"What happened Harumin?" Yuzu asked
"Nothing..." Harumin said. Yuzu looked at Harumin and leaned closely to her face
"Y-yuzucchi why are you getting so close to me?" Harumin asked blushing
"Hmm? I can sense you're lying..." Yuzu said looking into her hazel eyes. Harumin blushed deeply as she looked at Yuzu's beautiful emerald eyes
"It's n-nothing" Harumin said pushing her away. She trembled slightly as she saw Mei giving her a death glare telling to back off from her Yuzu
"Alright" Yuzu said and spotted Matsuri's friends
"Huh? Where's Matsuri?" Yuzu asked as she stood up from her seat
"Hey you guys! Where's Matsuri?" Yuzu asked
"Oh Matsuri told us that her grandmother called her to go back home" Furto said
"Oh she did?" Yuzu asked
"Yeah...I know it sucks" Sakira said. Harumin took a sip of her drink until someone came in startling her a bit
"Mind if we talk somewhere private?" Lina asked
"Hm? Why?" Harumin asked
"You know why..." Lina said glaring at her. Harumin sighed and stood up
"Fine..." Harumin said
"Where are you two going?" Asher asked
"We're just going somewhere" Lina said. Harumin followed Lina someplace empty where no one would hear them
"Please tell me this isn't about Matsuri..." Harumin said
"It is" Lina said
"Oh great...why do you want to talk about her?" Harumin asked
"Because I'm her best friend and I know you did something to her..." Lina said
"I know I hurted her but...I couldn't accept her confession" Harumin said
"You could've given her a chance" Lina said
"Why would I given her a chance? Besides she'd done many uncomfortable things to me. I don't feel safe when I'm alone with her. She's going to violate me or something..." Harumin said and shivered getting the chills
"But she loves you" Lina said
"It wouldn't work out" Harumin said
"How do you know it won't work out if you haven't tried giving her a chance?" Lina asked
"I just know it won't work out now stop wasting my time. I don't want to talk about it anymore..." Harumin said and turned to leave but Lina grabbed her wrist tightly and glared at her
"Hurt her like that again and you'll see what I'll do to you..." Lina said
"I didn't mean to hurt her like that. I was only telling her the truth..." Harumin said
"You'll regret it..." Lina growled
"Let me go" Harumin said getting out of her grip. Lina clenched her fists tightly and pulled out her phone

Matsuri
L- Hey...I talked with Harumi
M- Why?
L- Because...I wanted to try and convince her to give you a chance
M- Just forget it...
L- But you're my best friend and I'm worried about you
M- You don't have to worry about me. I'm fine
L- You say you're fine but you're not! I know you Matsuri!
M- Stop worrying about me. I'm okay
L- Are you still going after her?
M- What do you think?
L- Maybe you should give it up...
L- You can't keep going after someone who'll never love you back...
L- Matsuri?
L- Answer me!
L- If you don't answer I'm immediately coming to your place

Lina sighed and leaned against the wall. She looked at her phone to check if Matsuri answered but nothing.
Why did you have to fall for someone like her? What do you see in her? What makes her so special? Why do you love her?

Matsuri read the message and turned her phone off. She laid down on the bed and looked at the ceiling
"I'm not giving up. I'm going to make her mine" Matsuri said and closed her eyes.
How can I make her mine? Should I buy her gifts and chocolate? How can I win her heart?
Matsuri groaned and rolled around her bed. She pulled her phone out and looked at Harumin's number.

M- Taniguchi-senpai...are you there?
M- I just wanted to apologize for everything I did...

M- Please...we need to talk
H- I don't think we should talk about it

H- No and I accept your apology but I don't want to talk about it

H- Matsuri...I only love you as a friend. We will be nothing more than just friends...
M- But if you give me a chance you'll see that you love me more than a friend

Matsuri's eyes widen and threw her phone at the wall. She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists tightly
"Damnit Yuzu-chan...why are you always in the way? You already have Mei-san...do you need more bitches to fuck or something?" Matsuri mumbled and got out of bed
"Matsuri? Lina is here" Her grandmother said. Matsuri walked up to the door and opened it
"Lina?" Matsuri asked
"Yes she's downstairs. Do you want her to come up here?" Her grandmother asked
"Yeah sure..." Matsuri said.
"Lina you may come in" Her grandmother said. Suddenly Lina ran upstairs and went in Matsuri's room
"Matsuri-chan!" Lina said tackling her
"Hey Lina" Matsuri said and pushed her off
"If you need anything just call me" Her grandmother said and left
"I texted you a bunch of times and you didn't answer me!" Lina said
"I said I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me" Matsuri said and looked away. Lina sighed and saw Matsuri's phone on the ground. She walked up to her phone and opened it seeing Matsuri and Harumin's conversation
"So...you're still chasing after her?" Lina asked
"Yes..." Matsuri said and walked up to snatching her phone
"But Matsuri you can't-"
"You said I shouldn't give up..." Matsuri said
"W-well yeah but...maybe she won't fall for you" Lina said
"I'll do whatever it takes to win her heart..." Matsuri said
"Whatever it takes?" Lina asked
"Of course. I'm not going to stop until I have my senpai..." Matsuri said
"Good luck with that. Taniguch-san won't let you get near her..." Lina said
"I know...but that's not stopping me" Matsuri said and a smirk formed in her lips

