You were a student of Rin's for about a year, you were currently training with your lavender haired teacher, her fan blades clashed against your clawed gauntlets.

Rin: Your training is paying off, Y/N.

Y/N: Thank you, Sensei.

You pushed her back and smirked.

Rin: You remind me of my old rival. Tough and ready for a fight.

You get a drink of water.

Rin: I think you're ready to go on your first mission.

Y/N: Really?

Rin smiled at your enthusiasm. She had raised you for a few years. Your mother and father went missing and Rin raised you ever since, you were like the son she never had.

Rin: Yes. Have you heard of the Crimson Squad?

Y/N: Yes. Lead by Homura. A group of renegade shinobi.

Rin: Your job is to earn their trust.

Y/N: As you wish, Sensei.

Rin told you where to find the Crimson Squad and what each one looked like. Eventually you found a tanned girl with black hair tied in a long ponytail and a blonde girl who wore a lot of green. You recognized them from Rin's description as Homura and Yomi.

Y/N: This is easier then I thought.

You stealthily snuck behind them, following them to what you guessed was their hideout. You entered only to get tied up.

Haruka: Who are you?

Y/N: Rin-Sensei sent me.

Homura: Rin?

Yomi: Do you like bean sprouts?

Y/N: I mean no harm.

Mirai: How do we know you're not a pervert?

The one girl who kept quiet actually was the one who peaked your interest. Her short green hair and yellow snake like eyes were mesmerizing.

Hikage: ...

Homura: If he knows Rin, let's give him the benefit of the doubt.

She unties you and they lead you further in.

Yomi is really nice, she was a bit obsessed with bean sprouts though.

Mirai is like an adorable little sister type and she was very envious of the other four's more developed bodies. She also hated being ignored.

Homura is a really good chef and you noted how she was able to use six Swords at once.

Haruka is a bit... Odd. She is obsessed with cute things and she loves testing her potions.

Then there was Hikage. The greenette showed little to no emotion. But that only attracted you to her more.

You stayed with the Squad for about a week and you've earned their trust pretty well so far.

Hikage: Y/N. Want to hang out?

Y/N: Sure, Hikage.

You and the knife wielder went to the local mall and looked around. Hikage was interested in a knife shop and you found a booth where a man sketched couples.

Y/N: Hey, Hikage, wanna go get our portrait sketched together?

Hikage: Sure...

You and her sat in front of the man and he smiled.

Man: Okay, mister, hold your lady friend close and we can get started.

You held Hikage close and surprisingly, she blushed a bit. About half an hour later the man gave us the sketch. It looked beautiful.

Y/N: How much do we owe you, sir?

Man: This one's on the house for the beautiful couple.

Y/N: Really?

Hikage: Thank you.

Man: No problem.

You and Hikage took the portrait and returned to the base and you hung the portrait in your room.

Y/N: I love it. But I love Hikage more.

Unbeknownst to you, a certain scientist was eavesdropping on you.

Haruka: Ooooooo Interesting. I'd ship it.
