Ieyasu's POV

It was a warm autumns day at the togukawa providence tadakatsu was resting from our last battle against shingen and I was taking the day off from my work to train outside and test my strength

"Lord ieyasu my lady Kyrie has arrived and is in her room" a soldier said interrupting my training

"Yes, thank you for telling me" I said

The soldier left and I sighed looking at the clouds

My beloved Kyrie, she was the most beautiful woman I had ever laid my eyes upon her perfect face, her amethyst eyes, her pink lips that I so desperately wanted to kiss it frustrated me sometimes

We got married about a month ago an alliance with her clan and mine but me and Kyrie had been friends since children so this wasn't an awkward thing when we both agreed to marry each other

The issue was that my beloved Kyrie and I haven't exactly how do I say "consumed"our marriage yet due to my involvement in the war I was frustrated I was always away I never had time for her and yet she stayed during all that time

And the thing was that ever since we were children all that she could talk about was getting married and having a family that was what she wanted the most and I hadn't given her any of that except the marriage part

I wore my gi since I had been training in the morning and went inside up to kyrie's room

I called her name outside the door

"Come in ieyasu" her sweet voice responded

I entered the room to reveal Kyrie in her long traditional kimono like it was very long and colorful it was designed for a princess of royalty

I went behind her and kissed her neck and cheek she giggled "Ieyasu that tickles."

"How are you?."I asked.

She turned around to face me "I'm fine just looking through these books and adding more details and information to them."

"Are you done with training?" She asked in her sweet voice.

"Yes, I'm done I'm taking the rest of the day off."I said.

"That's good right?" She asked.

"Yes, it's very good...we should go somewhere." I suggested.

"Where?"

"The Tokugawa has a house more like a mansion by the river we can go there and be all alone just the two of us for a few days." I said.

"That sounds....great when do we leave?" she asked.

"We leave in the afternoon." I said.

"Umm let me go get ready okay?" She said.

She pecked my lips and left the room.

Kyrie's POV

'Oh god ieyasu is really going to take me somewhere today?!' I mentally panicked.

I was pacing back and forth rather desperately

"My lady what's wrong?" Lily the maid asked.

"Ieyasu said he's going to take me somewhere today and be there for a few days but I just don't know what he has planned and we're going to be alone lily please help me." I confessed nervously.

Lily smirked "he might be planning to consume your marriage this weekend."

"Do you think so? I'm so nervous my heart can't stop racing will it hurt? Will Ieyasu feel good? What if I'm not good enough?"

Lily put her hands on my shoulders "Don't worry my lady everything will be fine ieyasu is a gentleman he wouldn't do anything to hurt you in any way has he not proven it?"

"Yes, but__"

"But nothing my lady I'll help you pack you will be leaving with lord ieyasu today."

I sighed "alright."

Lily helped me with the packing....well she basically did the packing I didn't do it.

I was pacing back and forth in the room when ieyasu entered

"Are you ready to leave Kyrie?" Ieyasu asked

I stopped my pacing and looked at him

"Yes, she's ready to leave my lord." Lily said in my place.

I glared at her she smirked.

"Yes, I'm ready lets go ieyasu."

Ieyasu took my hand as me and him left the village as he led me through the forest

"Ieyasu how much further must we go?" I asked trying to catch up to him

"Not far we are almost there" he said

We exited the forest to reveal a small house near a lake

"It's beautiful Ieyasu" I said in wonder

"I knew you would love it lets go inside Kyrie"

Ieyasu led me inside the house it was alright it had a kitchen bathroom and two bedrooms and a garden the lake was only like 3feet away Ieyasu looked at the river more closely as he jogged towards the water, he looked excited and turned his head towards me

"Let's go swimming Kyrie" Ieyasu suggested taking off his shirt

"Eh?! Ieyasu I would love to but..."

I was extremely afraid of water because of an incident that happen when I was a child I wanted to play with the fishes so I went into the deep water I couldn't swim so I started drowning, father surprised and scared had to jump into the water to save me from drowning, from that day forward I've looked at the rivers and oceans from a safe distance

"But what? Are you afraid Kyrie?" Ieyasu asked concerned

I looked at him and blushed furiously I was so embarrassed that he found out

Ieyasu walked towards me he grabbed my waist and pulled my body onto his

"Look Kyrie I'll never let anything bad happen to you you can hold onto me and I'll protect you, you know that more than anybody else" he said grabbing my chin looking into my eyes

I blushed "Yes, I know that Ieyasu"

He smiled"Good now let's go"

He grabbed my hand and walked with me over to the river, he got into the water first once he was in he motioned me to join him

I looked at the water then back at Ieyasu it was a fierce internal battle wether to succumb or just run back to the house in the end ieyasu's comforting smile eased my mind and I walked over to a nearby rock and sat on it looking over the river and Ieyasu

Ieyasu swam towards the rock I was sitting on and extended his hand towards me

"C'mon you can trust me" Ieyasu reassured

I smiled and gave my hand to Ieyasu he took it and gently yanked my body over the rock and into his arms in the water

I gripped Ieyasu's shoulders as I he held my waist with one hand and with the other he wrapped my legs on his waist

The water wasn't cold but it wasn't warm either goose bumps started forming on my body as I felt ieyasu's warm breath on my neck

I looked up towards him he smiled and rubbed his nose against mine his sudden display of affection caused me to giggle

"See? I told you I'd protect you" he stated

He leaned down and started kissing my neck sweetly making sounds every time he kissed my skin

I scooped up some water in my hands and poured it over Ieyasu's head the coldish water falling over his hair neck and chest

I laughed as he shivered

"You're such a tease" he stated as I laughed

Without me knowing Ieyasu had poured water on me too

Causing my kimono to sag and goose bumps appeared on my chest and neck

He laughed at me as I panted heavily because of the water

I glared at him, he kissed my cheek lightly

"Alright let's get out of the water" he said

He swam towards the shore I released his body from my grip and felt the ground on my feet we entered the house through the back door instead of the front to not ruin the entrance with river water

"I'll go change in the other room" Ieyasu informed as he gave me a towel

"Alright"

I started looking for my clothes first after I had found what I was gonna wear I took my kimono off and stepped out of it and used the towel to dry my hair I felt a pair of hands grab my waist

I jumped and covered my chest as I turned around and it was Ieyasu he had a towel wrapped around his waist he was shirtless but dry, My body was still wet

I blushed "Ieyasu!!!" I yelled

"What's wrong? Kyrie?" He asked

"What's wrong?! What's wrong is that I'm naked and you're holding me!!" I yelled

"I'm your husband I have seen you naked you know" he stated

"That was only when we were kids Ieyasu!!" I protested
