perfect
Wednesday, 17:38,
"Come on, Remus! Classes haven't even started yet and I feel you've already eaten nine books," Sirius was curled up with Remus on his boyfriend's bed, squeezed up on to it's small mattress. Remus had his nose buried in a crusty Dickens book, having it so close to his face because his reading glasses were two meters away and he was too lazy to go leave the warmth he was basking in.
"I like reading."
"You like reading Dickens because it has the word 'dick' in it."
"Yeah, I wank off to the sexual writing of my Charles," Remus rolled his eyes and bent over Sirius to set his book down.
"Any better ideas then?" he asked, shooting a glance sideways.
"Trust me, a lot, but I wanna keep shit PG so I'll push those to the back of my head. Hey, I have an idea! I'll be back in a jiffy!" Sirius jumped up from his cuddle with Remus and ran out the room.
"Jiffy?" Remus whispered to himself, utterly baffled. He didn't know that someone like Sirius would have such an aged word in his vocabulary.
"Movie marathon! I've got Prime and Netflix so we're gonna have a fucking good time," Sirius pushed the door open with his back because his laptop was in his arms as well as snacks and chocolate bars and those pudding pots that were in the fridge.
"Ooh, exciting! Should I get tissues just in case?"
Sirius nodded eagerly. Brushing his hand against the top of his bedside table, Remus' fingers closed around the square box, and noticed the wrinkled sheets of his bed which looked very odd in his opinion. Instead of smoothing out the creases, a bright idea 'jumped his noggin', as Sirius would like to say. He thought it would be fun to act like a six year old and make a blanket fort.
"You're staring at that duvet for longer than the normal person should so I'm pretty sure you have the same idea as I do."
"We need to track down every pillow and blanket in this apartment, that's either ours or shared between all of us, obviously."
Sirius panted as he pushed the mound of blankets they had moved on to the floor in to the correct place, sweeping the damp hair away from his forehead.
"Why," he sounded like a thirsted dog, "did that take so long? And why am I so hot? Both meanings, by the way," Sirius lifted off his shirt and, due to his reflexes for being gay and not being able to see attractive bodies for too long, Remus threw him a clean white tee.
"OMG, Rem, you're sooo nice! No homo, though, right?" Sirius put on a thick American accent and Remus rolled his eyes.
"Shut your trap. Hey, can we watch The Theory of Everything? 'S a really good movie about the life story of Stephen Hawking and it's so bloody beautiful. These," he shook the box of tissues, "will come handy."
"Oh shit, it's time to burrow underneath these blankets. Hold me, dearie," Sirius leant gratefully in to his lover, head resting on his shoulder. Remus pulled him closer, wrapping his arm around his waist. To be entirely truthful, they weren't in the most comfortable position; the four blankets they'd gathered were jumbled between the gap of the wall and bed, where Remus and Sirius sat, backs against the smooth, white bricks.
"I'm gonna walk in. I'm walking in in five, four, three, tw-"
"Hell, James! Shut up! We're not sex-crazed shitheads, you know!" Sirius yelled from inside the room, but his voice was weak from crying too much.
"Oh my gosh, Sirius, are you crying? What's wrong? Are you hurt?" James bounded in to the room, face contorted with worry. He didn't like it when his brother cried because it made him scared that he would feel him sobbing in his arms again and that was heart-wrenching for him.
"We're just watching The Theory of Everything and, well, he's quite emotional," Remus stroked the long, black locks of his boyfriend, twiddling the ends in his fingers. Sirius blew his nose noisily in to a tissue, sounding like a trumpet.
"Why did she say that? Why did she that 'I have loved you'?" he sniffed.
"You should join us. I feel this weirdo over here might need some more support," Remus nodded towards the crying boy and James half-smiled.
"I have a feeling Sirius will flirt with you during this whole thing and I wouldn't want to intrude."
"Prongs," Sirius drew out the 'o', "I need my my bro-dude with me here. I need you to third wheel for me like I've had to do for you." James looked down and the watery grin on his face and folded his arms.
"Only because Lily recommended it and I trust her decisions," James sat down next to Sirius and Remus shoved the laptop more in to the middle so everyone could see.
Soon, the light outside dimmed and they were on their fourth movie, The Purge, where Sirius was shaking vigorously beside his boyfriend, who had his grip tight around him.
"Sirius, why are you shaking? The movie hasn't even started yet," James lifted a handful of Skittles in to his mouth, chewing on them harshly. Looking at his best friend through the corner of his eye, James' eyebrows dropped when he looked at Sirius with his arms thrown around his boyfriend's neck. He's an actual little twat.
"Sirius, I bought you that smoothie you like! Sirius? Where are- oh," Peter watched the three boys huddled up on the floor, engrossed in the movie they were watching. Remus absentmindedly patted the spot beside him and Peter suddenly felt a glow spark inside him. Hey, Remus actually heard him! And even acknowledged his existence.
"Thank you," he sat down and smiled back at Remus, who had beamed brightly seconds before. Peter, to be completely honest, feared having a new member join the group, because there was a chance that they'd be a really judgemental person, but he was happy that it was Remus who joined for now the group felt completed.
Unique.
Perfectly perfect until the very end.
After university, all his friends had landed themselves with a husband or wife, but Peter didn't really care that he was the only unmarried one, because now he'd finally got a girlfriend. A girlfriend with such a beautiful and bright soul. He couldn't wait to propose to her.
James and Lily got married the second after they graduated (okay, maybe not that quickly) and found a cosy place to settle down together. They were thankful for it's homeliness for now it was guaranteed a grand place to raise their newborn son to grow up in.
Nothing much really happened with Remus and Sirius, except that they fell even more in love, which is just a polite way of saying that they got ten times more gay. Still, their now thirteen year old son Teddy found it hilarious when his parents messed around.
