"I'm back" Harumin said taking off her shoes.
"Welcome back Harumi" Soha said. Harumin's eyes widen and looked up seeing her parents
"Huh? Mom? Dad?" Harumin asked
"Hey Harumi" Hojo said
"Hey dad um...what are you two doing here?" Harumin asked
"We just came by to drop a few things for Mitsuko and we need to talk about the future for our company" Hojo said sitting down on the couch
"The future? There is no need since I already know I have to work with Mitsuko and...Matsuri" Harumin said mumbling Matsuri's name and dropped her bag
"That's what we must talk about. You'll be working with Matsuri" Soha said
"Wh-what?!" Harumin exclaimed her voice slightly cracking
"U-um mom, dad you can't partner her up with me. We don't get along" Harumin said
"It's already been decided..." Hojo said
"B-but she's um...irresponsible" Harumin said
"We had a feeling she was like that so we gave the Mizusawas an advice and told them to make their daughter go to the Aihara Academy. She'll be getting help from Mei to get her back on track. That way she'll be ready to do her work. You'll be helping her and working with her" Hojo said. Harumin stood there surprised and speechless.
Me and her...working together? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK! That's even worse! Now I have to suffer seeing that brat everyday! She'll use that as a chance to fuckin touch me...
"Dad please I don't want to work with her. Why can't she work with my sister?" Harumin asked
"Mitsuko can work alone. She doesn't need help. It'll only distract her..." Hojo said
"But why me? Why does she have to work with me?" Harumin asked
"You'll be teaching her around just like your sister did to you. You'll be her boss" Hojo said
"Eh? Boss?" Harumin asked
"Yes that's why you'll be working with her" Hojo said
"Does that mean...I can tell her what to do?" Harumin asked
"Uh well of course...but it has to involve work. You may be the boss of her but that doesn't mean she's your slave or something like that" Hojo said
"What if she gives me any trouble?" Harumin asked
"Just come and tell us. We'll talk with the Mizusawas about it and let them handle their daughter. If they aren't able to control and handle their daughter then the deal is off" Soha said
"Okay when will we start working?" Harumin asked
"The Mizusawas were the ones giving us the idea for you to work for their daughter but we're still not sure. That's why we'll be having a small dinner with them on Friday. We'll see if their daughter makes a perfect partner for you..." Hojo said
"I understand father" Harumin said smiling softly
"Hmmm? It seems that made you quite happy" Her grandmother said giggling softly which made Harumin blush slightly
"It's not because of that grandma. There is nothing between us" Harumin said
"Hm? Between who? You and Matsuri?" Soha asked
"Ah yes. You two are already great friends" Hojo said
"Yeah...'we're great friends'" Harumin and rolling her eyes
"If you two are great friends then why didn't you want to work with her?" Soha asked
"Well because...um it's uh nevermind" Harumin said shaking her head
"Alright. We just came by to tell you that. We'll be leaving now. We have a bit of work to finish up back home" Hojo said
"When will you guys stop working?" Harumin asked
"Don't worry Harumi. We're not working our butts off all day. There are time where we do take sometime off" Soha said
"Your mother is right. We won't stress ourselves too much. We'll be taking a few days off in about a month but for now...we must work" Hojo said heading out the door
"Bye mom. We'll visit some other time but if there is an emergency just call us" Soha said and kissed her mother's forehead
"Thank you for stopping by sweetie. Take care now" Her grandmother said
"Love you mom. Hope you feel better soon" Soha said and walked up to her two daughters
"Goodbye you two and take good care of each other and your grandmother" Soha said and kissed their forehead.
