Ieyasu's POV

There's been temporary peace in the land of the rising sun, because of that my wife and I have been at home together, it's been so long since she and I were together in the same house.

I was busy working along side the other provinces in order to keep the peace many treaties were being signed in order to make it official. I spent the nights in my study reading the paperwork.

"Ieyasu are done?"

I turned around to face the innocent voice, it was my wife of course.

"Evening Kyrie, yes I'm already done for today. I'm going to take a bath now, would you like to join me?" I asked.

She blushed furiously. "Umm sure Ieyasu."

I chucked and cupped her chin. "You can help me wash my back alright?"

She nodded. Still blushing.

Kyrie's POV

Me and Ieyasu were in the giant bath it honestly the bath is big enough for the two of us it was ridiculously large.

"Ieyasu you want me to wash your back right?" I asked.

"Yes." He answered.

I nodded and grabbed a cloth and started washing his back as he leaned against the edge. I focused on washing his back, he sighed in relief.

'Ieyasu must be so stressed out lately he's barely had time to relax at all.'

"Have I been a good husband to you during the time we've been married?" He asked.

My eyes widened and I frowned. "Ieyasu you're a wonderful husband and I'm very lucky to be married to you." I said.

'What's going on with Ieyasu it's like he's regretting his choices up till now.'

He smiled. "Thanks Kyrie...now how about washing the other parts of me?" He asked mischievously.

Ieyasu turned around and grabbed me and pulled me into the water along with him causing my towel to fall off of me when he grabbed me.

He chuckled as I shivered as my exposed skin touched the luke warm water. Ieyasu held me tightly and I wrapped my arms around him.

"I'm sorry is the water cold?" He teased.

"Shut up...."

Ieyasu squeezed me tightly and kissed my lips.

"I love you Kyrie you know that right?"

"Of course I do Ieyasu why are you acting so strange?" I asked concerned.

I shook it off maybe it wasn't important, however I was going to take advantage of the circumstance.

I kissed Ieyasu's lips, he kissed back. I took the opportunity to rake my nails down his back.

"Kyrie.." He groaned.

I giggled and wrapped my legs around his waist. He supported my weight on his forearms.

He clenched his teeth together. He squeezed my hips.

"You know it's been a while since we've been together like this." He stated.

"Exactly." He smiled.

Ieyasu kissed my lips hungrily and ran his hands through my body, I yelped.

He stopped and looked at me dumbfounded.

"Alright let's go to our bedroom then." He chuckled.

I nodded. Ieyasu picked me up bridal style and made his way towards the bedroom luckily for us the bath and the bedroom was only a sliding door away.

He laid me gently on the bed and it felt so soft and plush underneath me. Ieyasu laid down on me kissing the different parts of my body.

"You're so beautiful Kyrie..." He mumbled.

I wrapped my arms around his neck pushing him closer to me.

Ieyasu and I were eating dinner as we usually do.

"Kyrie are you still that hungry?" He asked.

I looked down at my plate and realized I had eaten about 3 plates.

"Yes, I don't know what's wrong with me I'm just very hungry ok."

"That's odd....are you sick Kyrie?" Ieyasu asked.

"No, I feel fine just very hungry?" I responded.

"Alright then are you done so we can go to bed?" He asked.

"Yes, I'm done lets go."

I stood up and wobbled a little bit because I lost my balance, Ieyasu caught me.

"Kyrie!! Be more careful!!" He shouted.

I frowned at him. "I just lost my balance that's all you don't have to yell at me Ieyasu."

He sighed. "Can we please go to bed?"

"Yes we can." I answered.

Ieyasu and I went to bed in the middle of the night I felt a wave of nausea come to me.

I stood up from the bed and went to the washroom.

*THROWS UP*

"Kyrie!!" Ieyasu shouted.

He entered to the washroom to see me throwing up in the bin.

"Kyrie you're sick." Ieyasu stated.