"Bye Yuzucchi! Bye Prez!" Harumin said waving goodbye at the two girls
"Bye Harumin! See ya tomorrow at school!" Yuzu said waving goodbye as well and left with Mei. Harumin walked away heading home
Good thing the rain stopped...
Harumin looked up seeing the sun shine and looked at her phone. She couldn't help but feel bad for what she did. She just shrugged it off and walked home. She opened the door seeing her grandmother sitting on the wheelchair
"Hey grandma" Harumin said
"Harumi...welcome home" Her grandmother said giving her a warm smile. Harumin walked inside and kissed her grandmother's cheek
"I'll prepare dinner" Harumin said
"No need dear. Your sister is back from her business trip with her parents" Her grandmother said
"Huh? But isn't she staying with my parents back at the mansion?" Harumin asked
"No...she decided to come live with us" Her grandmother said
"Oh okay..." Harumin said. Her grandmother tilted her head and reached to touch her cheek
"Is something wrong?" Her grandmother asked
"Hm? Oh no no...I just feel tired" Harumin said
"Are you sure?" Her grandmother asked
"Yes grandma. I'm fine" Harumin said and smiled softly. The door was knocked and Harumin went up to open it seeing her sister Mitsuko
"Hey Harumi" Mitsuko said
"O-oh hey sis" Harumin said and allowed her sister inside
"Welcome back Mitsuko" Her grandmother said
"Hey grandmother. Are you doing okay?" Mitsuko asked and kissed her grandmother's cheek
"Of course I'm okay. Harumi has been taking good care of me..." Her grandmother said
"That's good. I'll prepare dinner for us" Mitsuko said and put down her bags
"How was the business trip?" Her grandmother asked
"It was okay. We started working with another company" Mitsuko said
"Did you enjoy the trip?" Her grandmother asked
"It was quite interesting" Mitsuko said
"Will you be ready?" Her grandmother asked looking at Harumin
"Me?" Harumin asked
"You'll learn to work at the company just like your parents. Both of you will work at the company isn't that great" Her grandmother said
"Yeah..." Harumin said and walked down the hall and went to her room. She entered the room and sat down on her bed
"I-I love you Taniguchi-senpai. Ever since the first day I met you...I felt something for you. I couldn't stop thinking about you. I didn't understand why it was happening but I soon realized that I was in love with you. That's why I've been doing those things to you...s-so...will you go out with me?"
"There is no way I'm giving her a chance..." Harumin mumbled to herself and closed her eyes. She remembered something odd with Matsuri when she hugged her. She remembered feeling something hard against her thigh

Matsuri and Lina were sitting down on the bed playing video games
"Wow you're seriously terrible at this game..." Matsuri said
"It's been a while okay?" Lina said
"Huh? You haven't played video games in a while?" Matsuri asked
"Kinda...I mean my parents want me to focus on my studies since my grades have dropped" Lina said
"Oh okay" Matsuri said
"Hey Matsuri...um...where are your parents? You haven't talked about them..." Lina said
"There just in their business trip. They work a lot so they don't have time for me. That's why my grandmother takes care of me a lot..." Matsuri said
"What happened to your grandfather?" Lina asked
"He passed away when I was 8..." Matsuri said. Lina paused the game and looked at Matsuri
"Do you miss him?" Lina asked
"Yes...I do. We had so many things in common..." Matsuri said
"How did he die?" Lina asked
"He had a heart attack..." Matsuri mumbled
Flashback
"I-is grandpa...going to be okay?" Matsuri asked as she hugged her grandmother. Her grandmother stayed silent and didn't spoke. Matsuri whimpered knowing the answer
"I-is he gone...?" Matsuri asked
"No...here" Her grandmother said and pulled out a necklace
"Wh-what's this?" Matsuri asked taking the necklace
"It's your grandfather's necklace. As long as you have this...he'll always live inside us" Her grandmother said. Matsuri looked at the necklace and teared up. Her grandmother hugged her and kissed her head softly.
"It'll be okay..." Her grandmother whispered

"Oh...I'm so sorry" Lina said. Matsuri looked at the necklace and held it closely to her chest
"It's fine..." Matsuri said. Lina wrapped her arms around Matsuri and nuzzled her neck. Suddenly Matsuri heard the front door and heard a few voices she recognized. Matsuri's eyes widen and got up
"You need to leave..." Matsuri said
"Why?" Lina asked
"She's here..." Matsuri said
"Who?" Lina asked. Matsuri opened the door and walked downstairs
"Hey mom it's nice to see you again" Her aunt said
"It's a pleasure to see you too dear" Her grandmother said
"Matsuri? Who's here?" Lina asked. A red haired girl with brown eyes appeared behind her mother and smiled softly
"My cousin...Nitski" Matsuri said glaring at her. Nitski looked at Matsuri and a playful smirk appeared on her lips
