Personality: Hanabi is a rebellious student, and doesn't play by any rules she's given. She doesn't speak, and talks through Daichi and sign language. This is because she's selectively mute; after a tragedy, she lost her voice from screaming too much. Even after she regained it, she did not talk. She doesn't think very highly of herself, and often blames herself for what happens to her friends. She rarely smiles or laughs, but this doesn't change the fact that she is a very sweet and caring person, going out of her way to make sure the people she cares about are happy and comfortable. This can't be said about people she dislikes or hates.

-She can't insult someone without apologizing. Unless that someone is Tohru Adachi, or students she is enemies with, or the teachers.