I wiped my mouth and fixed myself. "No I'm not Ieyasu I'm fine." I argued.

"Kyrie now is not the time for you to argue with me, I'm calling for a doctor whether you like it or not." He glared.

"Ughhh I feel bloated." I complained.

Ieyasu picked me up bridal style and laid me on the bed.

"Are you hurting somewhere?" He asked.

"No,but my stomach aches."

Ieyasu closed my kimono and stood up. "Stay here I'm getting the doctor."

Soon Ieyasu came back with a doctor and a nurse.

"My lady the lord states that you are not feeling well?" He asked.

"My stomach just feels bloated and I threw up a few minutes ago." I explained.

"I see please allow me to check your stomach my lady."

The doctor touched my stomach.

"Well, doctor is my wife gonna be okay?" Ieyasu asked.

"Yes, her stomach isn't bloated it's swollen I'll have to check her breast as well."

"WHAT?! NO, IEYASU!!" I shouted.

"Kyrie please calm down."

Once he left with the nurse it was only me and Ieyasu he was in a state of shock he didn't say anything.

He chuckled and started laughing, then he started crying.

"Huh?! Ieyasu what's wrong?!" I panicked.

"It's nothing Kyrie I'm just very happy....in a few months we'll have a new member to the clan." He said.

Ieyasu leaned down onto my waist and opened my kimono revealing my stomach. He proceeded to give butterfly kisses to it.

"Your father loves you very much little one I can't wait to see you." He whispered.

Tears sprung in my eyes, I was so happy.

Ieyasu kissed me. "I love you Kyrie."

Ieyasu's POV

Ever since Kyrie got pregnant I've been more protective around her making sure the baby's alright and she's fine.

She's been getting a lot of mood swings and cravings these past few months as the child inside her grew more every day. She was getting annoyed at my overprotectiveness.

"Ieyasu I want to go outside." Kyrie complained.

"What if you fall over or something and you hurt yourself__." I ranted.

I sighed. "Fine, but I'm going with you."

"That's fine by me."

She chuckled. "Ieyasu you know I'm pregnant with your child at the moment so flirting with me won't get you any action as long as he/she is still in me."

I playfully pouted. "Come now the doctor said as long as I wasn't being rough on you, we could still do it."

Kyrie gasped and smiled teasingly. "You're gonna end up putting me in labor if we decide to continue."

Time skip few days later....

I was summoned by the doctor that took care of Kyrie, I wondered if it was important for me to arrive.

"Good morning my lord." He greeted.

"Good morning might I ask why have I been summoned by you today it's rather odd." I asked.

"Yes, certainly my lord it seems lady Kyrie hasn't given birth yet I'm much concerned for her wellbeing as well as the child's."

"What is that suppose to mean?" I questioned.

"If lady Kyrie doesn't not give birth soon her child will probably die." He said.

"What?!"

"It's rare for a woman to be pregnant for more than 9 months and lady Kyrie is suppose to give birth this month if not she'll be 10 months pregnant and I'm concerned whether her child is alive or not." The doctor explained.

"I see so I have to make sure Kyrie gives birth." I reassured.

The doctor nodded. "Yes as soon as possible."

"How can I induce her into labor?" I asked.

"Well there are many possibilities, stimulating her body would be one of the options her body will start contractions and it will move the baby into its proper place. Another option would be to have intercourse with her and break her water, however you risk the chances of the baby having an illness that way; and the last option would be to have her lay in a position that the baby would naturally fall into the birth canal."

"Thank you doctor I will do my best to make sure Kyrie gives birth before the month ends." I said.

The doctor nodded. "Please inform me if my lady falls into labor."

The doctor left, I went straight to the garden go get Kyrie back inside before it was dark.

"Everything alright Ieyasu?" Kyrie asked.

"Yes, everything's fine princess now let's go inside its gonna be cold, I've asked the cooks to make a warm meal for you."

Kyrie blushed."Thank you....Ieyasu after dinner I want to take a bath."
