*Yumi's point of view*

I'm a female ninja that attends a ninja school called Gessen academy. Our job is to bring justice to the world, and eliminate at evil ninjas. I've got many friends that help me with that job, four girls, and one boy. That one boy is Y/N, his powers are...opposite to mine. He has the power to control fire, while I can control ice.

Me and Y/N...we have a complicated friendship because of our different powers, I'm not too friendly towards him, being both a sketchy male, and a fiery prankster. There are times in the winter where'd he lit the other girls butts on fire, just to 'fire us up' he says.

But there's something about Y/N, aside from all the fire pranks he pulls, he's very considerate towards people when it matters. He helps the rest of the girls with stuff around the house, but when it comes to me, he'd only assist me with training, and I've always wondered why.

But today is the time of the year where is powers are the weakest, winter. During winter, he'd just hang out with the rest of the girls, and he'd give them some great presents for Christmas. one time he gave our friend, Minori, a bag full of candy, and the next year, he gave Minori a pet hamster, who she still loves to this day. For another one of our friends, Murakumo, Y/N just gave her another mask for her, but the year after that, he gave Murakumo a stack of manga, that she uses as references for her own manga. Y/N has also given great gifts to the other two girls of the group, on the first year too, but he usually gives me a pair of socks, or a jacket. It's like he never knows what I want.

For this Christmas, I'm gonna ask him what he's getting me, if he just tells me, then it doesn't matter that much to him.

*Y/N's point of view*

I've been going to Gessen for a while now, I've made great friends among my allies, and we have a great time during the holidays, but this time, I've given Shiki, and Yozakura, two girls in our group, fantastic presents the first year, I gave Minori and Murakumo great presents last year, now I'm gonna give Yumi the best gift I could think of.

'What's the present?' you may be asking. I've put countless hours, blood, sweat, and so many times, I've almost been caught by Yumi herself, but I've finished my handmade snow globe with my own statue of Yumi and me under a mistletoe.

Y/N(mind):This is gonna be perfect!

I perfect the snow globe so well, it took me almost a full year to finish it. I know Yumi and I haven't always been best friends, but I Hope should make up for it all. I don't want her favorite time of the year to be ruined.

*Y/N grabs the snow globe and wraps it in a box*

Y/N:"Alright!"

It's now Christmas Eve and I have given all the other girls my gifts, except for Yumi's

*Yumi's point of view*

*Yumi goes up to Y/N, who's having fun opening everyone else's presents*

Yumi:"Hey, Y/N?"

Y/N:"Yeah?"

Yumi:"I was wondering, is my gift gonna be a bad one again?"

*Yumi looks down. Y/N puts his hand on her shoulder and chuckles*

Y/N:"Haha, not this year! I'm going all out this year! Those other presents were just the tip of the iceberg! Haha!"

Yumi:"Huh?"

Yumi(mind):I can't believe what he's saying! But he doesn't look like he was lying. What are you hiding from me, Y/N?

*Y/N's point of view*

*Y/N continues hanging out with everyone, then Yumi approaches him again*

Y/N:"What's up this time, Yumi?"

Yumi:"Are you gonna give me your gift?"

Y/N:"Hmm...nah! I'll wait til night."

Yumi:"Huh? But why?"

Y/N:"It's a surprise."

*Yumi leaves me alone*

*That night*

*Yumi's point of view*

It was almost time for our curfew, I was in my room with the window open to let cold air in because I love it so much.

*Yumi hears a knock on her door*

Yumi:"Yes?"

*Y/N opens the door, and enters my room*

Yumi:"Do you know what time it is?"

Y/N:"Hey, I can still make it in time before the school curfew."

*Y/N sits down on Yumi's bed, and pulls out a box*

Y/N:"Here, um...this is for you."

*Yumi sees Y/N's face blush a little bit as he give Yumi the gift*

Yumi:"You said this is gonna be good, I hope it's not another piece of cloth-...ing?"

*Yumi shakes the gift before opening it to reveal the snow globe*

Yumi:*Gasps* "What...what is this?!"

Y/N:"It's your gift. Merry Christmas, Yumi."

Yumi:"Y/N...did you...make this yourself?"

Y/N:"Heh, yeah...it took a lot out of me."

*Yumi stares at the snow globe with sparkles in her eyes*

Y/N:"So? Do you like it?"

Yumi:"Do I like it?! Y/N, I love it."

Y/N:"I'm glad then."

Yumi:"Oh my god..."

Yumi(mind):Even though we aren't that good of friends, Y/N would make something like this? Just for me?

Yumi:"Why? Why would you make this just for me?"

Y/N:"O-Oh, w-well that's..." *Inhales*

*Y/N leans closer towards Yumi, and pushes his lips to meet Yumi's*

Yumi:"!"

*After a few moments of shock from the sudden kiss, Yumi starts enjoying the kiss, and after about 30 seconds, they part lips*

Y/N:"Hah...hah...heh."

Yumi:"Hah...hah...Y/N..."

Y/N:"I-I know, it was sudden...but I've always loved you Yumi, I was just too scared to try to do anything until now."

Yumi:"Y/N..."

*Yumi puts her hand on Y/N's cheek, and Y/N puts his arms around Yumi*

Yumi:"Y/N, I love you too. It's just that I wanted to say something...but I couldn't."

Y/N:"It's ok, we don't have to be so scared anymore."

*Y/N put his forehead against Yumi's as they kiss each other again*

Y/N:"Ok, Yumi. I'm gonna be late. Goodnight."

Yumi:"O-Ok, Goodnight, Y/N."

*They both go to sleep*

That was the happiest moment of my life, it was the start of our special relationship.
