"Jodi Mappa is..."

"Awake and doing well!" the doctor said, pleased with his work. "You may come to see her now."

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. The group headed back over to the hospital. They went into the waiting room, when Jodi entered on a wheel chair, her right leg gone. She smiled at everyone. "Hey guys," she said.

Everyone ran up to hug her, except Saylor. Saylor kept in the back, smiling shyly at Jodi. Kind of like when they had first met. "Sayels," Jodi said, wheeling over to her. "What's wrong?"

"I don't want to hurt you," Saylor whispered.

Jodi shook her head. "You won't hurt me," she told her. "Come on, give me a hug."

Saylor smiled and hugged her best friend. "Okay guys," Jodi said. "Time for business, the band."

"Jodes, we're gonna take a break," Sun Hi said. "You're hurt, Corki's got the triplets, I hate to say it, but I think it might be time to say goodbye to XO-IQ."

"We have to do one last concert," Jodi said. "We can't just disappear. Corki, do you think you could do it?"

Corki nodded. "I'll try," she replied. "But no crazy dance moves."

Saylor nodded. "What if we just did, like, an acoustic session of all the songs?" she asked.

"Perfect," Kyler agreed.

Sun Hi put her hand out. Corki put her's on top of Sun Hi's. Then Jodi. Then Saylor. Then Kyler. The girls all looked over at Caleb. "It isn't XO-IQ without you," Saylor said.

He put his hand in. "One last time?" Sun Hi asked. (A/N: who can guess what song I'm listening to?)

"One last time!" everyone yelled as their hands flew into the air.

*timeskip!! Two weeks later*

It was time for the final XO-IQ performance. Everyone cheered as Jodi came up on her wheelchair, the story had gone across the school quiete fast. The girls began their session. At the end of the concert, there was a standing ovation, and the girls gave an encour. Just as they were about to come off stage, Corki took the microphone. "Jodi, I have to tell you something," she said.

Jodi looked at her best friend curiously. "My father and I would like to donate enough to get you a prosthetic leg," Corki said.

The crowd gasped. Jodi began to cry, and the band hugged her. Backstage, Jodi kept thanking Corki. "Jodes, really," Corki said. "I'd do anything for you, you're one of my best friends."

The two hugged again.

Later that night...

Ricky passed Saylor in the hallway. The two hadn't spoken in weeks, and Saylor was pretty sure they had broken up without words. Sure enough, she saw him with another girl just seconds after. "Saylor," he said. "I'd like you to meet Julia."

He had his arm around her. Saylor shook Julia's hand. "Nice to meet you," Julia said. "Well, I'd better get going babe."

She pecked Ricky on the lips then left. Ricky smirked at Saylor. "Peace," he said, then left.

Saylor walked back to her room. She didn't say hi to Kyler and went straight for her computer. She plugged the headphones in and turned up her music.