"Bye mother" Mitsuko said
"Bye mom" Harumin said and smiled softly
"Love you both. Have a good afternoon" Soha said before walking out the door. Harumin looked out the window and watched them leave. She sighed and leaned against the window staring at the car that drove away out of sight
Flashback
"When is mama coming home?" Harumin asked
"Can you stop asking? Mom and Dad are working late..." Mitsuko said
"B-but...mama promised to come back and spend time together. Don't you want to spend some family time?" Harumin asked
"There might not be enough time to spend time with them. It'll only waste their time..." Mitsuko said
"But it's okay to waste time on us because we'll be having fun" Harumin said
"Harumi...it's time to grow up. We can't be kids forever..." Mitsuko said
"But it's too early to grow up. I'm only six..." Harumin said
"And? I started working at that age" Mitsuko said
"But isn't boring? Working and doing paperwork things? I mean don't you want to play outside and do fun things instead of doing adult stuff?" Harumin asked
"You get used to it after a while..." Mitsuko said
"Do I have to do that adult stuff?" Harumin asked
"Yes..." Mitsuko said
"But that's boring stuff" Harumin said
"You have to do it for the family. Mom and Dad are doing this because they love us..." Mitsuko said
"If they loved us they wouldn't leave us alone while they work their butts off at work. Isn't that kinda bad for them? They might not get enough sleep and end up hot sleeping well" Harumin said
"That's why we'll be helping them..." Mitsuko said
"But that stuff is boring. I rather do something else when I grow up. I might become a...hmmm. What do I want to be?" Harumin asked herself as she was thinking
"You should just be whatever our parents tell you to be..." Mitsuko said
"Boring! I could be a teacher or a doctor or an artist! There are so many things I could be" Harumin said and started jumping on the couch
"Hey don't jump on the couch" Mitsuko said
"Awww come on sis. Let's play for a bit" Harumin said
"No" Mitsuko said
"Hmph! You're no fun at all" Harumin mumbled
"Whatever..." Mitsuko said. Harumin walked on the couch and tackled her sister getting on her back
"Giddy up pony! Yeehaw!" Harumin said
"Get off" Mitsuko said as she stood up pushing Harumin off her back
"I just wanted to play..." Harumin mumbled. Mitsuko sighed and ruffled her hair messing it up
"You'll understand...hopefully" Mitsuko said

"Come on Harumi. Prepare the table for dinner" Mitsuko said
"Yes sis" Harumin said

"What?! You put me in the Aihara Academy!?" Matsuri exclaimed
"Matsuri keep your voice down..." Her grandmother said
"Sorry grandma" Matsuri said
"How many times do I have to repeat it to you? Yes you're going to the Aihara Academy tomorrow. I took the Taniguchi's advice and decided to put you there. You will be working with the Chairman's granddaughter Mei Aihara. You will obey her and focus on your studies. I don't want you to be wearing those headphones and be playing any ridiculous games. And dye that pink hair of yours back to black. You must look professional and act like one already" Her father said
"I'm only 14. You can't just tell me to grow up already I still have many years left until I'm an adult" Matsuri said
"You should act mature already just like their daughters" Her father said
"But Harumin doesn't act all professional" Matsuri said
"She may not be perfect as her older sister but she still respects and obeys her parents unlike you. So stop complaining and do as you're told. Understand?" Her father asked. Matsuri gritted her teeth and clenched her fists tightly
"Yes father" Matsuri replied
"Good and you better obey or else...you're on your own out in the world" Her father said
"Can I at least keep my hair the way it is?" Matsuri asked
"Pink hair won't match with your outfit and it looks ridiculous. You should be taking it seriously and besides it's the Aihara Academy's rule" Her father said
"But Yuzu-chan has her hair dyed blonde and they allow it" Matsuri said
"All we care about is you and we need you to dye your hair back to black. I don't care what that Okogi does and I need you to stay away from her" Her father said
"Why?! She's my friend and sister! She took care of me when you and mom were never there for me!" Matsuri said
"Don't raise your voice..." Her father said
"Please l beg you just let me keep my hair the way it is. I promise I'll work hard on my studies and impress the Taniguchi family. I promise" Matsuri said pleading
"Very well. I'll allow it if you impress them...if you fail then you'll be kicked out" He said
"Yes sir. I understand" Matsuri said
"Good" He said and hanged up. Matsuri put the phone down and groaned
"Do I really have to go to that Academy?" Matsuri asked
"It's a great school for you. It'll at least help you out" Her grandmother said
"I guess...but the good thing is that I'll be able to see my friends" Matsuri said
"Yes and your cousin Nitski can help you out" Her grandmother said
"Oh yeah she'll be able to help me out I guess but I can't wait to see Taniguchi-senpai" Matsuri said
"You really are so in love with her aren't you?" Her grandmother asked
"U-um no. I'm not that in love-I mean I'm not in love!" Matsuri said blushing deeply
"Oh relax Matsuri. It's okay to admit that you're in love. There is nothing to be embarrassed about. It's love" Her grandmother said
"Yeah but...what if she doesn't like me back?" Matsuri asked
"Have you confessed to her?" Her grandmother asked
"W-well...um I k-kinda did" Matsuri said
"Kinda?" Her grandmother asked
"Okay yeah I did but she said that we won't work out and that...well she hasn't been in love or ever felt love before" Matsuri said
"Give her some time to think about it Matsuri. You can't rush things like that. There needs to be sometime to think about things in life but I don't think you need to worry about it. I bet she'll talk to you about it..." Her grandmother said
"But she's taking forever..." Matsuri said
"Like I said you can't rush things like that. You can't just take her and make her yours by force. It's for her to decide whether or not she loves you back or has any feelings for you" Her grandmother said
"Yeah..." Matsuri said walking upstairs.
