It's the evening before my old man comes back and now I have a bigger problem then I anticipated. I groaned looking over to Ria who was preparing me a lunch box ready for tomorrow as well as dinner before the sun sets. My old man comes back tomorrow, they will be expecting a rabbit to be in my room now a human girl. One the bright side, I can lie and say, "Well it's been a week so i started the adoption process" but then how do I explain this current situation. 

"Hey Senku," Ria called to me , leaning of the kitchen counter that was open to the living room. "What's a normal school like?" 

"They don't have schools where you're from?" I asked, raising a brow. Ria shrugged and moved her hand in a gesture that said kind of.  "Well, it's full of people who you may or may not get along with. Though if you're lucky you will find a couple of good ones in the bunch who will stand beside you." 

"Like Yuzuriha?" I nodded, having told Ria of Yuzuriha due to the blanket she was using. "Is she your girlfriend?" 

I laughed. "Definitely not," I assured. "My big oaf friend, Taiju would certainly kill me if i ever developed that type of relationship with her. Beside, love is a waste of time and causes nothing but trouble." 

"Yeah," Ria let out a small chuckle. "I understand that thought, look where someone else's love got me. Though, the love of your parents and sister is different right?" 

I thought for a moment. Is that love? I always thought of it as more of an instinctual thing. "We're not blood related," I stated. "So, maybe I don't fully comprehend the question." I heard Ria let out a 'hmph' before turning around. She is a descendant of Kaguya, that would in theory make her a princess, so I wonder if she has a close relationship with family or even has friends for that matter. "Go wash up," She ordered in a blunt tone. "Dinner will be ready shortly." 

I didn't take her tone into much thought. I'm ten billion present sure she's just missing her home but with how she's acting, is there much for her to go back to? Once I washed up, I took my seat. "Ria, why don't I introduce you to my friends?" That question had her nearly dropping the plate, luckily it was over the table and we manged to catch it in time. "You dummy! I was just thinking the more people we recruit to help the better lead we'll have on getting you home right?" It was like she couldn't speak, only giving a large smile. She nodded, I assume agreeing with the plan as she continued to set the table. 

I have just made things twice as hard for myself. Not only do I have to find a way of hiding Ria's human form from my old man but also convincing Taiju and Yuzuriha of this whole situation. I groaned, hitting my head on the table. I'm ten billion percent screwed. 

The next morning came and by some miracle I've been brought some time regarding Ria and my old man. They won't return until after sundown today, should my calculations be correct which at most I'm one millionth of a chance incorrect. Now, to convince Yuzuriha of the situation, Taiju will be easy to convince, big oaf believes anything.  

I wanted until morning, noting Ria's form chasing from rabbit to human. So at night is certainly when the form changes. I wonder, when it stays lighter for longer, if she remains human longer or is it a time associated curse. I sighed, Ria waving me off at the door with a lunch. "You really didn't have to make me lunch," I advised placing it in my bag. 

"I wanted to," She chimed. "Have a good day." 

I waved as I left. She really is kind of cute both as a rabbit and a human, I smirked to myself. Maybe its ignorance. Wait, what am I thinking? Shaking my head as if to get rid for the thought. The day went on and soon I was able to meet up with Yuzuriha to talk, Taiju behind he like the obedient dog he was. We met up on the roof, as I was cautios of someone ease dropping. "So, what is it you need to talk about Senku?" Taiju asked, his curisity showing. 

"Yeah, does it have something to do with these clothes you asked for?" Yuzuriha asked, holding up a bag of clothes. Not like I could give Ria Lillian's clothes forever. I gave a cough, before pulling out my phone and showing them a picture of Ria. I watched as Yuzuriha blushed deeply, as Ria was just in a t-shirt in the picture. "S-senku, who is that?" 

"Woah, a girlfriend?" Taiju asked. 

I shook my head, then scrolling to the next picture of Ria, as a rabbit in the same shirt. Yuzuriha seemed to have got it in one but Taiju was still confused. "Are you telling me that this girl is-" 

"Meet Ria," I laughed, putting my phone back in my pocket. "A human girl, who claims to be a descendant of Kaguya, who has been cursed for setting foot on Earth." 

Yuzuriha was speechless and Taiju still confused. Yeah, this is what I expected. Taiju continued to babble on about a potential girlfriend and Yuzuriha turned trying to explain what I had said in a way for Taiju to explain. I laughed at the sight, it's rather entertaining to watch Taiju's brain try to process information. In the chaos between the two of them, my phone started to vibrate. I sighed, pulling it out of my pocket again and noticing a video call off my old man. He's not back until this evening. I walked to a quiet area and answered the call and my eyes wiudened. They  were home, my old man with his arm around a nervous looking Ria. "Hey Senku," He greeted with a large smirk. "Seems I found the rabbit you adopted."
