!"

Murasaki:"Some guy?"

Mirai:"Yeah, why would he go to me think I was Murasaki?!"

Murasaki:"!"

Murasaki(mind):Wait, I made my avatar look like Mirai in the game me and Y/N always play.

Murasaki:"D-Did you get his name?"

Mirai:"?...No, but he went off in that direction."

Murasaki:"...I-Imu, can I go look for something?"

Imu:"?...Uh...o-ok, you don't want me to come with?"

Murasaki:"N-No."

*I start running into the event*

Murasaki(mind):Where is he? Who could he be?

*I find a certain spot of the event*

Murasaki(mind):Wait, this is the game that me and Y/N played together.

*I sit on the ground and cover my head in my knees, as I hold onto Bebeby*

*Y/N's point of view*

*I've been looking for Murasaki for an hour now*

Y/N(mind):Damn it, where is she?! Wait, why do I care this much? Do I...well, I don't even know what she looks like, so I can't say I love her yet, but I've been her duo partner for about a year now, and I do like her.

*I notice a certain part of the event*

Y/N(mind):Wait, this is me and Murasaki's favorite game.

*I then notice a girl sitting on the floor, curled up in a ball*

Y/N:"!"

Y/N(mind):Whoa...wait, is she ok?

*I approach the girl*

Y/N:"Hey, are you ok?"

*The girl's head perks up, and she looks terrified at me*

Murasaki:"A-Ah! P-Please...g-go away, p-please..."

Y/N:"?...O-Oh, ok. Sorry..."

*I leave the girl alone*

Y/N(mind):Wow...that girl looked so cute, but why was she crying like that? How did she even get there?!

*I walk around the event, looking for Murasaki again*

*Murasaki's point of view*

*After the guy left, I started crying*

Murasaki:*Sniff* "I wanna go home..." *Sobs*

*I stay sitting like a ball, holding Bebeby tightly towards my chest*

*Y/N's point of view*

*While looking for Murasaki, I notice the girl I was talking to earlier*

Y/N:"?"

*I see the girl pointing at me, and her along with two other girls start rushing towards me*

Y/N:"What the?!"

*One of the girls grabs onto my arms*

Y/N:"What's going on?!"

Imu:You, where's Murasaki?"

Y/N:"Murasaki? Wait, you know her?"

Mirai:"Yeah, we know her, how do you know her?!"

Y/N:"I-I'm just a friend online, I don't even know what she looks like, I swear!"

Mirai:"Wait, what?"

Y/N:"I said I don't even know what she looks like! Her avatar in the game we play looks like you, that's why I got confused. I'm sorry!"

Imu:"...O-Oh, please forgive my rudeness."

*The other girl lets go of me*

Mirai:"Uh...I'm sorry, I thought you were a creep, and you did something with her."

Y/N:"What?! No, I wouldn't. So wait, you guys know Murasaki?"

Mirai:"Yeah, purple hair, purple eyes, a real pain in the butt."

Y/N:"Haha, tell me about it! There were so many times, in game, where I got mad at her."

Imu:"Murasaki doesn't like it when people get mad."

Y/N:"Well, she never really told me face to face about that, so you don't know where she is?"

Mirai:"Nope, I'm guessing she went out looking for you."

Y/N:"For me?"

Imu:"Yeah, it's very unlike her."

Y/N:"Huh...let me try to find her."

Imu:"O-Ok then."

*I leave the girls to go look for Murasaki again*

Y/N(mind):Wow! That turned out to be a big help! Purple hair...purple eyes...wait a minute, that girl that was sitting like a ball, she had purple hair and eyes, that's got to be her!

*I rush towards the place and find Murasaki sitting there, crying*

*Murasaki's point of view*

Murasaki:*Sobs*

Y/N:"...Murasaki?"

*I lift my head up, and I see the guy again*

Murasaki:"Ah! G-Go away..."

Y/N:"Murasaki, listen to me."

Murasaki:"!...H-How'd you know my name?"

Y/N:"It's me, Murasaki. Y/N."

Murasaki:"Y/N?" *Gasps* "Y/N!"

*I hug him*

Y/N:"Whoa! U-Uh..."

*I look up and both of ours faces start blushing*

Murasaki:"Y-Y/N...how did you-"

Y/N:"It was a big hassle, let me tell you. I'm just glad I finally got to meet you in person."

*Y/N hugs me back, and he rubs my hair in the hug*

Murasaki(mind):I can't believe I found him! I...I'm so happy right now...

Murasaki:*Sobs*

Y/N:"Murasaki?"

*Without thinking, I close my eyes, and I lift up my head and push my face close to his, until our lips make contact*

Y/N:"!"

*Y/N's point of view*

*I got surprised when Murasaki suddenly lifted her head up and kissed me, making my face even more red*

Y/N(mind):What the?! This is...actually very nice. It feels so warm.

*I pull back*

Y/N:"M-Murasaki?! W-What just happened?!"

Murasaki:"A-Ah!"

*Murasaki quickly hides her face again*

Y/N:"Murasaki?"

Murasaki:"I-I-I'm s-sorry, Y-Y-Y/N."

Y/N:"What are you sorry about?"

Murasaki:"I-I-I was being to sudden, I-I-I'm so sorry:"

*Murasaki closes her eyes*

Y/N:"Murasaki..."

*I lift her head up, and kiss her*

Murasaki:"!"

*Murasaki doesn't push back, and we stay in the kiss a little bit longer, people staring at us, until Murasaki pulls back*

Murasaki:"Y-Y/N..."

Y/N(mind):Screw it, just tell her you love her already!

Y/N:"Murasaki, I-I love you. I want to be with you, if that's ok."

Murasaki:*Gasps* "Y/N...I-I...l-love...y-y-you t-too."

Y/N(mind):Not what I imagined, but still works.

*Murasaki smiles at me, and I feel my heart skip a beat*

Y/N:"!...M-Murasaki?"

Murasaki:"Y-Yes?"

Y/N:"Can I come over to your place, we can play game if you want."

Murasaki:"Y-Y/N...I-I would love to."

And so, after the most complicated search of my life, I finally found my partner in crime, and I had he the most fun I could have in one night.
