Chapter 19

That night at dinner, Chase announced that they had received great news, they had bought the house. Addie seemed happier than she was earlier.

They would move in two weeks. Addie didn't say much when Chase announced that.

Saylor decided to give Addie a surprise. She took out her tablet and got onto Skype. She was happy to see that Hannah was online. She requested a video chat. "Hey sis," Hannah said.

"Hey," Saylor said.

"You look awful," Hannah commented.

"I'm exuasted," Saylor replied. "Addie's been having a bad week."

"What do you mean?" Hannah asked, getting worried about her niece.

"There's a bully, and she's been framing her and her friends," she replied. "She pushed her down today while I was at her principal's office."

Hannah sighed. "So I take it she's not in the best mood?" she asked.

"Not really," Saylor replied.

"Aw, poor kid," Hannah said. "Can I talk to her?"

"That's kinda why I called you," Saylor replied. "She loves talking to you."

"Cool," Hannah said, as Saylor called her daughter to her room.

"Yes mommy?" Addie asked.

"Someone wants to talk to you," Saylor replied, and Addie got on the bed with her.

"Aunt Hannah!!" Addie yelled.

Addie told her all about Andrea, and her new friends Alex and Dani. Saylor smiled, because she knew. She knew for the first time in a week, Addie was truly happy.

Meanwhile, at Sun Hi and Dylan's place...

"Mom, this isn't fair!" Marcus complained.

"You shouldn't have pushed Andrea," Sun Hi replied.

"But she pushed Addie!"

"Well I'm sorry, but two wrongs don't make a right."

"But I was defending my friend!"

"We are not discussing this Marcus, you're grounded, now go back to your room!"

"Ugh! This isn't fair!"

Marcus marched up to his room. Sadie came out from the playroom. "Hey baby girl," Sun Hi said.

"Can I go to Addie's house?" Sadie asked.

"Let me call Addie's mom, maybe Addie would like to come here," Sun Hi said.

"Okay!" Sadie said excitedly.

Addie had just gotten off the phone with Hannah. She was hanging around Saylor, when Saylor's phone rang. "Hello?" she answered.

"Hey," Sun Hi said.

"Hey, what's up?"

"Well, Marcus is grounded, and Sadie is bored out of her mind. Do you think Addie could come over?"

"Sure, I'll get Chase to drive me and her there, you and I can hang out while they do."

"Cool, see you soon."

"See you."

Saylor got off the phone. "Hey Pumpkin, wanna go to Sadie's house?"

"Yeah!" Addie replied.

Saylor called Chase and he picked the girls up, then took them to Sylan's house. Sadie met them at the door. "Come on!" she said. "I got something really cool in my room!"

"Okay!" Addie replied, then ran off with Sadie.

Saylor sat on the couch next to Sun Hi. "Hey," she said.

"Hey," Sun Hi replied. "How's Addie?"

"Better, I let her Skype Hannah," Saylor replied. "How's Marcus taking the whole grounding thing?"

"Not so great," she replied. "He's still mad that he has to stay in his room until Friday."

"Yeah," Saylor said. "Where's Dylan?"

"Lying down," Sun Hi replied. "He wasn't feeling well, and Sadie is having trouble staying out of our room."

"Aw," Saylor said. "She's a Daddy's girl."

Sun Hi giggled. "Yeah," she said, then began coughing a little.

"You okay?" Saylor asked.

Sun Hi managed to stop. "Yeah, just a little cough," she replied. "Nothing seri- ACHOO!"

Saylor gave Sun Hi a concerned look. "I'm fine Sayels, really," she said.

Saylor put her hand up to Sun Hi's forehead. "Sun Hi, I think you have a fever," she said.

Sun Hi groaned. "I can't get sick," she said. "Someone has to take care of the twins."

"I'll watch them," Saylor replied. "I mean, I'll take them back to Jared's, Addie and Sadie can sleep Addie's room and Marcus can sleep in the second guest bed."

Sun Hi sighed. "Thanks Sayels," she said. "God I feel awful."

"Just get some rest," she said. "Call me if you need anything. Here, you know what, what if I just spent the night here? I can drop the kids at the bus stop tomorrow and I'll call Chase to take me to school."

"That works," Sun Hi said stuffily, getting up, but she was trembling.

Saylor took a blanket and wrapped it around her. "Go to bed," she said. "Call me if you need anything."

"Okay, thanks again Sayels," she said.

"No problem," Saylor replied, and Sun Hi went to her room.

Saylor went upstairs and told all three kids what was going on. "Yay!" Addie and Sadie said at the same time.

"Cool," Marcus replied, engrossed in his book.

Saylor went downstairs and called Chase, asking him to get Addie's PJs and an outfit for tomorrow.

He came over and dropped off the stuff, then gave Addie a kiss and hug before leaving. Saylor gave the girls dinner in the playroom so they could keep playing and Marcus's in his room because he wasn't allowed to leave. "Hey, Aunt Saylor?" he asked, just as she was about to leave.

"Yeah Marcus?" Saylor asked.

"Do you think I did the wrong thing?" he asked.

"Well," Saylor replied, sitting next to him. "Kind of, maybe you should have said something, but not have gotten e physical."

Marcus nodded. "I couldn't help it," he said. "They were hurting my best friend."

Saylor nodded. "I know, I'd probably be in your shoes if it were me," she said.

Marcus smiled, then hugged Saylor. She hugged back. "Thanks Aunt Saylor," he said.

"No problem," she replied.

Saylor went downstairs to see Sun Hi on the couch. "Hey," she said stuffily.

"Hey," Saylor said. "Shouldn't you be in bed?"

"Dylan kinda kicked me off, he's a restless sleeper when he's sick," she replied.

"Oh," Saylor said.

Sun Hi lied down on the couch, then fell asleep. Saylor fell asleep soon after in the guest room.

Well, I've got some news guys, starting Tuesday, updates are probably gonna be slow, mostly because that's when softball season starts! Plus shotgun team, which I'm going to be practicing a lot for both. Anyways, I will try to update every other day at least. Don't forget to comment and vote!

Thank you and Lacey!
